[Completed] How to unbrick Allview City Life tablet ? - XDA Assist

I have an Allview City Life tablet with Android 4.1.1 on it. Some weeks ago, as I was reading a pdf file in Acrobat Reader, it stopped working . Since then I tried all kind of things to make it work again: wipe data / factory reset, wipe cache data, flashing rom, root, re-partition with fdisk using ADB. Results are poor. It seems that wipe data / factory reset doesn't work, while user data remain in the internal memory. Re-partition had no effect. Even though, something happened: the tablet works again but very slowly. It takes minutes until it reacts to most simple actions, such navigating through tablet's settings. One more strange thing is that the internal storage shows only 4.84 GB available from a total 8 GB (two internal storage partitions, one of 0.00B, other of 4.84GB).
Could somebody help me?

HI,
I am thinking it's an issue with your Drive account maybe.... You seem to have tried all the right steps.... You will have to ask for help here and hopefully someone has other ideas,
>*Android Development and Hacking*>*Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!
When I login from web browser everything is working fine. But it refuses to even open in android. Is jellybean a problem ?? As far as I know drive supports 4.1
My friends who use 4.2 or 4.4 they have no problem.
I am totally confused. I have lots of backups there
You will need to ask for help in the section I linked. XDA Assist is here to help navigate the site, not more. ?

[Completed] Live Booting AndroidOS from external SD-card (Non-persistent filesystem)

Hello All,
I've been looking for a solution for this for well over a year now so any feedback or people with experience would be greatly appreciated. I'm even willing to pay for advice/work if need be.
For a long time I have used various Linux distro's on my spare laptop using a (Live-USB setup) in which I place a bootable Linux image on the USB and boot from the USB while the filesystem runs in RAM and nothing gets saved to the HD aka "non-persistent usb".
I'm breaking my neck to be able to create a pre-built android image with my custom app in the image - then boot this from a SD card every time the phone starts up. This would be used daily and no information would be able to be stored on the internal HD (may even remove the HD if the phone will still run).
Hopefully someone on here has the knowledge and/or experience to point me in the best direction.

[Completed] Lg v410 stuck in fastboot, NO OS.

So I attempted to install Marshmellow onto my LG Gpad 7.0, using TWRP and while in TWRP, I mistakenly deleted all of my files and was stuck in TWRP, So I then attempted to install the Custom ROM through Sideloading and by doing that, I was able to get the Zip file onto my External Sd Memory, So I attempted to flash the Custom ROM, but it didnt fully work, So I ended up Rebooting without an OS, and ever since then, I have been stuck in Fastboot mode. My computer was unable to detect my Tablet and attempting to Factory Reset just puts it back into Fastboot mode. Is my tablet bricked?

[Completed] how to fix nexus 5 no os and no computer connection

sitrep
-no rom/os on phone
-computers(multiple) wont find my phone
-since nexus 5 no sd card slot or otg
-twrp working
-was running cm13
main problem. i wanted to install a new rom on my phone so i deleted the old one, so i could put the new one on. then i realised i did not have a new rom on my phone. so i went to connect is to my computer and it could not find it. so now i have a phone that can boot into twrp and nothing else. i did a full wipe of the system.(every single option available in the twrp options)
how do i get my phone back since i cant put a new rom on my phone since i just cant drag a file on it from my computer. since there is no other way i can put files on my phone. it is not because of lack of drivers. since it used to work just fine. i tried multiple computers to be sure. all of which in the past i could access my phone on.
