Hi All,
where do I ask a question as below
the other day my phone was screen locked and in my pocket for 5 minutes when i heard it restart
It had done a full factory reset in my pocket ....... unbelievable ....... I lost half of my kids video and pictures other half was on my sd card
readed up on it and thought I could un delete from its internal memory but needed rooting
installed TWRP and went to load super SU but ended up in a boot loop
so installed the factory ROM
and now it wont go pass the Galaxy flash screen (can still go into TWRP)
where do I go from here ?
cheers
Brett

Help me please! My Galaxy GT S7392 when it comes to boot, it keeps reapeting the same boot animation and doesnt boot!!!
Now, i'm gonna tell you what i did befor this problem and i thinks is the cause
I was going to do a root, just a root because i wanted to unistall some problems and i did root on another galaxy tablet it went well so i felt confident about this even tho i was about to lost my galaxy GT S7392 warranty (and i think i just did lost omg)
then it wen everything well, installed the binary, superuser, all fine at the first time. Then i check if its really rooted and the RootChecker says it isnt rooted. So... I repeated the whole progress, and i think is in this moment i make the mistake.
I installed the binary again and then i was going to the recovery mode after that and then... I couldnt went there in time and i saw the boot animation taking FOREVER! I decided to search for a solution, but i couldnt found anything!
Thanks for the help!
PS : No, i dont have a Customized ROM. Yes, i tried to do a Factory Reset by Recovery Mode when i could went there and did a Cache Wipe, restarted, and the boot stays the same. No, no one warned me about some kind of recovery.
Sorry for my bad english

Hey guys
I have been trying to resuscitate my friend´s Galaxy S2 for weeks and can´t figure it out. The point is we don´t want to wipe the phone as we want to save the data (contacts and pics that the friend did not save elsewehere).
What happened:
My friend opened Shazam, the phone powered off and has been stuck on the flashing Samsung logo screen.
I can access the recovery mode and download mode.
What I have tried so far:
Dowloaded appropriate JB ROM from Sam Mobile, tried flashing with Odin - the phone got hanging on "Upgrading Android OS, starting applications" screen.
Rebooted, hanging at the flashing Samsung logo screen.
Then I tried loading CWM from SD card, but this probably overwrote the original ROM as I could not access the recovery mode afterwards.
Tried flashing again to Jelly Bean.
Still stuck at the flashing Samsung logo screen.
Basically, is there any way how to recover the data only, without making the phone fully functional (or wiping the phone first)?
Any advice is welcome, thank you!

Hello guys,
A few months ago, I rooted my phone using kingroot. After a few weeks, i tried to install TWRP custom recover to unlock bootloader. I accidently downloaded a wrong version of it and flashed it using flashify app, after which i booted into recovery to check the new recover mode. But, something awkward happened. THE BOOT MODE DIDN'T OPEN AND THE SCREEN GOT STUCK AT "Booting into recovery". I read on the internet and realised that my device has got soft-bricked. Also, phone wasn't rebooting. So, i found a solution atleast start my phone. I took out my battery, pressed the buttons for download mode and then placed the battery back in and pressed the buttons for download mode and somewhow rebooted my phone (i read about this technique in xda forums). Now, although my phone works but i cannot access the recovery mode as it has got soft-bricked. Thus, i cannot perform a hard reset as it gets caught in that "recovery booting stuck cycle". So, can anyone tell me how to fix this? PLS QUICKLY. aLSO, i don't know much about ADB, so pls explain that too as my friend suggested me to use ADB to fix softbrick but im not sure!!

Hi thanks for reading not sure if this is the correct place to post. I'm rather lost on my options and fear that I've essentially totaled my phone.
USB isn't recognized(yes I've updated drivers and confirmed my cord allows data transfer and tried with usb debugging on and off), this is a hand-me-down phone I received rooted, attempted to apply Cyanomod (successful but got the No SIM issue even though I could call and receive texts no data though) proceeded to follow http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1831898
However after installing the latest modem my phone went into soft brick - boot looping.
I then decided to wipe Cache - D.Cache - system - Data. After doing this over and over I accidentally wiped internal data as well (fixed this issue by buying a micro SD card today) So now I got all my .zips and roms back where I can still flash.
Still in a boot loop and have read that maybe my recovery (TWRP) could be the cause of this, seeing how I've basically wiped everything multiple times to try and get to the bottom of this.
Is there anyway I can use the Command Terminal IN TWRP to flash a newer version of TWRP ( because I had not used the latest TWRP )
If so can you please give me the command line in which I could use the .img of twrp-3.0.2-0-d2att.img and when going into the Command Terminal at what level should I select?
I really can NOT afford another phone atm and I'm very gracious for any help. I've watched and read many useless videos/articles over the last few days and can't seem to find a video that would involve not using a PC to use Odin.
P.S. - I'm also prepared to go back to stock everything if that's what's called for atm but first this boot loop is the issue. Thanks in advance.
