Dear XDA community please Help! TMobile or Verizon are incapable of solving this issue:
I am switching my verizon HTC One model 6515LVW unlocked to TMobile and i cant received phone calls make phone calls or send sms. I received sms and have full data. Help please! What do i need to do to make it work? Can it work? Neither TMobile nor Verizon figured it out.

My first post here. if I am in the wrong area or doing this incorrectly someone please kindly assist me to move this or delete. Maybe guide me to another post or thread may be more helpful. I have another note 4 that is US Cellular it is an SM - N910r4. I am attempting to change it over to carrier free so I can put it on straight talk. USC is unwilling to unlock the device all the way up to the office of the president. I wish to know how to edit the device so that I can put it in a new sim that will make it carrier free or straight talk. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 25 years of the best repairing windows and now a complete noob at Android. I will spend the rest of my life learning to master this wonderful new operating system.

If your dealer can't or won't help, I suggest you post your question with all relevant details in the friendly Q&A forum there at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-g4/help where the experts familiar with your device will be best able to guide you. Note that since T-Mobile devices are generally fully unlocked, you might simply need to factory reset your phone (an option typically under the "Backup and Reset" settings)" and enter your own information.

I have SHV-E160S 4G LTE (Korean), and 4G is not available in our city. I want to use 3G.
Whenever I go to Mobile Data Settings and there are two options
(1) 2G & 3G
(2)4G LTE
As I have told you guys I have no 4G but 3G coverage is available. I check the first option but yet the phone keeps on running on 2G, I've heard that these korean SHV-E160s are 3G locked. One of my friend has a SHV-E160L (Also korean) and 3G works perfect on his phone.
Please tell me some way to unlock or use 3G.
P.S. My phone is rooted, using KINGOROOT App

There is no forum specifically for the SHV-E160 family of devices at this time but I see that you have already posted your question in the general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you but since your device is relatively uncommon, please be patient and give the experts plenty of time to respond. I also see a number of references to the SHV-E160 from a site search at http://forum.xda-developers.com/sitesearch.php?q=SHV-E160 which might be worth reviewing.

I just saw an LG G4 (VS986) on ebay. I live in India. The carrier is verizon, the VS986 is an US model. It is written that hotspot won't work. Also there is mentioned that verizon logo will come up during booting. My queries are:
1) Why hotspot won't work? Will I be unable to access WiFi also?
2) Why will verizon logo come up during booting? Is it common or the phone is rooted?
3) Will I also face problems regarding upgrading the phone to marshmallow?
That's all... I know these are too many questions but please help....
