[bootanimation] - Porting Various bootanimations to note with amplified sound

I am porting various bootanimations for galaxy note, so that the images are full screen and maintains the correct aspect ratio.
Flash using CWM from recovery or use CWM flashupdate.zip and select the file!

1. Download and push the bootanimation.zip to system/media and set the permissions to rw-r-r--
2. Download and Push the poweron.wav to system/etc
3. Reboot and enjoy!

Copy the sound file even in /etc apart from system/etc, then reboot

Does not make sense, is same folder, etc ore system/etc. Dud not work. Tried rename the sound in power.ogg but also not work. Aninations works. Thanks.

Beats Audio boot animation for Galaxy Note
Can anyone help me to recreate this bootanimation of Beats Audio from HTC? I cant make it to work for my Galaxy Note. Someone please.

Note: this app will work on any phone having gingerbread rom installed in it (custom/stock etc) not tested on ICS or JB.

Installation Instruction:
(Manual Method)
1. Download the gtalk.zip and extract it

Note: after extracting the zip there will 2 folders goto system folder and you will find 2 more folders 1. APP & 2. Lib. Firstly open up app folder and copy talk.apk then follow step no.2
2. Now goto system/app and make the backup of "talk.apk" and paste the extracted one from the zip
3. Now change the ownership & properties as shown below
Now goto the lib folder extracted from zip and copy the content it contains and head straightly to system/lib folder
4. Now copy and paste the file from zip's folder to system/lib and change its ownership and properties as well shown below
If you follow the instrctions as discribed you will surely get this app working!
You can also flash this zip file from recovery but it doesnt worked for me thats why i explained the manual method for you!
Note: if the app dissapears just reboot and then it should be appeared!

[HDPI][BOOT ANIMATION] HTC Change

This is a direct port from my version on the desire hd, meaning there could be problems; however it's been tested by me on a sensation and it's fine :laugh: Because it works on all HDPI Devices

The htc change ending as seen in the htchange final movie (source). There are 2 versions: Looped and Unlooped.

If it's too slow for you just change the fps in desc.txt but it should be ok
And before downloading, backup your previous boot animation by renaming it from bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.old
Instructions (htc rom)
1) Download the boot animation (rename it to bootanimation.zip if needed)
2) Download root explorer
3) Open root explorer
4) Browse to system/customise/resource <-- This will be different if not on a sense rom
5) Rename bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.old
6) Browse to the location you have saved the file
7) Copy the file to system/customize/resource
8) Make sure the permissions is set to rw r r
9) Reboot :laugh:

By excess you mean the animation is small or its the description is too embellished

phone (you can use USB cable or FTP
remote manager or etc)
in your phone go to your file manager with
root access (I use Root Explorer)
move jarvis.mp4 file to /system/media

When I use this Howto and reboot the phone, nothing happens as in that I don't see that bootanimation, just the standard Oppo logo boot animation. So I think some steps are missing.
- How to use it :
* put the jarvis.mp4 file some where in your (the file i downloaded was called start.mp4) phone (you can use USB cable or FTP remote manager or etc)
* in your phone go to your file manager with root access (i use Root Explorer)
* move jarvis.mp4 file to /system/media and change permissions To rw- r-- r--
* Reboot phone.

How????? I thought Droid Maxx 2 didn't have root!!!

Ive checked here and a couple other places for 2 weeks...I'm guessing this phone isnt important enough to be rooted by the Super Geniuses...bummer, I thought it had potential

So this guy - Ydriod/YdroidExpo - is a senior member and gave us something that requires a root to a non rootable phone and when questioned about it doesn't answer?
What kind of forum is this?
