Can someone upload the stock Visual Voicemail app for AT&T from the S7? Or tell me how I can get it from the phone myself?
Thanks

I'm trying to figure out a way using ODIN to where I can update my stock ATT unlocked captivate to Tmobile Vibrant Froyo. I've read that there is a fix for the wifi calling
Am I able to jump from 2.1 to Tmobiles Vibrant Froyo using ODIN?
If so, how to do?

Nope, asking for the perfect recipe for instant-brick.
Why would you do that anyways?
sent from my Pinnacle Powered Captivate
IIRC, packages for stock Froyo harken from the age where bootloaders were cooked into everything. Flashing incorrect bootloaders is asking for trouble.
Plus, just flash some other ROM for WiFi calling.
I'm having troubles using kies to upgrade to 2.2 froyo. Spoke with tech support and live chat so many times. Followed instructions but still couldn't get it to update.
I'm on T-mobile and really need the wifi calling feature. I thought maybe I'd be able to install T-mobiles version of 2.2 froyo from their Samsung Vibrant on my unlocked Captivate.
Please instruct me on what I should do first? Or is there is a better solution, please advise.
I really like the Captivate and would like to get it to go!
Thanks,
Manny

Not 100% true because you can now get bootloader free stock flash packages on this forum.....
But generally, I think this OP is looking at a bad idea.......What to you mean WiFi calling? If you want VoIP, then there are captivate ROMs that are worth looking at that have this feature turned back on.
Good luck !
Try installing the the Kineto.apk. I removed it from my Tmobile Optimus as I am a prepaid user and have no use of it. I replace it with google voice (free outgoing call via Wifi).
If you need the apk file, let me know. It may or may not work.

To find the .apk, just download one of the AT&T Roms and extract it from there using win zip or 7zip. The iPhone have VVoicemail so Rogers has the system in place...just hope the .apk doesn't rely on anything else on the phone to work (connect) with the Rogers network.
Let us know how it goes.
Can anyone provide the stock apk for Android Voicemail? Apparently the ROM I'm using doesn't have it included :/ I'll be forever grateful.
Nobody?

I couldn't find the stock one from your phone/ROM but this app may be similar. Try it and let me know
I appreciate it. I'll check it out in a few and let you know if it worked!
I'm using an unlocked s8+ on Sprint network. Everything works include Wi-Fi calling. But I didn't get any update for call plus like Sprint version did.
Is there any way to add call plus on unlocked s8+? Hope I don't have to flash Sprint firmware.
Thanks

According to seawolf, the Sprint Community Manager:
"Only Sprint phones will get CallingPLUS because that's our product, not Samsung's."

Just for updates, I flashed Sprint firmware and been using the call plus feature - I like it.
The only problem is I can't dial certain numbers, like #CHP or #NHP.

I just flashed my phone with Sprint firmware. Are you supposed to get the Sprint splash screen? I didn't.....I cant find the Calling Plus setting. Where is it?
PS. Just checked....no internet while on a call. So, not working, why?
