Yesterday i messed up quite a bit with my device Allview viva i7g after i've unlocked my bootloader and accidentaly i put the wrong recovery ( the one i put minutes before flashing the tablet on my olther device which worked just fine) the problem is that i can't access the recovery( as expected) and the device can't go to bootloader without using the adb command.
(belive me i tried all the possible combinations) it can turn on stuck at the logo the device battery can be unlugged very easily so its not a big deal taking it off, and also if i keep pressed vol up and power it goes to a white screen for a few secs.
this is all the info i could think of for now feel free to ask me olther info if you want.

I have a rooted LG G2 (AT&T) running Android 4.2.2. I rooted it and then tried to install TWRP recovery. After attempting to flash a TWRP image using Flashify, the phone rebooted showing the Android guy with a red triangle (so basically the installation failed). I held down the power button and the phone booted up like normal.
Alright, now later down the line the phone received an OTA update (probably Kitkat). When the phone "booted", the LG logo flashed on the screen and then stayed black (the backlight was still on). If I hold the power button+volume down, the phone will just reboot. Without really being able power down the device, it seems I cannot get into download mode. Also, if I hold down power button+volume down for a long time, the notification LED will blink red (5 times *stop* 5 times...) until I let go.
Eventually I tried the power button+volume down button multiple times, pressing it in different timing intervals and managed to get it into factory reset mode! I followed the prompts but alas the phone will still not boot normally and the screen backlight is still on.
I hope this is the right forum, I need help fast.

Essentially, yes. This isn't a tech support forum. It's simply to help you find what you're looking for or find where to look for further information. Copy and paste your question in there. No need to have this one deleted though.
Okay so I have a bit of a situation and looking for some helpful advice, I'm not a complete novice but I seem to have gotten myself VERY stuck.
The Specifications:
Samsung Note 3 (rooted)
TWRP
Safe Strap
Rebooted recently and was in TWRP and accidentally chose "Recovery", phone now continuously Reboots into Recovery Mode in the upper left of the screen. I've tried to do the Volume Up + Power + Home button to no avail and every other combination I can think of, resulting in The same .. Reboot Recovery Option in the top left after about 10 seconds it Vibrates twice and reboots again.
I can't access TWRP, can't access Stock Recovery, Can't plug it into a PC as it just reboots over and over again after it gets power. Read a few things about Fastboot (Don't know if Note 3 Supports that, and Maybe Odin but I can't see how I'm to flash anything if it just immediatly reboots as soon as I plug it in)
HELP!

Hello All,
This is my first post at this forum.
I've come to a point where I'm on the verge of giving up.
A few days ago my Nexus 5 entered a boot loop without me doing anything special with it - it was just in my pocket.
All see is the google logo for a few seconds , then the screen goes down for a few more, and back to the google logo.
I'm able to go into fastboot by hold down the volume down (only) button when this happens, but the boot loop happens when I choose to boot into recovery mode.
My device has an unlocked bootloader.
I have fast boot access and no ADB (ADB wait-for-device doesn't work).
Went over a tutorial from androidforums.com and flashed a completely new image using fastboot.
The entire process worked, but the phone is still at the same state.
I've read that there is and issue with the power button on these devices - so I tried all methods of knocking it against stuff without success.
I've taken it to a lab nearby and the guy there was sure it was the power button. He said he fixed about 50 of these already - after a few hours he called me up and said he had replaced the power button 3 times and he's giving up.
in short , this is the current situation :
1. Device stuck in bootloop - only google logo is seen
2. can boot into fastboot (and have fastboot access from PC) but can't boot into recovery
3. flushing a stock succeeds but won't help
4. power button seems o.k.
I am about to call this a bricked phone and look for a new one but something inside me tells me that this might still be a software issue and can be fixed.
I would be happy to know if there is a way to know what is failing in the boot sequence. or maybe load a debug application on to the device to check the HW. I've yet to find any help in that direction.
I'm a software eng. working in the cellular comm. field, so I'm up for anything that anyone has in mind.
Thanks,
Ran.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
It does sound like a hardware issue and it could be the power button, except for one thing: wouldn't a held down power button in fastboot cause a shutdown as well? Maybe not, but I thought I'd ask that.
At any rate, better to get an opinion from someone who actually has the deivce. Please create an account (so you post in other forums) and then post in this thread (can copy and paste from here):

Hi,
I am pretty sure I have permanently bricked my phone, my PC no longer detects it (it used to, and I have tried reinstalling drivers several times)
When I turn on my phone, I see the HTC Logo, then it goes to a black screen, the only way for me to leave this black screen is hold power button and wait for capacitive keys to flash 115 times before it shuts off completely...I have access to Recovery Mode and am not rooted.
Any help is greatly appreciated as I've been trying to fix this for almost 8 hours now
(I have a HTC One M7 running OS~7.19.771.21)

I recently bought an Alcatel pop 4s(the unlocked model at best buy)and want to root it. One click roots wont work so i started the hard way. First thing i needed was to unlock the boot loader. Here's my problem, when i hold the power and up button it will take me to the recovery menu and i select to reboot in to boot loader, by doing this the screen turns completely black unless i press the power button at which point it just reboots normally. I also tried using adb reboot-bootloader and it simply reboots my phone. I have also tried plugging in to the computer while on the black screen and again it reboots the phone. There's an option in recovery to enable adb which when i click just tells me to reset and i have and it remains the same after it reboots. I have OEM unlocking enabled as well as usb debugging but i am at a total loss. If someone could help me unlock my boot loader or simply get to it for that matter it would be wonderful. If you could help with a full guide on how to root my Alcatel pop 4s that would be amazing as there is almost absolutely no information about this phone on the internet, thank you.
Hi !
Here`s a long discussion about your question , have a look , I`m afraid that your device must be OEM unlockable otherwise you can`t unlock it
