Ota update upload pls...

Yeah, I saw it on my phone about midnight.

I am not uploading anything. It's a secured zip without the key it's useless.

I saw this update also, but when my phone restarted, there was an error and the LED flashes red/blue. Luckily my phone restarts, but I have to force close Software Update our I'm stuck in an update/reboot loop.

Received the update this morning. Thought the phone was ringing, went to check and found it to be restarting and going thru the "android upgrading" process. Update completed successfully for me. No root or custom recovery on my rig.
If you are rooted, that may be why the update failed.

You cannot take updates on a rooted device period..

Not rooted, Stock marshmallow. Can the D850 be rooted on Marshmallow? I spent a considerable amount of time unrooting and going back to stock to even get marshmallow, going to be pissed if I have this problem every time I restart the phone.
Error message was "MISMATCH _SIG_ LEN"

Is KIES the crappiest software ever?

Suddenly, mine stopped working. Launching it would give error messages boxes.
Tried to uninstall it, removed all registry references to "Samsung" and "Kies", re-installed it. Same problem.
This is what appears now (Windows7 64):

Was there any PC updates since lat confirmed working? ie Windows, software, resister changes etc...
You could try a system restore to an earlier time

Yes, there were...Windows updates ones.
It seems that, some now and then, a Windows update messes up some things. For instance, the calculator went beserk in the last update. Reverted the system to a pre-update restore point. Calculator OK. Couple of days later, the update kicked in again, calculator to the dogs.
In the past, there were instances where Windows updates would mess some things up and then just a short time later another update would kick-in and things went back to normal. Clearly MS is, sometimes, putting out some buggy updates just to patch them a week later.
What a wonderful IT world...I feel like I am allways catering for the latest blunder...Sheessh....

[Q] [HELP] Error when checking for OTA update!

Whenever I go to Settings > About Phone > Sytem Updates , instead of checking for OTAs, it just throws up this error message.

Now, I know its not because of a custom kernel, because some guy just received the 4.4.3 OTA on the same kernel.
I have tried rebooting, only to realize that nothing happened
Anyone else facing this issue or knowing how to fix it?
I sometimes receive the same error on a locked bootloader. I think its just server overload issue or something like that from Moto's side.

V10 New Update to H90021V

Just got a new update installed on my V10. New software version is H90021v. The only thing that I immediately see as different is "Wi-Fi Calling" in the notification bar

I'm not. Everything seems ok for me. Cell reception appears a little better in a couple of my local bad spots

I'm gonna factory reset, maybe that'll fix it.
The factory reset did the trick, this wi-fi calling is smooth!
I have a AT&T LG V-10 LG-H900 and my phone updated late Monday afternoon. I agree that so far "WiFi-Calling" is the most notable change. So far so good

They also patched some of the quadroot exploits
The 3 standouts are WiFi calling (and its beatdown on battery if enabled); July security patch; my phone is noticeably snappier, especially considering its performance was perfectly acceptable before the update.

I just updated and now my Snapchat camera looks horrible! It was so perfect and clear before.
Any way I can download and install manually?

SM-N915V -- Downgraded from 6.0.1 to 4.4.4 with mixed results

So, this is a little bit odd.
I have long since moved from using a Samsung phone as my daily driver, but still use my Note Edge while on the go as a mobile sketchbook. Well, last night I accidentally approved the OTA update that had been pending on my phone for several years straight, which updated my device to Marshmallow. The 6.0.1 update caused my performance to tank hardcore, to the point where it's borderline unusable and my battery drains in less than an hour. Unacceptable.
I used Odin to flash back to 4.4.4. I grabbed a stock ROM for my device and Odin 3.12.7, put it into recovery mode, and started the process. Surprisingly, everything went off without a hitch and I found myself with a green PASS box and no errors in the Odin log. Sweet.

However, something's not right. I'm still on Marshmallow, but with all of the old KitKat apps having replaced the ones that updated. All of the icons are their older versions and even the system font is back to its old thick, round self. The OTA update is back, somehow, and my phone's About page says I'm still on 6.0.1. User data was also not touched. The baseband of the phone matches the file I used, so I definitely flashed the ROM.
Obviously I missed a step. I thought this process would factory reset my device?
