[Completed] What are BUD files? - XDA Assist

I apologize if this is the wrong section.
When it is connected to a computer, I can find on my ASUS tablet Android 4.4.2 in “Internal storage” (as opposed to storage on removable microSD) a File Folder named BUD. It contains five files with names all very similar to this one:
d-1_1461033380476.med2.gz
They all are between 10 and 20 kb small.
What are they and can I delete them?
Thank You, Volland

Hello,
Which Asus tablet?

Thanks.
It is a K01A, but as far as I can tell this stuff did appear after the installation of Clean Master, which I use because Purify could not be installed.
The FIles are not very large, but I prefer to have nothing on the tablet that I do not need, and certainly nothing that I did not out there myself in the first place.
Th problem is that ccleaner is good for a PC on a tablet, it is a joke....

I did not know there is such a thread, and since almost two years, maybe it would be a good idea to somehow make the xda search engine find it when one looks for an ASUS tablet thread???
Thanks

[Completed] Asus Fonepad 7 ME372CL K00Y "Can't open the APD image file"

Hi I try to debrick my fonepad after an update gone wrong under low bat.
I dowloaded the original firmware from ASUS website TW_V5.5.0
But when I try to flash it from the SD card or with SDK
It always tell me that it can't find open the APD image file.
But on the bright side RAW file seem to do the job, my only problem is to find a RAW matching firmware.
So please if someone have a RAW pour K00Y TW_V5.5.0 I will appreciate some links or post.
Thanks for helping, last hope before the repair shop and a very probable trashing.

Hi Mike, I did try to post there first hand but it's confirmed member territory. You need to make 10 useful post to get in and as a newbie I can't.
But any help is welcome, so if you have access there feel free to quote me there or forward the tread. Thanks.

Unfortunately, that area seems to be the only one where your device is discussed at length but you might still be able to search for answers there until you're able to post. In the meantime, try to ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where someone may have a link for you.

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
I'm sorry to hear about your trouble. There is no forum specifically for the THL W5000 but you may want to ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you. I also found a thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/thl-5000-octacore-mtk6592t-root-recovery-t2835857 that has some tips about the W5000 and it might be a good idea to look at that also if you haven't done so already.
Good luck!

[Completed] Asus Transformer- Soft-Bricked After Installing App

Hello everybody !
First of all : sorry if this post is in the wrong place or a repetition ... ...
(I promise to do better in the future..)
But right now i'm in a bit of a hurry to get me going ... ...
Ok ! So here is the thing :
I downloaded some app which was incompatible with my tablet and unfortunately didn't remove it.
Result ? bricked in endless bootloop until battery runs out .
My main question is :
- can i get it up and running without losing my data ?
or
- can i recover data before reseting it ?
I have lots of questions in relation to this ; but i don't want to make this post any longer now.
Will ask more as the conversation goes along ...
Thanks in advance ! ...
