Possible to flash unlocked Samsung Galaxy S6 G920A (AT&T) to G920T (T-Mobile)? - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I own an unlocked Samsung G920A which I actually flashed to a G920AZ (Cricket Wireless (who is owned by AT&T)). I now want to flash to T-Mobile as I want to be able to 1. get Marshmallow. Cricket may never. 2. Be able to use WiFi calling and you can only do that with the TMO image (from what I read). I downloaded the G920TUVU3EPD1_G920TTMB3EPD1_G920TUVU3EPD1_HOME.tar and using Odin tried, but it fails.
Is it possible to flash to the T-Mobile firmware/ROM ?
If it is impossible, then I think I would want to go to the G920A again to get Marshmallow 6.0.1, then simply pop the T-Mobile SIM in, update APN, etc. Unfortunate though as the LTE bands all work. Seems sh***y it wouldn't work to use their firmware.

[Q] S6 variants - which firmware/modem/bootloader is interchangeable?

I'm not as concerned about this for ROM flashing. I'm wanting to find out if my G920T can use G920I or G920F modems/bootloaders, etc.
Here's my deal. I have a T-Mobile G920T. To unlock this phone I need to get away from the G920T modem. I previously had a G920T1 (MetroPCS) firmware set installed and it worked great, but the rom sucked.
I've since restored back to stock G920T and i've rooted/twrp, but I see other ROM's and I'd like to give them a shot. The catch - they all say I need to have the newest OI7 firmware installed. I'm still on the G920T sim locked OH8. The only OI7 modems/bootloaders I can find are for the G920F variant. I can't find OI7 for the G920T1 variant. I don't know if the G920F variant will sim unlock my phone. I don't want to brick my phone to figure that out, so this is the reason why I posted this question. I can flash ROM's all day long, but if I can't use my Cricket sim when I'm out in BFE then the ROM is pointless.
Does anyone understand what I'm asking?

DO NOT flash any FIrmewares through odin if its isn't your model number, if you purchased your phone and don't have an EIP you could sim unlock with the app, so any rom your on unless its not Touch wiz based (aren't any available besides touchwiz)

Suggest an international rom for an Unlocked N915T

Hi folks,
I have an American T-mobile factory unlocked Galaxy note edge (SM-N915T) that I use in the UK on Three's network.
I would like to flash an official unlocked international ROM, preferably with a Marshmallow, so I get faster updates (Tmobile is very slow at this) plus no additional Tmobile's widgets and apps.
Any suggestions? I tried flashing a BTU region N915FYXXU1DPC3 via odin but got an error, I imagine it is not compatible with my phone?

Flashing g930T 7.0 firmware on a g930v device

I have a S7 g930V that I moved over to T-mobile service. It still has the 6.0 Marshmallow since I no longer get the Samsung updates.
Can I flash the G930TUVU4BQH7 which is the t-mobile 7.0 firmware without bricking my phone?

Not only can you, but it's easily doable - I took my originally-VZW S7 (Snapdragon SoC and all) to the UnCarrier using that method.
1. Put the target S7 into download mode and grab the latest version of Odin. (You will lose your data.) Make sure you have a T-M or compatible nano SIM in the phone or no SIM at all.
2. Flash the latest SM-G930T (as in T-Mobile) firmware according to the directions.
3. The flash SHOULD be successful.
4. Restart the phone - following the new customer steps. (The setup should let you know about VoLTE. Unlike VZW, T-Mobile DOES let their MVNOs -- such as Tracfone - use VoLTE on their network; same applies to wi-fi calling.)
Both SamMobile and UPDATO have up-to-date firmware for T-Mobile S7s; the reason I prefer UPDATO is due to faster (much faster) transfer rates that do NOT require *premium* BS.
I don't see a guide/link on XDA on going specifically to 930T, just 930U. I'm also coming from 930V. Can you please provide the link?

The 930U steps work for 930T; the firmware choice is the only difference. The same steps apply for custom firmware based on stock (such as Project L).

Help Flashing a S7 Verizon

My Uncle got me a verizon galaxy s7 from USA and now I am trying to run a 4G sim in it but it isn't working as VoLTE is not activating ( something called Advanced HD Calling) as verizon wants verification for it and as the device is here we can't do that
I was thinking of flashing an Indian Firmware on it
Will that help me ??
Or is there anything else I can do.
Please Help.
update 1 : I managed to unlock the bootloader
If it's a Verizon S7 it'll be a G930V which uses Snapdragon, you can't flash Indian firmware on it because India uses the G930F model which has Exynos SoC.
Also despite the bootloader unlock option being available and toggleable in developer options, it doesn't actually do anything on USA models. Don't attempt to flash custom recovery, it'll brick.
Your best bet would be to flash the unbranded USA firmware (G930U) which should rid the phone of Verizon, however it's unlikely that'd let you use local carrier VoLTE.
I can run an Indian Sim in this device its just that the Volte doesn't work
I can still make it work with an app from the provider
should i just make do with the app or try the unbranded firmware?
also the other s7 my uncle sent me has FRP locked and the seller can't obviously give me his gmail to unlock it.
Is there anything I can do to bypass it or do I have to send it back to USA? also i have no clue if it has OEM unlocking enabled
