TWRP not working on NXT-L29C432B320 - Mate 8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I've installed the ROM NXT-L29C432B320, I then wanted to reinstall TWRP using fastboot.
Got the following output:

The screen is stuck here, noting is happening.
Already attempted to refllash mutliple times. No difference.
Already attempted to use 'Volume up' + 'Volume down' + 'power', does not work either.
Pressing the 'Volume up' button during boot (without 'power'), shows me the Huawai eRecovery.
Please help me making TWRP work again as I'm now unable to flash any new rom on it!

Try use the more recent TWRP 3.0.2 for EMUI4.1
Use Vol up+down at power on to get to recovery and should work, this is the one that worked for me...

Hi 3abdell,
The version you flashed is an old one. You must flash EMUI4.1 version of Twrp.

[Q] boot to black screen, can not get into recovery

I just flash a rom(white-heat 5.0.1) onto my phone (nexus 5 rooted, bought from google) and after t was done booting all i have is a black screen with the clock and signal at the top right and a arrow at the bottom left, i can not get into phone to try to fix. so i tried to boot into recovery and see if i could just try it again but when the twrp logo comes up i wait to get into recoovery but it passes by and then boots regular and back to black screen from before.
adb and fast boot are not seeing phone on linux or mac
there must be something i can do,, when the phone boots to black screen when i press the power button i can see home screen for second then black i could hear emails coming in to phone but is all i can do...
You can't boot into recovery because you have TWRP 2.8.2.0 with SMTP enabled.most likely. Flash back to previous version

Try getting into the bootloader and look if the device is detected, if so relash a factory image and start over. At least that what i would do.

If you are in bootloader mode connect the phone to the pc and see if it is connected and detected. If so flash a factory image and you`re phone is running again.

bricked due to S3 vs. S4 CPU mixup?

I have an old HTC ONE S (z560e => S3 CPU as I now know).
1) I managed to unlock the boot loader (htcdev)
2) Probably managed to get root access (r3-ville-superboot was fast and error free)
3) However them "recovery install apps" (CWM, TWRP) still clamied they'd need root
access but "superuser or su are not to be found"; weird, considering success of 2)
4) hence I tried to flash twrp recovery manually via
Code:
fastboot.exe flash recovery twrp-3.0.0-0-ville.img
message was
Code:
sending 'recovery' (11896 KB)...
OKAY [ 2.078s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 3.845s]
finished. total time: 5.931s
And that's it. won't boot anymore. I apparently got the S4 version of twrp-3.0...
Holding in power button for ~10 secs has it very shortly flash the screen and turn on the oragne LED for ~4 secs, then it's black again.
Any idea what went wrong?
Any chance how to save that situation?

Unable to Boot to TWRP by holding Vol+ and Power

Hi All,
I have recently manage to unlock my bootloader and have followed the instruction on installing global rom but i'm having issue installing TWRP on my MI MIX 3.
When i pressed VOL+ and Power, it kept bringing me back to MI recovery instead of twrp
The actions that i have did on my end
1) extract miflash_unlock-en-2.3.803.10, ran the app and manage to unlock my bootloader after 72 hours
2) installed ADB and xiaomi usb drivers on my laptop
3) downloaded TWRP_perseus.img
Executed command prompt within the same directory of TWRP_perseus.img with the following output
C:\adb>fastboot flash recovery TWRP_perseus.img
target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes

I have tried renaming to twrp.img /recovery.img and on different folders but all end up with similar output as above.
I appreciate any assistance as i tried searching online for guides or support but i can't find any.
Thanks in advance for the help

Keep doing volume up and power, if it boots to the "mix" screen go back into fastboot and flash twrp. Repeat until you're in
Do not use fastboot boot twrp
Don't give command boot, doesn't works
After command flash send manually in recovery power + vol up

Can't get into recovery mode

Hi.
After trying to upgrade my rooted P20 eml-l09 c605 with EMUI 9.x, I couln't get into recovery mode anymore (on button + vol up)
What I did was flash original ramdis.img and recovery_ramdis.img to unroot it, so i could upgrade it directly from the phone, but something bad happened so I couldn't get the recovey menu anymore.
Help please.
PS: (Bootloader is unlocked)
This message appears when I try to flash recovery_ramdisk
- Flashing TWRP recovery
target reported max download size of 471859200 bytes

Where did you find the original ramdisk image from?
I need it too because i accidently flashed a TWRP version that doesent work
I can't flash anything, even with the original ramdisk (downloaded from firmware finder).
I really don't know what to do.
My phone is an EML-L09C605, it is working and rooted.
Only I can get to fastboot menu.
I still haven't got a solution but, Is downgrading it the way to follow?
Help please.

Fastboot mode freezing

Hi. I was following the instruction<oneplusDOTgadgethacksDOTcom/how-to/update-your-oneplus-7-pro-without-losing-root-no-computer-needed-0208078> to upgrade the os on the pro. One step is to install TWRP. I followed the instruction<twrpDOTme/oneplus/oneplus7proDOThtml> and run "fastboot boot twrp-xxxx.img". It finished and my phone displayed "fastboot mode" and freezed there. I tried to hold the power button and hold power button & volume down button. Neither worked. Aappreciate any help.
I only have a macbook pro.

You can upgrade the is without twrp, just go for local upgrade in updater app.
Also the terminal should show downloading boot.img message which is not shown in your case and it is evident that something is wrong.
Mess around a bit and you will figure it out
