I've tried a few roms so far and every single one besides the 6.0 and 5.1.1 original FW is causing me to either get stuck in a bootloop,
or it turns the screen black and only blinks orange / amber on the LED.
I am wondering if there is someone that can help me out? I just want one of the non original FWs to work with root!
Also have teamviewer if needed.
Thanks again
make sure you are downloading the right FTF and use wipe option when flashing

Hey guys i got problem with my M2 D2303. I was on x.15 rooted stock ROM with unlock bootloader and when i wakeup one morning i was seen how my phone just booting. I have theroy i just make update my phone over rooted x.15 or something other happends. Anyway now my phone cant load ROM. I tried instal x.15 and x.17 both on locked and unlocked bootloader and even repair with pc companion and result is still same. I can see SONY log, then XPERIA logo and then infinity blue animation to when ROM loading. What can i do? Can it be something wrong with new loader?
Okay, that infinity ROM loading its caused by oxidised connector of proximity sensor. All what you need is clean this or unplug and live without it. On photo bellow is what you need to disconnect.
After installing blisspop (or I don't really remember), I realized that WiFi wasn't working and neither was bluetooth so I decided to flash Extended Stock Kernel kernel, first with flashing the boot, then flashing the zip from recovery mode and even after that, the result was the same. It didn't work. Later on I went to the Phantom kernel's page and flashed that without checking that the kernel was meant for 4.4 and it bricked my device. Now, whenever the phone starts, it shows the Phantom kernel boot at start with its logo without any led light appearing below and due to that I'm unable to go into either flashmode or fastboot. It keeps restarting the Phantom boot at start and doesn't go any further. Please help!
EDIT: A more detailed version that I wrote a few months ago to the kernel's developer.

Previously I had my Xperia L reset on stock ftp then flashed the Extended Stock Kernel on it. Since the wifi wasn't working, I tried to download R17 and flashed it through CWM and now the phone keeps restarting on the Phantom Logo. It shows the logo, waits for about 10 seconds then restarts and the same keeps repeating. I saw it was for Kitkat but then too I insisted on installing. I can't access neither bootloader nor recovery mode. The light which comes when the Phantom Logo pops doesn't appear either. Can you help me please? Anything would be greatly appreciated. I know I did a stupid thing but I really don't want to give up on this device.

Hi guys, please please help me.
I watched the youtube tutorial (Sony Xperia Z3: How to Install Official CyanogenMod 12), i followed all the instructions and was going fine after backing up my
data to the SD card, but when it came to Installing the CM12, it said there was an error for "pullox" and i downloaded the Xperia Tablet Z LTE (Pullox) CM12 files and it
began to load (which i thought was a little weird as why woudlnt it read Z3 CM12 files...)
But then after installing GAPPS, it told me to Reboot System and i accidently clicked back, so i just clicked Restart System manually... (not sure if this makes a difference)
BUT NOW my Z3 is not turning on AT ALL I am seriously panicking as its not displaying anything, the only thing that happens when i try turn on the phone is it quick vibrates
and shows the little Red light in the corner for the vibrate and flashes for a second...then nothing.
I've seen to hold the POWER and Volume Up at the same time but still nothing...i've seen to charge it for 3 hours and try again but i'm seriously worried.
Please help me out, i've seen that I have to FLASH the device afterwards...I hope to g-d it will come on.
Is there anything else I can do, will Flashing help?
Thanks
The system is probably corrupted. Just Download another CM12 zip and flash it.

Also, you can try to:
(Shut off your phone if not already done, by pressing and holding down power+vol+ till it vibrates)
* get flashtool and your stock Rom from xperifirm
* hold down vol - and flash your stock using flashtool (obviously with wiping)
Hi Everyone,
this technically not a problem, because my phone works fine (so far), but i had this before on Xperia Z
while on a normal Stock rom the phone boots normally when recovery installed it shows the green light...etc,
but when i flashed a custom rom recently , a red led light appears with the sony logo (or seconds before) and then disappears and the green recovery led comes on...
everything else except that red light is OK though, i remember on Z this disappeared when i flashed a stock rom with Flashtool,
any idea what it's? and if it's something i should worry about? and if there's someway to fix it without flashing a rom again.
can anyone help with this?

thank you, i ndid dome flashing (flashtool to LP then again to MM) i noticed it happens after i wiped data cache and delvik (i think it's data) ..strange, because i did have this also on z2 (and long time ago on Z) but it only happened if i wiped system... i think it's wipe related, i asked because i think if i flashed something through flashtool (not an entire rom) it might fix it, I'm not sure what....
thanks for the reply
Hello there. I own a Z3 model D6603. It is unlocked bootloader and Before it had got the bootloop i had Lineage OS 16 custom rom installed on it (Android 9). I was watching some videos on chrome and then the phone heated a little and then restarted. I thouhgt it was maybe some sort of instability but then it started just bootlooping.
Current Status right now is :
Once connected to pc goes to flash mode.
I can get it to fastboot.
When connected to charger just goes into endless bootloop where only SONY logo appears and then quickly restarts
In attempt to fix it I flashed stock FTF using multiple versions of Flashtool which was fruitless. I also Tried with EMMA but nothing helped still. And then after looking I think it might be damaged TA and I've seen so many say that if that's the case then the phone is bricked forever unless you have had a backup from a previous working state which I actually do. The problem is that I don't know how to flash this TA back since the phone doesn't boot to restore it through ADB. I saw that S1tool works with older devices and doesn't work with Z3 models so I wonder if there is a way to fix this. Thank you for your time.
PS : My power button doesn't work I used to use fastboot to boot it when necessary
Issues of that kind may be a hint for a dead battery, this should be ruled out first. Note: In that case your phone might not boot even if connected to a charger!
After that is ruled out, one should try to install LineageOS 16 or later following the official installation routine from scratch.
