Is there any way to shoot slomotion videos in aosp rom like the default camera in EUI?

Hi! I recently installed a custom rom in my HTC One M7 and i want to have slow motion video, and i saw that the google camera app supports slow-mo on nexus 5x and 6p, and i want to ank if it is possible to enable this feature touching something in the app's code.
I have already tested a lot of ports of htc camera and none of this works with slow-mo...
Or if it isn't possible, what libraries should i port in order to make slow-mo working with the htc camera on a custom rom.
Guys, anyone know how to install Miui camera for cook ROM pie with camera feature : 1080p 60fps.
Others mod miui camera is 1080p but only 30fps and no option 60fps like stock camera on Miui 10 ROM.
Hope someone can help or explain.

Has anyone found any third party Camera app that actually has Image Stabilization working ? It works on the default Camera, but this cam is full of bugs ( one major one being it drops frames ). Third party apps like Open Cam and GCam dont have the frame drop issue but they don't support Image Stabilization on Redmi note 7 pro....
Has anyone found any camera app that has Image Stabilization working for Videos ?

ive tried, there is no stabilization support, unless you have found a specific build that works ? I have tried many, they all do videos, but shaky as hell.

Try Hedge Camera in Playstore. Its Better & Smooth than Open Camera For Video.

What are the advantages of using Google Camera (GCam) compared to the default camera application? Before install it, I wish to know why GCam is sometime better than the default camera app.
there is any way i can play slowmotion in gcam in my phone?
ive rooted , the aux cameras works, but slowmotion makes the app crashes.

Slow motion on GCAM is choppy better stick with stock cam.
