[Completed] How to extract [boot|cache|recovery|data|system].emmc.win.md5 from TWRP's NandBackup? - XDA Assist

so i've just managed to search for a compatible TWRP Recovery for my Phone [Lenovo A7000-a (Plus)]
and as a basic move in making sure that your device wont completely die whenever you install a faulty rom or app or modifications, you make you first have a complete, or if not is a backup of the important partitions of your android device.
and so i did, since Lenovo A7000-a is powered by a 64-BIT MT6752, it is a little hard to dump it's rom.
i tried using MTK Droid Tool, but as many have told, it isn't updated or configured to work with 64-BIT Processors yet. so i'm left with a frozen window or if not, the phone won't connect at all.
i also tried using adb, but the system and the data partitions always return a bad image (something like the .img files of system and userdata wont be read by SPFT automatically which means there's something wrong with them). i also tried opening the images using ext4unpacker or ext2explore or same utilities, but it really is corrupted
i then tried using SPFT's readback utility, but the boot.img return a bad signature (which i also want to know why or how i can skip the boot.img)
so my last card was to do a Nandroid Backup using TWRP.
but i was surprised to see some xxxxxx.emmc.win.md5 files, which i have never ever seen yet.
so my question is, how can i extract the .img from these guys ?
as you can notice, the data partition has 3 parts, and the system partition has 2 parts
i want to know how i can extract the image files from these things so i can use them for SPFT ??
i hope somebody can help me out here. thank you
Note: The folder just says Lenovo_K3_Note, but the phone is actually Lenovo A7000-a [Plus]

[Q] Is this wise?

Hi everyone, I have a Samsung Galaxy S WIFI 5.0 and when trying to put an apk into the system/apps folder I accidently the apps folder out of the system folder and now it dosn't start. It runs through the boot animation but then displays a black screen playing the force close vibration pattern. But it boots into recovery and download mode fine so I may as well try a factory reset. So I did and still the same. So now all I can do is flash a ROM. And the one that I want: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1689310
Cannot be flashed by Odin but only CMW. So now I have to flash a new kernel to get CMW, This one:
http://www.androidauthority.com/galaxy-player-5-0-s-wi-fi-rj-custom-kernel-overclock-84994/
But is it wise to do this in the state my device is in? And also I don't have usb debugging enabled.
Can You help?
I dont have hardly any experience but from a general from a general idea/thought, why dont you flash the latest official rootable firmware from Samsung, thus succesfully rooting it, install CWM recovery, from there install the rom you were talking about

I know that is the sensible idea but i'm not a one for flashing roms or kernels as I get worried about bricking and I would prefer to do it all at once.

Buut yeah, factory resetting only wipes the /data & the /cache partition, if you don't have stuff in the /system partition it won't start.
Just go to your device's forum, follow the procedure and your phone will be running like butter again ^^
Its almost impossible to hardbrick a Samsung phone ;-)

I feel really silly asking this question cause i'm new to all this you see but what procedure?
Dosn't matter now. Fixed it by installing a different ROM

[Q] Jiayu G4S How to unbrick ?

Hello!
Today I tried to change ROM. But something goes wrong I followed all instructions but apparently I pushed Format + Download now does not want to boot. May be it is bricked.
Everything is installed correctly !

The same problem
Hi, seems to be the same with my phone.
Maybe preloader file is not siutable? I think if I would unthick preloader file while I was trying to flash it would be fine. Maybe we need proper preloader file from factory ROM. Anyone who has original working G4SL 1GB/4GB could do flashable backup using MTK Droid Tools and post it somewhere please? It would probably unbrick our phones. Tutorial and download links here for example http://www.needrom.com/mobile/.....roidtools/ . Thank you in advance….
If no and there is problem with accesing NAND flash... I don't know what we can do...format it? Set proper size somehow?
There was similar problem with MTK6577 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1866962
I tried this SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject but it doesn't load any configuration files...
Some one with ideas, please?
It works!
Hi It was problem with wrong ROMs. Yesterday they release new ROM on needrom + new SP Flash tools and was no problem to install everything It works again.
hi
I have the same problem
Did you make?
I have the same problem. Can anyone help please.
I Have also bricked my Jiayu G4S.
I have tried Flasking latest Rom from NeedRom with Latest SP Flash Tool and also tried other versions from NeedRom but still get this error.
I have a previous backup of working rom on my SD from a Recovery Backup. Can this help in any way.
Phone currently not switching on.
Any Help appreciated.

I'm really sorry to bother the admins here. I've searched a lot over the internet but couldn't find anything that would help me. Please take some time out and guide me. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I'm having this trouble of low internal space [130 MB] in my Qmobile X6. [I've pasted screen caps of the phone HW/SW configurations].

I don't exactly remember how I solved this issue a few years back with my HTC WFS, but I do know that it was solved.
So I searched the internet and saw a video on YouTube about "External 2 internal"
I installed the app and while it prompted me for root, I accidentally tapped on the External to Internal button without setting the app as instructed. :crying:
This has resulted in restructuring of the entire storage space and I can't seem to fix any of that. All i remember was that it showed SDC as this:
But now it shows this:
I know that it has swapped the address, but IDK what the original one was to restore in the first place.
It has created these weird partitions and I can't seem to understand what's wrong with it.
I tried deleting the block folder in root/dev/ but it comes back after boot.
The files inside block are as follows:
I tried factory reset but no help.
Also, it has automatically removed all my linked apps. The link2sd now shows 2 partitions of the same storage space but after every reboot, the l2sd app disappears, and so does all those who get linked to SD.
Hi @sulayemaan. Since you messed up your partitions a factory reset won't help. You might have to flash the stock firmware again. There's no dedicated forum for your device here so try posting your query in:

Nokia Lumia 1320 Bricked Help!

I am a new member and I don't know where the issue will be raised. I am sorry for this.
Hello I bricked my nokia lumia 1320 device for installing wrong software and I cannot fix it. Device stays on black screen and does not react. It appears as "QHSUSB_DLOAD" in device manager.
What should I do? I am not a person who knows very much about codes.
Please help me .

I tried some of the things I found on the internet but didn't work.I tried to fix the problem with Windows Device Recovery Tool, I was able to introduce the device to the Windows Device Recovery Tool program, but after downloading it failed during installation. I tried to do something with the hex and mbn files but still failed.
And unfortunately, the WPinternal program doesn't see the device either.
Please help. This phone has been my dream for a long time and I bought it yesterday. But I could not use it.
P.S:I live in Turkey and I can barely understand English. I would be very happy if you explain it in simple sentences.
Wondering what has caused you to make a 1-day-old "dream phone" unusable? What ( wrong ) software have you installed? To me it seems phone is booted in DOWNLOAD mode: hence the black screen.
I tried to unlock the bootloader of the device with the WPinternals program.
While unlocking the bootloader, I uploaded the ffu extension file to the program. I uploaded the file named Loaders, but I did not upload the sbl3 file and tried to unlock the device.
The loading screen came up, but then remained on a black screen and the device did not react at all.
There is no reaction on the device right now. Sound is heard from the computer only while connecting.
