So what is everyone's favorite tethering method? Rooted/unrooted? I honestly haven't had the need to tether with this phone yet, but on my old device I was a fan of WiFi Tether and PdaNet depending upon what the situation called for.
I either use the built in mobile hot spot or foxfi. Of course modded the mobile hot spot so I can use it for free

Yeah it's due to location. Turn location off until you need it.

Well you have 2 options. Live with the battery drain or turn off location. Unless Google foxes it in a future android update that is the only way. Also I think Googles device manager will turn on location automatically as long as it is connected to Internet.

Hi, today I've used towelroot to root the nexus 5, everything seems to be fine, but the Play Store has this problem...
I tried to delete cache and app data, but it doesn't work...
What can I do?

are you connected to google servers or not?(white vs colored signal bars)

no, different bars. when you pull down on your notification bars, the signal there. if white, then connected to googles servers, if colored then not connected. and using xposed could create issues in itself, undocumented issues.
Mmm... It's orange too, so I think it isn't connected..
How it's possible? And what can I do?

if its orange, then its not connected. first off, just try rebooting. if still its not working, uninstall the xposed completely and try again.
I have to uninstall the modules too?

yea. unfortunately, xposed brings so many undocumented issues into the mix that im going to need it completely uninstalled to help with your issue. i mean whats the point of trying to figure the issue out if you keep installed the one thing that can create these issues?
Nothing is changed after uninstalling and rebooting...

ok, now im trying to figure out why you arent connecting to googles services.. has this been like this for a while, or only started today? if it only started today, it can happen occasionally. id give it a day or less to see if it connects, i guess the issue could be google side as well.
Yes, it's happened today after configured Gravity Box...
However, I've read some topic on the web saying that it could be a root problem, even if I have never heard about this...
Mmm... I'll wait until tomorrow...
Thank you for the help, I'll keep you informed

all "root" does is give you permission to change system files, thats all. only way it can be a "root issue is if you went and changed system files(which i doubt). so if it happened after configuring gravity box, chances are that its related to it. again, xposed comes with many many undocumented issues.
Understood, hope it will work

I keep getting a rejected message when I try to open a few different sites. They are not some crazy shh either. In just curious if there's something I'm missing. The links are valid. I've tried different browsers and everything. I don't have Antivirus or ad killers either.

It may help if you told us which aren't working. Are they only not loading on your phone? Are you on wifi, if so does it work on mobile data, other wifi networks?

Ok so, just to confirm the issue, you cant access the playboy page on the facebook app, but all other pages work, and it loads fine in a browser, is this correct?
Sent from my SM-G900A using Tapatalk
From the links on the post, no browser will load the pages. It's weird, I switched ROMs and it worked for a while then they say webpage can't be displayed again. I'm just confused why.

Anyone know of any remote apps that let you control a android TV box from your phone with the ir plaster? I have a cs918plus btw.

There's a new one requiring root here on xda, android, apps.... I can't find it tight now.. But it might cast your touches to the other android device...
Not sure how it really works and suspect all devices will require root and the app

The app is called Webkey. Let's you control the Android device from another computer's Web browser. Requires root.
