Hi guys, been a while since i've posted but hopefully someone can help.
My S6 on Three was working perfectly fine until today when my battery ran out at 7am this morning during my early shift.
Got home and put it on charge and left it plugged in by the side of my bed. I woke up a few hours later and the phone booted, said I had 1% battery and then turned itself off.
I have tried my charger from my other s6 but the best it will do is boot up and say it has 1% and then it closes down.
I then tried the charger and it keeps making a noise like the charger is disconnecting.
Any advice please?
So today i went out and bought a lg urbane smart watch.
Initially when i unpacked it, the battery showed 100%, dropping to 94% after I've been playing around with it for an hour maybe.
Then all of a sudden, the screen went black and i couldn't get it to power on.
I then put it in the charger, an after 1 hour and 20 minutes, it got to 2% :S
i figured it might be confused, due to not having run a full battery cycle yet, so i took the watch from the charger, and went to the movies.
Now the watch have been going for 4 hours on 2% battery (still going), so i thought i would do a factory reset to fix the problem.
But now the real problem appeared! The watch still thinks it got 2% power, which means i cannot pair it to my phone (less than 20%) and charging makes no difference at all :S
Will i have to bring the watch back, or is there a fix?
Edit: sorry i accidentally made this in the wrong section
Fixed it
I fixed the problem.
The symptoms:
Out of the box, the watch showed 100%, but before the battery dropped below 90% the watch went out.
After charging with the included charger for about an hour and a half, the watch showed 2%.
I unplugged the watch, and it lasted for hours, still showing 2%.
Steps i did to fix.
1. I factory reset the watch, resulting in a "brick" still showing 2% battery, and it wouldnt let me pair the watch as it was beow 2%.
2. I left the watch in a 2amp charger for about an hour.
3. The watch showed 100%, and is now working as expected, dropping maybe 4% an hour with full brightness and always on (and me playing with it abit ).
My conclusion was, that once the watch actually reached a 100%, the charger might have sent a "charging done" signal to the watch, telling it that the battery is at 100%.
Hope this helps someone else!
Probably this thread would be way more interesting if it would have been posted in the correct forum area...
Yea, i posted it here by accident :silly:
Maybe someone can help me move it?
Hello, i got a s6 recently and the next day i bought it was dead. I thought it was a battery issue, so i changed it, but the battery expanded and it really didnt worked out. The phone just turns on while charging. I tried disconnecting the battery and still shows around 70% while charging. Any help?
Hello Everyone,
I have been using the Samsung Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955U1) for the last six months.
Sometime early this week the phone battery started draining and i kept the phone to charge every time it drained the battery.
One night the battery was about 55% and when i woke up it was totally drained out and post that the phone wont charge again.
Now when am putting the phone to charge it shows the charging sign with the circle, but the phone wont charge or turn on.
I tried doing soft reset a couple of times, the phone would start upto the Samsung Logo and would go back to charging sign again.
Would like to know if anyone has a similar problem and if there's any solution to this problem?
Thanks!
I've recently noticed some issues with my watch running low on battery during the day. I charge it at night, and I noticed that it has not been fully charged in the morning. If I take it off and put it back on teh charger it completes charging, but it seems that at some point during the night it stops charging and begins draining. Could this be an issue with the charger, or what might the problem be?
