Hello!
Sorry for my bad english in advance!
Im a new OnePlus One user and just bought an SG S5 for my brother too.
We have done an Antutu test. Oneplus One: 47k SGS5: 57k
How does it possible ? Same CPU , i have 3GB Ram (SGS5 has 2GB)
He did better CPU and RAM points.
In additional I realised that i have some issues in some games after I installed CM13. Horrible... One day after I bought it (before flashing the rom) it worked better!
Is it possible to being some performance issues with my phone? Do I need to install any other Roms or sg. ?
Thank you for helping me in advance!!

Just stop compete phones with benchmarks, because they don't say anything about a phone. As long as the phone runs smooth and fast, why should you care about?
To answer your question:
Try it with Resurrection Remix ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/rom-ressurrection-remix-m-t3270147
use this gapps: http://opengapps.org/ (choose arm - 6.0 - then your preferred size (compare the sizes here: https://github.com/opengapps/opengapps/wiki/Package-Comparison))
use latest recovery twrp: https://dl.twrp.me/bacon/twrp-3.0.2-0-bacon.img.html (flash it via the app "flashify" or via fastboot)
if you have problems with gps or mobile data, download the latest cm13 nightly first (https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=bacon) and flash it with the new recovery, after that you can wipe again and flash resurrection remix
summary:
first flash the new recovery (if you don't already have it), boot to recovery, then wipe dalvik cache, cache, data and system, (recommended: flash newest cm13 nightly with the new recovery before resurrection remix, wipe system after it) flash resurrection remix, flash gapps, reboot and enjoy
if there's something you don't understand then feel free to ask

Hello fine gentlemen, it's been a good ride. As a complete noob i remember i started this whole rooting thing around 5 months ago when i was absolutely desperate because of the touch issues by this phone, that's when the new kernel arrived with the infamous 20150515 cm12.1 nightly and i finally was able to enjoy my OPO on it's full glory again. But now after these months of flashing nightly after nightly i'm just tired, tired of random bugs, reboots, tints, etc., which obviously don't diminish the amazing rom that this is and are things that i acknowledge come naturally with nightly releases (to point out i'm not complaining at all). I just want to flash something stable so i don't have to worry about these minor things even if i miss new fresh features, so this lead to these couple of questions that i would appreciate any of you can help me with:
1. what is the best latest stable rom for OPO right now ? be it CM, COS, Oxygen, etc whatever i don't care, i only care that it is stable and come with the touch fix kernel
2. or should i wait for a marshmallow stable rom ? (i've read marshmallow is way more polished than lollipop, smoother and consumes less battery)
3. what (extra) steps should i take to flash the suggested rom ? is it as simple as i have been doing with the nightlies (just download zip, reboot in recovery, flash zip, clear cache and reboot again) ?
thanks in advance for the help people !!
Sultan's CM12.1.
I'm using EXODUS , very stable and a lot of different features.
Exodus here too. Sultians is very nice too.
Using Sultan's cm 12.1. Runs smoothly and almost bug free in my opo
Sultan's CM12.1 or ResurrectionRemix
Stock SlimSaber or Slimsaber caf. Check out the slimsaber threads for flashing details.
Hi,
I know that this is going to be a very subjective question, but can anyone suggest a super slick Rom for my Motorola 4G LTE?
I tried CyanogenMod but did not fair to well with it - some lag and increased battery usage.
I really need something super lightweight and prefer function over nice looks.
It seems that three of the best contenders for this phone are Carbon, Paranoid Android and SlimKat - can anyone perhaps point me the direction of which one to use (or indeed suggest anything even better)?
Thanks very much.

roms which you suggested above their, development has been stopped mostly or has been inactive for 9-10 months. You may try Resurrection Remix rom .

If you find there is lag or battery drain flash hurtsky kernel

CM 12.1 is very slim, if you just use the smallest package for gapps.
greetings
Thank you both for that - I might have to try both suggestions and see which works best for me. (I am currently using CM 13, which might be the reason I am having problems).
It is very interesting that abhi0502 has mentioned flashing the Kernel - this is something I was not even aware of until now.
How does flashing a Kernel and flashing the ROM tie in with each other? I always thought that a new ROM would automatically provide its own version of the kernel.

yes it has own kernel but if battery and performance is not good as expected you can flash kernel (that is the reason i have rooted the phone.) You can flash kernel with cm13 currently and see if performance improves. But its always recommend for clean flash (Rom+kernel+gapps) to avoid errors
Just wanted to pop back on here and say thanks for the advice above.
I did try flashing the kernel as suggested but it kept causing my phone to randomly reboot - although it did not work well for me on this particular occasion, I shall definitely start experimenting with other kernel's in the future.
As suggested I wiped and reinstalled Resurrection Remix with the smallest version of gapps and not only is my phone massively more responsive, but the battery improvements are really noticeable.
Thanks again.
Hey guys,
I flashed resurrection remix on my mi4i yesterday,
Its lagging a lot, it lags during typing, to open any app, pulling the notification panel, sometimes even during the boot animation. Somewhat same happened when I flashed CM14 before coming to RR. Approximately 500mb ram is free everytime, I don't know which apps are using so much of my ram. Also the battery is draining faster than before. Will this issue be solved if I flash a new kernel? Like sensei?Any help would be appreciated.
Hi !
I see that you`ve got your answer here and you must post custom rom related questions in the rom thread or in the Q&A section of your device
If that rom is no longer supported you can move onto another one or revert to stock
Good luck !
Friends, I'm in doubt on which ROM to install .... after a lot of research, I was between Pixel Experience Plus, Havoc 3.4, crDroid 6.5 and LineageOS 17.1. I want stability for daily use and light games, the most demanding is Darkness Rises. If you have any suggestions other than the ROMS I have listed, please suggest it. Sorry if I messed up because I'm using a translator. :cyclops:
P.S.: My Note 6 is 3gb RAM version.

Yes MIUI actually has way more useful features than these "pixel ROMs". Also some has really bad battery life compared to stock.
My note 6 has bugs in ever ROM I have flashed.... Cr Droid, Pixel Plus, Havoc, Lineage.... currently with MIUI 12 20.5.7 who slows chrome, instagram, whatsapp and when I use Uber, the screen blinks and I cant do anything until the driver accepts the race. Ever ROM I wipe Dalvik, data, system, internal... i tried Mystic Kernel but problems continues. I do not wipe sd card, who is formated to internal storage. What I doing wrong?
Take latest lineage. Is fast as hell :fingers-crossed:
There is no such thing as the best rom. Try it all and find the best one for you.
Hello everyone,
Which ROM would you recommend for SM-G920F,
My plan is to root my phone and install the best ROM currently available as the original one started to be very slow and laggy, there is so many of them on the forum, which one would be the best?
Thanks!

There are so many. I suggest for my experience here I have tested out few, most of them are invalid
Try (Enezusun2002 build 28 February LineageOs multitarget 17,1) with that i have no problem.
Many have tried to install newer out there last one I've downloaded I forgot where I download it from it has home signature I don't know if it their own build or someone else
If you need his ota just search ota on enez github
Is the LineageOs a new version of CyanogenMod?
How good is camera?
I remember few years ago, not original camera app was very poor on CyanogenMod, how is this one on GALAXY S6 in this LineageOs ROM?

install magisk and hktweaks app
and turn on only 1 big cpu core and 1 small core it will save battery but slower
