Need help; developing a ROM - AT&T LG G3

Hey guys, I need some help for creating a ROM. About two years ago I created my first ROM but that was a quite simple one, now I look forward to create a heavily customized ROM for the LG G3 as well as the S6. i don't know where to begin, (made custom boot animation, sounds and currently working in Android Studio).
I look forward to create a ROM from a deodexed base ROM so can any one help with retheming the entire thing?

Resources for cooking own ROMs...

Hey peeps.
I'm wanting to get my hands dirty and start cooking my own ROM for the HTC Tattoo, which has been rooted and now has a custom recovery.
I would like some pointers on a tutorial on cooking custom ROMs, as it's kinda new to me, but I'm a fast learner (I learn more visually than reading on paper).
By cooking custom ROM, I mean either taking a stock ROM and gutting the crap out of it (and making it barebones), or compiling from source. For starters, I'd think I'll take the easy approach and go with taking the stock ROM from an offical RUU and modding it a bit (I've looked at a tutorial and think I can adapt it for Tattoo).
I'd like tutorials of both methods, as there might be a time where I want to compile my own Android 2.1 ROM for the tattoo.
I am using CoburnOS Professional (my own distro based on Debian 5.0 "Lenny") for my development cooker computer.
If you can help me with this, we'll have a new ROM in the works!
Cheers,
Coburn.

[Q] First time cooking rom

Hi all i have an lg fathom and i've flashed a few custom roms to it. They were good but there were certain elements between them that i wanted the others to have. Could someone run me through the process of cooking a rom from scratch? I've been trying for a while but with no success

[Q] Roms compatible with Sharp FX plus? (ASD1)

Hello XDA,
I have bought a new android device for myself today, the Sharp FX Plus (Model: ADS1) and I've been browsing on the site to find some compatible roms; But no luck. I've used the forums before to successfully root and put a rom on my ASUS tablet with no issues, but this one is a mystery. Is there a thread with what roms are compatible with my phone or has nobody ever really looked into this phone? I've tried to google it with no luck, either. The phone is already rooted, I got that far, I just can't find any roms that are 'confirmed' compatible with it.
Thanks to whoever replies!
P.S. I'm slightly new to the whole custom rom thing - but I do somewhat understand the basics.
metoo!
I too have a sharp fx plus ads1. I have my phone rooted but am having no luck finding a custom rom. I understand it is kind of an entry level android and maybe out of date but it has all the capabilites I need. I also know enough to root my phone and install a rom but not good enough to actually create my own custom rom. Is there anyone that has the time and enjoys doing so that would help out with a custom rom for these phones? I found a page that mentioned updated to 3.2 with a new rom but there was no link for the rom so I'm thinkning it was a fake. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

EDIT: I posted in Misc Android Development section here, trying to put the information in a centralized area for any potential development on this device.
Recompiled the CM7 Kernel as a test using the device's config.gz, working on getting the CM7 source to go (its being tricky lol). I have a test CyanogenMod 6.1.2 ported from a Z71 that runs, as well as a modded stock 2.2.2 ROM. A "dirty-port" test of a Z71 CM7 rom boots with some mods (no radio, networking, etc..) - so there may be some hope for this lil thing!
Hope that helps

What makes a ROM special ?

Hi,
Guys I want to know what makes a certain Rom special/better than others ?
I'm kind of new in this, the roms I've built right now are all built upon the stock Rom of my phone.
The only differences between my roms and the stock are ringtones, fonts, apps, boot animation, themes, wallpapers, etc like all the basic things.
I'm not finding this interesting, I wanna make something of my own.
How should I do this ? By using the Google source as a base in the kitchen ?
If its possible from where should I download this source code?
You guys must have figured out by now that I'm a noob
I'm not sure but I could be lost, so any help will be greatly appreciated
PS is there any internship thing here on xda, to which one could to apply and learn how to build a Rom from scratch/Google source.
PPS I'm tired of flashing my own phone every time i wanna test my build, is there a virtual box for flashing ROMS ? Like Genymotion but its for apps....
Thanks

Learning to modify ROM/Kernel from Samsung Galaxy Tab Active SM-T365

Hey, i got a little project right here. It's important to say that i have knowledge in this kind of stuff but i never messed around with it except from installing roms on my phone.
I have to modify my self a ROM and kernel from android stock ROM (lets say Lollipop 5.1.1).
I need to do stuff like disabling the SD/Bluetooth /WI-FI in the kernel and comping a new ROM. Can someone here send me to the right places to learn how can i achieve this?
Thanks in advance.
