Hello all, I have a frustrating issue. I cannot seem to purge the weather widget from my lock screen. It's some sort of widget that auto-rotates the screen to portrait and provides a slide-out tab that displays my local weather (screenshot attached is with the tab slid out). It only started appearing recently (never had this happen before), however I don't know what triggered it. There are no lock screen system settings that allow me to enable or disable anything but the clock. I have removed every weather app from my device (even the stock app). I even froze TouchWiz (I use ADW instead) thinking that might have caused it. No dice.
So what app/widget is this and how do I get rid of it? Thanks in advance.

Just got HTC One X today and immediately updated to JB. After installing my apps and setting it up, I noticed that certain widgets would disappear from my home screen (Nova Launcher) and from lock screen (WidgetLocker). Only certain widgets - Battery Widget Reborn, Power Toggles, Smooth Calendar. After a reboot, they show up as grey boxes and I would have to tap and setup the widget again. Also noticed that SwiftKey would no longer be set as default keyboard and I would have to disable/re-enable to be able to choose it again.
Messed around and it's the same behavior with the stock launcher but with that, they the widgets just disappear altogether.
I did a system erase and pretty much nothing installed, same behavior. I've played with every setting to see if that had an effect but no different.
Has anyone encountered this or have any ideas on what's going on?

I recently got the AT&T OTA Lollipop upgrade. Everything is fine, but I have an app that rotates my wallpapers from an RSS feed. The problem is I use my phone at work, and some of the wallpapers can be NSFW.
Is there a way to make the lock screen completely opaque, not just translucent which lets people see my wallpaper? Or better yet, is there a way to set the lollipop lock screen background to something completely different to hide the phone's wallpaper?
I tried different lock screen apps, but that made me have to unlock my phone twice. I rooted and switched to Cyanogenmod 12, but it didn't do what I want it to do either. Any help?
Hello Everyone, I'm having a strange issue with the flashlight widget on the Galaxy S5 Active (Model SM-G870A, Android 5.0, Baseband G870AUCU2BOF3), wanting to know if anyone else had/has these problems or if any of you know a solution.
FlashLight Issue
Basically I put the widget for the stock flashlight on my home page, it works just fine, but I noticed that the pull down notification labeled "Flashlight turned on - Tap here to turn off Flashlight." doesn't... turn it off! When pressed from the lock screen (and once the lock code is entered) It simply unlocks the phone to wherever you were. If its pressed in an app, it simply swipes the notification tab back up. The main reason this is annoying is because having the ability to toggle the light from the lock screen could be very handy instead of entering my lock code again to turn it off.
Background Issue
The issue here is at seemingly random times, my wallpaper on the lock screen will appear heavily warped or distorted, usually vertically, until i unlock the phone. Its not so much an issue as it is an annoyance. If anyone has information on this issue or have a solution, let me know.
Hey guys i cant seem to be able to change my lockscreen on my s7 running nougat. I installed acDisplay and it worked but would then go to the samsung lockscreen. Any one know how to disable or change it. On other phones there was an option for this in default apps this phone doesnt have this.

I have a related question: I have an app that changes my wallpaper every day, but it doesn't change the lock screen wallpaper. In previous android phones there was a setting to have the lock screen be whatever the home screen is, how do I accomplish this on Galaxy S7?

Yesterday I restarted my phone. When it rebooted I noticed that some settings had changed (navigation key layout, battery icon...) and my previously hidden apps were now on my homescreen. When I tried to hide them again I discovered that I can no longer access the hidden apps screen. Does anyone know what might have caused this? And is there a way I can reactivate the hidden apps screen?

Hidden apps does not work with drawer screen style.
check if drawer style is active.
No, it's still on standard screen style. I tried switching between the two but it didn't help.
