Motorola Camera & Gallery on GPE

I was wanting to know if anyone had managed to get the Motorola Camera & Gallery working on the GPE firmware ?
I've tried installing the apk's from the phone internal storage and also restoring backups of them using Titanium Backup,
but i always get errors whenever i go to use them.

After the photo has been taken it says "unfortunately camera has stopped" or something along those lines.
I just removed it there with Titanium Backup.

Maybe some lib files are missing

Well I've decided finally that i prefer the Motorola firmware that then GPE firmware,
so i will be moving back to it anyway.

Or maybe its the optimisations by Moto ..the ones they talked about in launch and how moto g outperforms a s4 in multiple basic things
They just transferred a Lot of expensive R & D done for moto x to the lill Moto G...and its a good thing so far

Mainly it's just the camera but i also don't like using Hangouts for messaging.
I know i can install the normal one from the Play Store but it doesn't get themed correctly whenever i apply custom themes.
If someone did get the motorola camera working with it then i would probably switch.

I've said to hell with it, and decided to test out CM11 on the Moto G, if i'm not happy with it, then i'll move to the GPE ROM

here i am again:laugh: this time with a nice lg-camera for our note3
i tested it and its working on my note running temasek cm11
its has lots of options and as far as i came playing with it, almost everything is working
if something is not please let me know,ill place it in the "not working section"

Change DPI on camrea app to 480 and it will fit screen...

On My Exynos note 3,
- video recording does not work (force closes app)
- panorama, VR panorama, does not work (force closes app)\
- burst shot, dual camera and time catch shot make the app unresponsive. have to close out by swiping from recent apps menu and start again.
all the other stuff seems to be working fine.
Any Ideas why i might be facing these issues?

edit : forgot to add, im rooted, running Criskelo 4.4.2 rom v07 with Halaszk Kernel 0.14B.. maybe this is the problem????

cant tell,im cm11 rom but is a port working per rom is different..using it daily and is working just great

you shouldnt replace or delete the stock camera,these camera are just fun to have and ofcourse can be used as daily camera s but
they are all ported so they all have their pro en cons..
i use the mot.apk for taking quick shots its very fast and easy to control
the lg and the lenova are more advanced and both have some nice features/options
i would say just try..iv installed them all and also using them all for their specific options

i have no idea...never use camera s from the playstore especially no paid ones..
not to disrespect the dev but i don like the irrirating pop up every time:this is a free version go buy the pro in the playstore..

To Replace Sound ,
1. Download files ( Sound Pack )
2. Download Root Explorer
3. Copy and Replace all UI Sounds to the folder system/media/audio/ui
4. Again , Navigate to the same location and press select all
5. Go to the menu and choose per missions
6. Change permissions from 0666 to 0664
7. Finally Reboot and Enjoy sweet sounds

I don't know buddy but I tried this on OrionOS it worked.

I was able to fix this using this steps
1.Erase all ogg files
2.I flash a zip filename called 5 . sounds.zip that I found on this website
3.reboot
4.Now I see new ogg files and these new files I am able to use your procedure as you describe on your thread
I don't know why but it works, the Es flash sounds I can rename them and even delete them the originals ones I was able only to move them.

U can try however if it boots just backup your current system first

As I thought. It's most likely due to camera libraries and apk itself that cause this. Also that it has dual settings config in build prop
Easiest way to check this is to do a diff view with diffmerge to check what libraries are different. Also I guess hw lib file is different too which cause this now I can't check this due to no pc yet (vacation) and the pc we have is a old work pc from my dad which I have to Re install in order to use. And it isn't done yet. I'll look into it next week. But if u wanna do it yourself @philipped346 download both firmwares or backup system of stock and this. And pull to pc and extract to two different folders and use diffmerge to check differences

Also the lite version will have removed update app and some Google stuff and removed stock ugly file manager, maybe some mods if I have time to look into it this week else it'll be in the end of next week a lite version will come. We'll see ill try disable some unnecessary features on clean install which should be possible like disable touch sound which is rather annoying.

I tried to open on PC browser and sends to an invalid adress. On phone, when i try to open link it sends me straight to telegram and tells the group does not exist.
