Hey anyone know what the new update is? Or is it literally just a security patch?

Wait or flash US retail.
Will being rooted with custom kernel and recovery stop me receiving the update?

might not stop you receiving it but you won't be able to install it.
You won't receive the uk version yet anyway, it hasn't been released.
Hi guys, I have an OPO bought from China and flashed CM11s over ColorOS. My question is: will my device get OTA CM12S or should I just go for the manual update?

It will probably update eventually, but there is no difference if you download and flash it manually.
Alright thanks a lot, I'll give it another month or so

Hello everyone. I get this error after I hit the update. Is it because I'm rooted?
Anyone else having this problem?

Dude, can your question be any more vague? No one can answer you with so little information.

What else am I to say other than I am stock rooted? But I think it's clearly because the system folder is corrupted. I just wanted to confirm myself. But in other occasions I got updates while being rooted with no problems.

You can't patch a modified system partition. You have to flash it from the factory image.

The other thread has reports of FoxFi working after the update. I'm still waiting for more info before I update.

I don't know, but now the security patch date is 9-1-2016, so that's good. It's now newer than my v10
