You could get better help if you would have included your country and the firmware or build number that your current using.
With that said.... goto samfirmware and download the latest firmware for your device. Then use odin to flash the firmware, you should then have latest update and you can then root again.
There are other methodes but I think this is the least complicated.

my note details is added
I know your method and used it a lot via mobile odin, but I used to keep the
root from options, and iam not sure if the new firmware will wipe my note or not if I flash it via odin pc
I read that flashing the stock recovery will unroot it.
I read that flashing the stock recovery will unroot it.
Flashing stock rom removes root .
But latest updates are more likely on XDA or sammobile before Kies or OTA .

I see your updated info except for country that you live in. You may have the newest for your country.
Yes, flashing a new firmware with PC Odin will remove root,.
I have not done it in a while but from what I remember all data remains in tack, just don't do a factory reset.
I do believe that there is a way to install a factory firmware in mobile Odin and keep root but I have never done that method.

unrooting will open OTA update to update the device with 70-80 mb rather than downloading 1 gb

You could try to un-root with Galaxy Note 10.1 ToolKit, read about it here and then do your update

Hi,
I'm searching for the stock official firmware for my 6210 with stock recovery to be able to restore for service procedure.
If I flash some KiktKat rom, and I would like to restore the XXME2 (XEH) firmware - this is the latest firmware for my region Hungary - I just only can do, if I have this rom.
I have upgraded my device with KIES to this firmware from the stock HC3.2 firm, because only this firmware was released for Hungary.
Thanks in advance.

www.sammobile.com there is firmware for all sam devices u can also download this or
www.samsung-updates.com gl:good:
Thanks. I know both sites, but the ME2 (XEH) isn't available on none of them, unfortunatelly.
But if there is any way to get out the stock recovery from any firmware, it would be great.
Then I can make a nandroid backup from CWM, which I can restore if necessary then putting back the stock recovery.
Hi,
I am running Aurora Rom v6 on GS4 i9500 based on lollipop 5.0.1. I have been reading a lot about upgrading modem and bootloader. So first of all i would like to know is it really needed to update your bootloader or modem, if yes then how should i do it ? Do i need to just flash the files via odin in PDA mode or some other mode need to be selected ? Also does it require full wiping your cache dalvik cache ?
Here is my current modem number I9500DDUHOA1.
I am not sure how do i find out which bootloader i am running.
Thanks !!
Can anyone please reply !!

Your device's modem/bootloader version is up-to-date. Modem + BL is included in the stock firmware and you already had installed the latest stock firmware for your region (I9500XXUHOAA - INU) before you switched to a custom rom.
im trying to revert back to lollipop stock rom to install that new stock marshmallow rom. another user said that he had to install stock lollipop then use samsung smart switch to detect that his device is available for update to marshmallow then install that stock optimized rom. odin keeps failing after cm.bin and i have tried 3 different versions, different cables but not different files or different pc. please help

my current rom is custom stock debloated and deodexed from from Pavan. i don't know what is the CSC code of the rom but its based on J700MUBU2APF1
Try this
Download the ZTO MM rom.
Do a full wipe in TWRP.
Reboot into download mode.
Flash the MM rom via Odin.
You'll have to reinstall TWRP (Odin) and reroot (TWRP).
Sent from my SM-J700F using XDA-Developers mobile app
will try and will report as soon as i got free time to install.
Hi! I have flashed and engineer boot file to my S7 and it is stuck in a boot loop. I am having trouble finding the stock firmware to fix the problem. What I have found is not fixing the loop. Does anyone have the stock firmware I can use/buy to fix the problem? Can I use a different version as long as it is an AT&T variant? I cannot risk wiping the phone when i do this procedure.
Thanks!
You can't flash stock firmware without wiping.
Updato.com and sammobile.com have all the stock firmware for all model devices.
You should be able to flash any G930A or G930U firmware, except you won't be able to downgrade (i.e. you can't go from nougat to MM).

Thanks for the reply Beanvee! I'll check Updato.com. I wasn't familiar with this one. Sammobile and Samsung-firmware didn't have this firmware version. Anybody else out there have the firmware for this model?
Thanks

I flashed 7.0 on my S7. Also; it was a 930A I flashed to a 930F. Works excellently. I have Xposed as well. So the firmware can be found here in XDA.
