USB Diagnose mode/engineering mode - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
It seems impossible for me to activate the USB diagnose mode on the oneplus one. I am trying to follow this guide but i don't even get the to see two devices under the other devices menu. It worked when my oneplus one was on Android 4.4 but since 5.0 this tutorial doesn't work for me and it fails because I cannot get into the usb diagnose mode.:/ Link to tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/guide-unlock-aditional-bands-qualcomm-t2877031 (I fail at step 4-5)
I would really appreciate any help or comments as I don't know what to do and feel a bit lost.
Thanks in advance!

Help with Locked Proscan PLT-7035-PL Factory Restore.

Hello everyone and well I have to say I am at my wits end over here.
I have literally just spent hours trying to find the solution without luck. So any help will be greatly appreciated.
I am completely new to android as well and this only makes things much more worse.
I have a Proscan PLT-7035 a cheap tablet by all means and my son accidentally locked the screen under too many password attempts.
I have been trying to factory restore it only to learn this Chinese hardware apparently was not shipped with a recovery option.
This means I cannot put it under USB debugging and I cannot disable mount the mass storage device. So when I connect it to my computer I am able to access all the files but that is it. Honestly it is the biggest 4G usb stick I have ever owned.
Anyway I have tried multiple guides to root and what not as well as I tried multiple button combinations to no avail. It also seems I am able to enter recovery mode by clicking the power button + volume down after shutting the device.
You can hear the sounds in windows of a device being connected and disconnected. There was also an uninstalled driver when i checked Device manager. This is how I was ultimately able to install the drivers as per this guide
It now shows under Android Device as Android Composite ADB Interface.
Now I have tried using Rockchip Batch Tool but It also gets stuck on <Layer 3-3> Test Device Start.
I have tried ICS Root Unlocker and I get error :device not found.
I try adb devices and no devices are listed.
My device is clearly not being detected and I do not know if this is due to driver incompatibility or due to the fact I cannot set the device to USB debugging.
I already disabled driver signature enforcement I'm on Win8Enterprise N x64.
Now someone here was kind enough to upload these and I have absolutely no idea. How to install them or have them run.
So you all can see I've been almost everywhere and in all honesty I have no idea what to do next.
Any lleads will be Godsend. Thanks in advance.
Please let me know if this is in the wrong category. Thanks

Nexus 5 - Screen shattered, need to enable USB debugging

Hello,
I shattered the screen on my N5. I need to pull off some valuable information, however I never enabled USB debugging.
I was reading there is a way to sideload a ROM with the USB debugging option ticked.
Also: The only way I can tell my phone works is that there is still a small vibe when I hold the power button.
So far I have downloaded Android Studio to get started trying to access my phone. Need some advice. Thanks,
jonny

There's a general guide about adb: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/noob-read-adb-fastboot-how-hep-t2807273
BTW you do not need Android Studio.

s6 not connecting to windows

Hi all, I have been having a problem for the longest time now. My s6 refuses to connect to any pc. My first laptop had windows 7 on it and the s6 would successfully connect to it. That laptop is no more and i upgraded to a new one with win 10 installed on it. This laptop along with 2 others windows 7 completely refuses to connect to my phone. I think i have tried every "solution" but nothing works. My phone is rooted with a custom rom and the fast charge also refuses to work. I need to be able to connect to windows so i can reinstall the original firmware for a warranty exchange. Yes, i have all sumsung drivers installed, i have the original cable (and more), i tried smart switch, it still doesn't work. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Go to: Settings -> About Phone -> Tap on the build number 7 times to enable Developer Options -> Go to Developer Options and enable USB-Debugging
Now try connecting it to your PC

can someone please help me sort this out? I have tried numerous methods to get the phone to connect, all of which has been unsuccessful. Everyone knows the struggle of not being able to connect to windows.. thanks in advance.
The problem could be the USB port on the phone. Or the data / charging cable may be faulty.
Try download Shortcut master lite from playstore, run secret code explorer in it, then code 0808, and set AP and MTP+ADB to see phone as disk in windows, this helped me, hope it will help you.

Bootloader

Hello everyone
I've recently got an LG Q6 M700N, and I'm trying to root it, but I've came across a problem. Whenever I type in adb reboot bootloader, the phone simply reboots to the system. It won't go into bootloader. Have any of you encountered this issue? Can you give me a fix or a workaround? Developer options are ON, OEM Unlock is ON, drivers are installed, tried with multiple USB ports on my PC, adb sees the device in debug mode.
Thanks in advance!
If I've posted in the wrong thread: My bad! Sorry.

Help with LMX210HM (LG K9)

Hi, im using a LMX210HM Device (SW:X210HM10D), which i cannot unlock. I have tried many programs like Z3X (cracked), Adb programs, KingORoot, etc.
Also, i was following (trying) the instructions over here:
Got Usb debug on, Oem unlock on, Auto-updates off, a fresh factory reset (via hidden menu code), and last but not least adb drivers, LG drivers, Android studio drivers too.
Can anyone help me find this out or guide me? It's my first android experience lol
regards and thanks.
PD: I had read that i could do a downgrade, what's that about and how could i do it?
