No. At least not yet anyway.

Yes I'm willing to donate to development of this phone. I know developers have other responsibilities and need. Beer. I'm happy to help by buying beer.

Just received this, not sure what it patched though.

Same here. Does anyone have any idea as to its contents?
I feel like I don't want to install these just in case there is a chance at root. But I'm being foolish I think.

I feel the same. I wish I had never accepted the OTAs on my replacement. Less "security" = more chance to root.

Good afternoon, I was wondering if there is a way to root the sprint note 7 already? I am new to rooting and I really just want to use the app wifi tether router. I've looked into youtube but I haven't seen any videos of rooting the note 7 I can trust. Any help will be appreciated thank you!
There is no method to root yet. I would give it a few months till they find a reliable method to root and unroot.

What do you mean unlock? Like to use on another carrier? I thought Sprint devices couldn't work on other carriers?

I'd like this as well. It's a good cheap tablet really. I believe I read that it uses a MediaTek processor, which might be part of the reason it's not been done yet. Not to say that means it's harder or anything. Just not as common a thing as say an ARM processor. Also I could be completely wrong. Just seems like a thing I read somewhere.

It's not available for T-Mobile yet. Don't do this or you risk bricking your device

Jody breeze is right. The only why this would work is if we had a nougat kernel for the tmobile note5. Unfortunately we don't have one. Another issue is that the bootloader is from a different country and would probably brick our phone if we flash it with odin.
