The patched apk is for mobile but the patching process is done on a pc.

It was never taken out but just disabled. @lorantm provided us the tool to get it back. But yes, this has the messaging app in the fb app like it used to.

If it crashes on the patched version, it would also crash on the official version.
The patcher only modifies the messaging part of the app.

Hello everyone, my YouTube app isnt working. I get 'connection to server lost, touch to try again' since version 5.17.6 now I installed 6.0.11 still the same error message. Older version works perfectly fine. What am I doing wrong. I'm on 4.3 stock rom i9300 and when I installed cm 11 M12 build it worked but as soon as I reverted to stock the error message starts again. What can I do please?

Hi!
I've created a module which should fix the crash occurring when one has location service enabled and opens Tapatalk.
The module does not contain any user interface, just enable it, reboot and Tapatalk shouldn't crash again.
It works by disabling (i.e. replacing) some methods to make sure that the methods responsible for the crash does not run.
The module is uploaded to the xposed repo under the name "Tapatalk fix for H2OS Oneplus 2".
If you experience a "Unfortunately, com.oneplus.permissionutil has stopped. ", just reboot your device and it should be fine.

Thanks for letting me know. I updated the module to include support for the CNN app (which is also affected by this "bug") and at the same time I, since it was no longer only a fix for Tapatalk, renamed the application. Because the module now had a new package name I could not just update the module, so I tried to delete it from the repo but the website gave me an error and thus I did not think it got deleted correctly.
I'll update the repo (and this post) later on today.

As far as I can understand, Facebook uses arm7 till Android 7.0 and arm64 from Android 8.0, as app architecture. If I had to support Android 7 or below, I will probably have to release 2 versions - one for arm7 and one for arm64. No promises, but I will try if I get enough time

Anything between V10Q and V12Q, I am testing 10, 11 and 12 to see which yields best performance and battery.
V12 is now removed and I have taken the commits from V11 and V12 and made a new V11 build. Now we are testing between V10 and the new V11

Nevermind . On V12 and my phone won't load Netflix , Hulu, Tidal On the first try . I go in the logs and it tells me something about the touch wait times not being correct. I have force close or even restart my phone and let it sit to fully load everything on my phone so my apps will work. Never happened with any kernel besides this. Can give logcat but I use liveboot . Not experienced so idk if thats good enough to get a good logcat from. Flame BTW
