To All The Developers Out There, Please guide me in changing Mac address of Snapdragon Processor. Until now the only snapdragon devices which are capable of changing Mac address are one plus and nexus devices and that too with the support of Nethunter system running on them.
PLEASE EVERYONE ACCEPT THIS HAS A CHALLENGE AND FIND A SOLUTION TO THIS.

Hi Mr.Jlu
Thanks for the information supplied.
I would invite you to address your request onto the below forum as our experts there should be able to tackle it:
Moto E Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
I would only suggest you to address your request as a feature development that everybody could profit and not as a challenge. That may not be appreciated by the developers. Indeed, big letters and CAPS LOCK could be interpreted as yelling and not much receptive.
Nice regards, good luck and mainly, have fun.
.

Hi Mr.Jlu
We have a GRAN Section for overall Android Development at
Android Development and Hacking
I would suggest you to start your inquiring using the below forum and, as your knowledge grows, you could address more advanced ones:
Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Unfortunately, at the moment, we do not have a per-processor specific forum.
Nice regards and good luck.

Its ARMv7 architecture. It could be known by using Quadrant Benchmark app.
thanks

If you are looking to build custom Kernel, then you can download your device-specific kernel sources from Samsung developer website. Identify sources with your Model Name.
I guess Galaxy Grand is using Broadcom chipset, but not sure. To identify chipset type Qualcomm starts by the name MSMxxxxx and Mediatek by MTKxxxx etc.
Use this.
you can download app to get details.
You can download application from play store

General specs:
google "TwinTAB T73GQ1 specifications"
on the site and also on the retail box, the clock speed is @ 1.5 GHz
but Hardware Info reports:
Twin TAB T73GQ1
Android version 4.2.2
Kernel version - 3.4.5
MKT 8389, Quad core arm V7 processor max freq 1.2 GHz (cpu-z reports same max clock speed)
Gpu - POWER VR SGX 544 MP (this also mismatches with "Neon 3D" which is on the site in the GPU field; in specifications section)
See the issue yet? 1.2 GHz and 1.5 GHz has considerable effects in performance (in my opinion). That is the reason why i want to overclock my device to at least 1.5 GHz . . . . at least. I've rooted my phone, did some few noob level kernel tweaks( i still consider myself a noob ). I know that i need to flash a custom, open source kernel, to actually enable OC . . . . . . and that's where i need some help ,I don't know which kernel to flash. I am also aware of the CyanogenMod ; but guess what, my device is not on the supported list. I didn't take the risk to "install it anyway" or manually .
please help? :fingers-crossed:
Thanks!
excuse me if I sound weird or inappropriate by any means .. I'm new here in XDA and did't acheive a good grade in o'level English.
Hi,
I believe you created a Visitor question on this earlier? Either way, I can not find anything relevant on XDA for your device. Chances are the only way you'll see any development for this device is if you learn to develop yourself unfortunately.
You can ask here if anyone knows of anything at all,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
And if Google search has nothing on this, then it likely means there's nothing. That's the pitfalls of more obscure devices unfortunately.
Good luck!

Oh... And never install anything not made for your exact device, or you'll likely destroy it.
The answer to the visitor question seemed inadequate at first . . . hoped to find more as an xda member;and i did
Thanks Darth

Everything works perfectly on the alternative firmware with the exception of the remote control. anyone have any ideas ?

Can't find anything about the exact device you have.
Here is something about a similar Android Box: Rooting Mele M5 Android TV Box.
If this doesn't help, you may ask in the General discussion > Questions and Answers forum.
Good luck !
You totally missed the subject of the ?
Unfortunately that article is about rooting, I am already rooted. All I want to do is take the files that map the keys for the IR Remote control from one firmware and transplant them to another. I am trying to locate where the files are located in the firmware.

I linked the only thread about a Mele Android Box that I found on xda.
And I said, that you should post your question in the Q&A forum I linked in my previous answer too.
If I had found a thread about your question, I would have posted its link. Unfortunately I can't find such a thread on xda.
I'm just pointing to the best places to get help, as I am not an expert for all questions asked in here.
Thanks for your understanding.
Thread closed and thank you.

Hello Jas, and welcome to XDA!
I may have found a thread that matches your model:
> Android Auto > Android Head Units > HuiFei - 2 DIN Pure Android 4.2.2/4.4.2/4.4.4 RK3066/RK3188 CarStereo Radio Head Unit
Be sure to check it out - if the details you can further ascertain match, please go ahead and register for an account, and then add a post to that thread explaining your predicament.
If things don't look the same, can always start a thread in the parent forum (Android Head Units) and explain your predicament there (with as much details as possible regarding specifications, any modifications done thus far, and anything that may have lead to the device not booting up).
Hope this helps, and good luck!
firstly im sorry if i opened this topic in wrong section but i had to.
there is no developer support for this phone. only bigrammy ported a recovery and thats it. it has 8 core and its an awesome device but it has no rom support. even trash GMD nor gionee e life 3 has more support than c5...
we people more than 15k+ want a rom/roms to try out such as cm or miui. i tried so hard to find a developer but they all said they dont have time...
if anyone makes or ports rom for this awesome device, we appreciate it so much. even people will donate.
here are the specs
System chip: MediaTek
Model:MT6752
Processorcta-core, 1700 MHz, ARM Cortex-A53, 64-bit
