How to RooT MT7-TL10C00B561 (LOCKED Bootloader) - Ascend Mate 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello to every one !
I received an OTA update, around 1 giga , giving me the Version Android 6.0 on my phone MT7-TL10C00B561 (Chinese)
is there anyway to root it easily withoyt unlocking the bootloader ?!
I hope somebody can help me !
Thank you in advance friend !

Friends, please. No body can help me root the MT7-TL10C00B561 version with locked bootloader ?

You should unlock the bootloader, install TWRP recovery and then SuperSU.
Other methods are risky with late versions of Android.
No shortcuts these days.

i used to have my phone rooted with bootlader locked.
I dont care about new roms, i just want my phone to get updates but also to be rooted, as i need some apps.
Sorry for my questions:
- if i unlock bootloader , will it block the OTA updates ?
- At my version b561 (marshmallow) how can i root my MT7-TL10 (gold) ?
Is there any guide for rooting the Marshmallow ?
Last: Is there any Rom that has been till now modified really good and smoothly ? (Just asking as i have not been online since i was Kitkat-Rooted)
Would really appreciate the help if you or somebody can guide me to Root my android version on my phone as i cant use my apps anymore at this point.
Thank you in advance !

Can anybody help me please guide me to root my phone? :/

No I am not.
I really feel so bad that I can't have root or unlock the bootloader. And many apps I need don't work and I can't backup...
It has been 1 year and half since this phone is out and still there is no way to get a simple root...
Can anybody help me please? :/

Note :- If you want to change the Superuser app to SuperSU , just download SuperSU from Playstore , open it , it will ask for Root Permissions , grant it , then follow the screen instructions to update the binary and remove the other Superuser app , finally restart the application.

I got upto installing Super SU and updating binaries, but if i remove the other superuser app, i lose root...
1. do i need to have bootloader unlocked or locked bootloader is fine to root?
2. does rooting will void my warranty? i only knew that unlocking bootloader might void my warranty
thanks
just bought this phone yesterday and overall it's awesome for mid-end device, the only cons is it's internal storage that is too small. mine has only 1,7GB left for user to install program and store data

No need unlocking bootloader for rooting our device
Do not unlock bootloader it is not necessary until if u want to Install custom rom and flash different kernel since stock rom works good
Ull lose warranty if rooted but u can unroot ur mobile easily by flashing stock rom
If unlocked bootloader Ull lose warranty forever even tat we can relock just don't do it

No worries, thanks for the photo. Unfortunately, you're on the latest update and you can't unlock the bootloader or gain root access. The BL unlock was patched on the last OTA and root was eliminated on this latest OTA.

The exploit used to unlock the bootloader was patched by verizon. If you took an update, or received a phone with the update already installed, the exploit is fixed and you can no longer unlock the bootloader.
It's not a matter of him not considering you a brother.

Vivo Xplay 3S Rooted

First off, we have root. I'll post the method soon. Its using the third exploit in the cydia impactor.
Secondly, its kinda pointless until we can get the bootloader unlocked. This phone is locked tight.

We seem to have similiar taste....
I am very thankful, because I need my Vivo to play drum loops and use AirPlay on my iMac, which is linked to an amplification system (I am a Sax player).
This is working fine now using AirAudio on the Vivo (needs root).
One thing about the chinese root manager: I cannot get rid of it. I installed SuperSU and tried "Update", but it does not work even if I restart the device.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Günter

Yes. Open dial and press:
*#*#7378423#*#*
This opens service menu, choose Service Info and then Configuration.
Look for rooting status. If it says bootloader unlocked than you are unlocked. If it says Unlock allowed Yes, then you are locked but can unlock. If it say Unlock allowed No, than it's provider locked version and can not be unlocked, but still rootable.

Bootloader is never unlocked BY INSTALLING custom fw. But you need to unlock first to install custom firmware. However, stock based custom fw doesn't need it. So if you have unlocked bootloader, you must have did it by yourself or it was already unlocked if you both it second hand. Unless you have backup of your TA partition there is no way back. Never try to flash TA partition of other phone into yours or you will hard brick it.

OPPO a3s - ROOTING

Hi All,
I just wanted to ask if Rooting in Oppo a3s (Model: CPH1803) is possible.
I'm afraid to try rooting it because I haven't found any Rooting tutorials in YouTube and Google. I think it's because this was a new release. Sorry about my English grammar I hope you understand it.
I hope someone OPPO a3s user whom successfully rooting this Model will notice this thread.
Thank you for the help.

Fastboot isn't disabled, the fastboot binarues simply don't exist, OPPO removes them for some reason and as far as I know there sre no available installation files for them at the moment.
considering how bloated ColorOS is compared ro it's base system MIUI, I find this move very ****ty on their part
