HTC 10 PMEWHL Sense Kernel
(Should Support All Variants)
This kernel has been

Kernel Features
FEATURES - ElementalX-Port
Latest SaborMod 5.3 optimized -O3 toolchain
Easy installation with Aroma installer - Special thanks to flar2
overclocking
underclock CPU or GPU
i/o schedulers: FIOPS, SIO, CFQ, NOOP, BFQ, deadline
optional sweep2sleep
Option to disable magnetic cover
INSTALLATION
1. Install zip from recovery
2. Follow the instructions, if you don't know what to do, use the pre-selected options
3. Wipe cache/dalvik cache
4. Reboot
It is recommended to disable or increase the screen timeout in TWRP recovery. If the screen timeout is enabled in TWRP, there may be a black screen after exiting the Aroma installer. This is nothing to worry about. Simply hold power and volume down and volume up buttons until it reboots. The installation will be fine. If things get stuck in aroma, simply do this reboot method and immediately hold down to get to bootloader mode, then select recovery and start from the beginning.
Donate to Flar2!

IF SYSTEM SAYS EXT SDCARD CORRUPT, DO NOT WIPE!!! FALSE ALARM!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!
NOTES AND OTHER IMPORTANT STUFF YOU SHOULD KNOW!!!
Overclocking
Overclocking is optional. The installer lets you choose the maximum frequency. Whatever frequencies you chose in the installer will be set at boot for each CPU. Not all devices can handle overclocking. I don't recommend overclocking, this device is fast enough. If you overclock, the CPU frequency will likely be throttled due to heat. I recommend the stock frequencies, as this device is plenty fast.
Installing a new ROM
If you install a new ROM, it will probably replace this with the stock kernel so you will lose your settings and certain features. So always reinstall the kernel after installing a ROM.
Sweep2sleep
Sweep2sleep allows you to put your device to sleep by swiping right to left across the bottom of the screen where the back, home, recent buttons are. I find this useful since the stock motion gestures do not provide a good way to turn off the screen.

Is there an option to turn off vibration to the home button?
It's off in Bad Boyz for everything, but the home button is vibrating loudly.

It has never been off in BadBoyz, with screen on, it has always vibrated.
You can turn it off in Sound & Notifications, uncheck Vibrate on Touch. That is for all buttons though.

That's what I meant, bud.
I have all vibrations off in settings, using Bad Boyz ROM.

Nah, read through flar's thread too, but they found turning off vibrate in touch doesn't turn on home vibrate. That's separate. So you have to check home button mod in aroma when flashing, then use this app from flar to mod home button behavior and turn off vibration.

Yep, checked it back on and Home button vibrates with screen on as it should.
Well, mine doesn't work like that. Mine is unchecked and the home button still vibrates. The others do not.
Perhaps a setting in the kernel's Aroma installer?
Also, brightness doesn't really have a long variation of bright to dim.
Maybe it's my lighting, but half way brightness was the same as completely dim.
Just passing along.

Duuuuuuuude thanks so much!!!!! My phone is now complete
Maybe it's placebo, but I'm getting some ridiculously good battery life with this kernel.
I'm on Venom 1.3.0, and I've also downloaded the thermal tweak in the Venom Hub, and I'm also using the tuned interactive governor Ghostpepper.

I have the same setup and am loving it. I just hope all the tweaks aren't interfering with each other. I wouldn't know because I applied them all at once. Probably not the wisest decision...

THIS WILL WIPE DATA
Install setcpu to overclock. Default clock is 1017mhz
Gingerbread 2.3.4 compiled from AOSP source.
recommended radio is latest OTA- you can get it here, just put it on your internal sd card, and reboot into bootloader. this was taked from id10terror's zip, and this rom has everything from that fix(thanks id10)- youll just need that radio(not required, just recommended)
this is a hybrid build of sorts as it still uses some cm7 drivers, build scripts and the proprietary htc vendor files from cyanogens git. All the apps and rest of the build was cloned from the latest updates of the AOSP source from android.git.kernel.org repo. i left some of cm7's framework tweaks in, and added a few small things of my own.
Everything was edited BEFORE compiling so nothing in this rom has been decompiled or hacked, so it will make a great base for themes and all that.
The way it sits right now, it is the smoothest rom ive ever used. (youll see)
rom-
-compiled from aosp source with some cm tweaks and some of my own
-completely stock theme-untouched/
-CRT screen off animation
-overscroll glow
-custom boot animation (put bootanimation.zip in /system/media)
-reboot, reboot recovery, reboot bootloader
-4 quicksettings in the status bar(wifi, bluetooth, gps, vibrate)
-accurate % battery- (wasnt gonna include this, but i know it would get asked for, plus i wanted it so i wrote the stat_sys xmls.)
-rotary unlock screen
-inspire 4g branding
-working flash player(DO NOT UPDATE FLASH)
-inspire 4g audio files and kernel should be supporting the dual mic
-cm DSP manager, rom manager, file manager & torch.apk- compiled from source and included
-ad blocking
-+ a lot more but ive been up for 2 days.
kernel-
base-CM7 kali- any cm7 kernel should work with the rom
Overclock up to 1.97ghz
-slight undervolt-can be made more aggressive for better battery with a script
-kernel updated throughout
-bfq i/o default
-on-demand(default- dont even really need anything else, battery is very good) conservative, performance- smartass will come for those who want it
-tiny rcu patched in and working from here
-'speedmod'- updated jhash.h lookup2 to lookout3 as seen here
-a whole lot more improvemnts, but agian, i need sleep.
Git is in my sig.
-
credits- anyone/everyone involved with CM

Awesome work di11!! I love the vanillaness (is that a word? lol) of this. Bare bones. I love it. Got a GPS lock in about 4 seconds at 8 satellites in case anyone was wondering. In call volume is nice and loud and so is the speaker. No issues found whatsoever. Thanks again man. Great job.
Wow I'm in AOSP heaven! Two ROMs in one week.... lets see how this ones compares to gtg465x ROM.

One for me
Always follow the OP through and through.
If things are acting weird, or you have things going on and don't see too many people reporting it.
Redownload rom and gapps
Wipe data factory reset
Wipe dalvik and cache
Format System (upon flashing rom it will do this automatically)
Then flash rom and gapps then reboot system. (boot the rom and then go back and flash your kernel of choice, if that's what you choose to do).
Also if having issues, boot into safe mode and see if issues still persist. Boot into safe mode by hold power button and long press on reboot. This will boot you into no 3rd party apps mode, basically. To get out of it, just reboot normally
To enable Developer Options, go to; settings|about phone|tap build number 7/8 times
to enable reboot options,(recovery, download) enable advanced reboot in Developer options
Dual Panel mode will cause some weirdness in settings. Turn them of to set everything up and forget about it after.
All the tabletui settings work but nav colors reset after reboot
If you have the "tick" while playing music then disable "Screen lock sound" & "Touch sounds". Temporary work around for now
No PhotosPhere in this rom still...might get added but depends on stability and CyanogenMod
You must flash Gapps everytime you install the rom as it wipes system every time. Use the gapps in the original post, if you use other Gapps keep those errors to your self and adress the person that made those Gapps.
Facebook acts up and is weird?? Stop using the app.
Update system apps before saying things are broken. (Google Now)
If you decide to run a 3rd party kernel, take your issues about; speed, battery, and reboots to that thread, we cant change their kernel to make it better for you, they can. Thanks.
You will not have a 4g icon, it is an H+ when data is being retreived, when idle it is a 3g icon.
This is a work in progress, I'll update it as needed
FAQ PART
What base is this?
It is based off SlimRoms, with a lot of changes... It is it's own rom now
Which MMS app is built in?
A custom one, it has Themeable MMS and Popup. look in screenshots for my goofy face and pictures.
How to activate pie control?
settings>piecontrols>activate toggle. The trigger is at the bottom, slide your finger up slowly, and it will come up.
Where are the Touchwiz features?
In a Touchwiz rom.
How do I take a screenshot?
Volume down & power, OR... settings>powermenu>enable the screenshot.
Does this rom have Tablet mode and such things?
No, and there are no plans for adding it as of now.
Wow thanks !! First

I think it was more of a kernel driver issue, you can flash any of the new custom kernels and be fine I believe. But I'm only right 75% of the time 100% of the time.
Edit
In the change log it says it should be updated to the Q build.

Might be a easy fix but can't seem to find it.
Playing games or doing anything for that matter taping my screen zooms in causing confusion any way to disable it? Thought it was my kernel since I've never noticed this b4.

I have this issue as well - Even though I've turned off Peek and Pocket Mode, my proximity sensor still turns on when screen is off.
Also, I definitely remember not having this issue before I'd turned Peek and Pocket Mode both on. I mean, proximity sensor was working fine when both the options were off i.e., it would turn off even after screen off; then I turned both of them on and so it started staying on after screen off, and now a few days later when I turned both options off, sensor still turns on after screen off.
Any clues to solve this?
Otherwise great ROM, gonna probably use it as daily driver

Update
Hello Guys
We look forward to the new update 4.6 AOSP Parandroid
Really enjoying this ROM but I have encountered two small, but not unnoticeable issues-
1) After switching from notifications to quick toggles or vice versa, the switch button is pushed off the edge of the screen as shown below-

2) Quite often, video playback is warped in black and white, again shown below-
Any suggestions on how to fix these would be much appreciated!
Is the Development stopped??? 3 months without update!!!
Well is this the ROM this Q&A thread is for? If so then the dev posted a comment 5 days ago and he's definitely still working on it.

Does kernel tuner fix the s2w issue?
Sent from my HTC One XL using Tapatalk
Did you guys try the Motion Gestures in Xposed? You need to install the Xposed framework, then get the Sense 6 Mod Toolbox module from inside Xposed. Now you can set up sweep gestures to to wake your device or do tons of other stuff! Once you set them up in the Toolbox you need to reboot once. It's way better than the old s2w stuff I think.
I have mine set up to
Swipe up wakes device
Swipe up launches google search
Swipe right - next music track
Swipe left - prev music track
It's awesome!

nope. this kernel brings additional features which the stock kernel in liberty rom doen't have. Its upto you. If u use this kernel and find some unstability, u can get back to orignal by flashing boot_evita.img from original zip.
Bilal this is really a wonderful job you did here this rom is amazing thanks a lot for this hard work although you dont have the device
I just have some thing that bothers me using this kernel (although I had it before I flashed this kernel in the sense 6 rom) and it is the battery ... it doesnt get out of control no in fact its really good , but once charging it goes really slow ! I used the extreme power saver while charging and it is almost charging like normal phones *almost* with the extreme mode on... and some times when I am using some small apps like internet or whatsapp it either goes really slow (1% per 20 minutes) or just gets lower (even when charging) or just gets stuck ...
I really hope you can fix this I dont wanna ask to much cause what you did here is perfect enough I just wanted you to know
oh and wifi is pretty good with me after I wiped cache and dalvik' but I cant seem to find wifi hot spot ?
thanks for your support

Was gone for the weekend and saw all the Kernel drama but glad to see another MM rom out now! Thanks foreverloco for the time and effort!
Edit: Gave it a quick test run and you did a great job. You have covered a LOT of the things that users have been asking about like the Data Toggle, Volume Warning and so on right out of the gate. Even though it is just a little thing, I really like the keyboard cursor control with the volume keys. There seems to be times when you just can't seem to click in the right place and this is a great little feature in my opinion. Great job again!
testing rom now...........can i get back the volte icon plz....im loving it
Been on the rom for 5 hrs, smooth with no issues so far, thank you!

OK so I love the ROM and everything went smooth during install except when I go to change the time for "don not disturb" schedule settings crashes has anyone else had this issue?
