Hello guys,
i am from India and a recently soft launched network Reliance JIO works on Volte
I have searched lot but i am not able to get the answer i hope i get it here
the Chipset for Oneplus One supports Volte, and if you go
in the advance network settings menu it does show the option for Volte however it wont toggle
can someone provide a patch or a ROM version which gets the Volte feature working in Oneplus One
any patch/software update/Roms /tweaks kindly suggest

Even I am looking for the same. Unfortunately such a good device but no support of voLTE? My JIO sim doesn't even get detected in OPO.

Friend a good news for you.
To make your jio sim work on OPO, you have to install cm 11 rom. I dont know why but my jio sim was working till cm11 (44s) and once i upgraded to cm12 then it started to give searching issues for jio network...i tried till cm13 and many other roms too but only cm11 allowed jio sim to work properly without any issue.
One more problem i faced was that i was not able to get jio network on my cm11 as it needed boost to get started i placed the sim in my yu yureka device running on cm11 and voila ot worked like charm.
volte also worked on cm11

Just flash cm11(44s) modem in any rom, it will work.

Bro flashed but not working
Bro my problem is I can't access internet but it show LTE logo when I turn on data .
And it show data exhausted error but my unlimited plan is active and in my device calling working fine but Internet not working ...

Share a screenshot of when it says data exhausted. Did you get a message stating " data exhausted" ? Or a pop up ?

Yes it's show unlimited even I used more than 400 minutes for calling and 3000+ sms

ROOT Guide:
It has a builtin ROOT, so no need to install any 3rd party ROOT.
Just go to About Phone and keep on clicking Build Number until it shows a message that Dev setting enabled. Go back, and click on Dev Options, scroll down to Root Access and select APPS and ADB. Done! your phone is now rooted.

I guess one SIM card could work now.
For fixing those bugs, I am still waiting for dev answer. He told me 3 days ago that camera is fixed, and he just have to optimize the system.
Sensor bug is still there, so compass won't work.
I hope next build will solve at least SIM card problem.
Moreover, LEWA OS is building LEWA OS 6 based on Android L for K3, so hope for good.

I am not the dev of this ROM. This some Chinese dev port it. I will talk to him today about all these bugs. I know the bug sensor for sure, but I have to sort out SIM card bug.

Our area is getting JIO soon, so a few quick questions,
1. As VoLTE doesn't work, still, can the call to 1977 go through to compete verification, or do we have to go back to stock temporarily to verify? As most people have reported they were not able to call other people, they realized this after activating the sim, which confuses me about how they completed tele-verification without VoLTE in first place?
2. I have read many conflicting news, some say data is unlimited, some say it's limited to 2 GB. Is there any definitive answer to this?
BTW, I think hadn't jio provided free calling&data for 3 months, this VoLTE issue wouldn't be as widespread as it is now [emoji14]

1.) If you are using stock rom you can call directly from sim 1 to 1977 which uses Volte call or you can also activate using another network by calling 1800 890 1977.
2.) From tomorrow September 5th to till December 31st everyone will get unlimited plan.
Unlimited offer means you can use upto 4gb/daily data at LTE speed limit after it will be reduced to 128 kbps and daily 100 SMS maximum and unlimited VoLte calls.
Hope this clarifies your doubts

Thanks mate for the answers, the problem is that I am using AICP right now so I wanted to know if people can call to service care without VoLTE. I am active at XDA but didn't heard this from any user. If not I would have to fetch my stock TWRP. Stock is not my cup of tea

Got One Fix!
Dial *#*#4636#*#* in Dialer> Phone Information> Set Preferred Network Type-LTE Only > Turn Off Radio> Restart. It Should be fixed. If it doesn't, remove any other sim & then try restart/the steps again. It will be fixed.. thanx

Maybe from a working rom copy the apn .xml files and replace it to the non working

Recently, following another forum https://forum.xda-developers.com/ma...tall-nxt-l29c185b560-official-t3556789/page11 and AngelicCore's guidance I have upgraded to latest NXT-L29C185B560
This is the latest version with EMUI 5.0, Nougat .
But even after this update also, there is no VOLTE support.
I have Airtel 4G and Reliance Jio 4 G SIMS, both don't work for VOLTE, but LTE (data) works...
Still looking for a solution....

I have flashed many regions. So far only china firmware has VOLTE function but I will confirm that again when I install china firmware.
China Unicom has Volte but voice isn't supported on JIO so better use Jio Voice app. I tried all available solutions.
Huawei p9 india CustC675 have added VoLTE feature recently.

the latest OTA-Update B594
for my Mate 8 NXT-L29C636
Has somone, already tried this, what is shown on YouTube, to enable VoLTE on Huawei
Smartphones?
( I got a message from Forum-Software, that i´m not allowed to put in extern links)
So go to YouTube, and search for;
ENABLING VoLTE SWITCH FOR HUAWEI PHONES
it seems, that it works.

Warning: I'm not responsible for any bootloops you get. I've tested this and created the zip on my own for the convenience of others. I can confirm this working on the ROM by sac23.
Instructions :-
-Download the Attached Zip
-Reboot to Recovery
-Flash the Zip
-Reboot

Unfortunately, that option will be different for each ROM. I could make a specific zip for your ROM. Just give me its name.

i m on renovate rom...is it possible for this rom..
no VoLTE switch or wifi switch to toggle.dont know when or if it is working

Wifi calling switch is there. VOLTE will be auto enabled if your sim supports VOLTE.

my sim supports it 100% because on sac23 rom i have hd calling on callscreen on top left

Just flashed this on S7 Edge (snapdragon) U firmware (originally sprint device but should work on any USA model with U firmware after rooting. Flash this with Flashfire. Follow this guide to root your USA model) and i got VoLTE working on Jio.

The pie update for our beloved Mi A1 was released one day after the beta version did. Currently the places where we can get the OTA update are : Netherlands and also Austria (As far as i know) if you are in one of these countries try to update it without making any of these steps !
Note : This isn't the beta update is the official OTA Pie update !
Steps:
1. Remove your SIM card
2. Go to settings and clear : Google App, Google Framework, Google Play Services, Location Service
3. Reboot
4. Open vpn with country Netherlands/ Austria (VPN doesn't matter as long as its a VPN)
5. Go to update and check it
PS. If it doesn't work try it 2 or 3 times the procedure

True! It happened to me, lost LTE because of this. Please be extra careful when doing this or if you don't mind then go ahead, haven't face any other issue so far, it feels faster.

Try setting the VPN to USA, that worked for me, just keep in mind the possibility of losing LTE
focus of gcam doesn't working ?
It worked fine here. And it didn't mess the LTE/4G. Everything is going well

Is this a fastboot or miflash zip?
Updated using the VPN method, used Windscribe VPN, everything works great, first bootup was longer. LTE works (Czech Republic)

So how do I use it? I tried using adb sideload but it got an error from terminal.
i got update but it shows waiting for wifi even ny wifi connected I try another wifi but nothing happen I'm not able to download

Restart the phone, also clear data from the google services and settings app
