Google launcher icons problem - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
Please have a look at the screenshot from my OPO.
This happened just two weeks back.
All app icons in my phone started changing intro this rounded look.
I checked in other phones the icons are normal and transparent without the boxed icons.
I am on stock ROM cm13. No mods.
Using google launcher latest update.
I tried uninstalling, didn't help.
Thanks.

LunarUi Theme Missing Icons

Hello everyone!
I am brand new to the android world, so please be patient with me.
I installed Launcher Pro (the free version) on my Chacha, and then bought the Lunar Ui Theme Pack for that launcher.
I went to settings from Launcher Pro and clicked on the Lunar Ui package, restarted and.. voila!
Some icons changed, like the Twitter and Whatsapp icons... but most of them stayed the same!
For example, the phone icon is supposed to be pink and pretty (like shown in the screenshot from the store) but mine looks just plain and boring, like before.
It's weird that some icons changed and some didn't. Did I do something wrong? Is there a way to change the icons manually for each app? Any suggestions?
I am using Super Stock Rom, in case that helps.
Thank you for taking your time for reading this!

transparent navbar/statusbar novalauncher

Hi Guys,
i loved the transparent status- and navbar in the new google-launcher.
But I wanted to stick to nova launcher and unfortunately i noticed, that both bars are not transparent anymore
So i stumbled upon this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2328346&page=6
There i read that with the latest beta of novalauncher its possible to set transperency for both bars. (even example screenshots of useres were posted)
Unfortunatetly with the latest beta and a rooted 4.4 N5 i do not have any of these options within novalauncher.
Does anyone knows about this or has this fixed yet?
Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure transparency only works with Nova on a few phones. It needs to be updated to allow it on the Nexus 5.
Here is their beta page on Google+. There isn't a current beta, but it's possible they will release a beta with these options to testers first, but I'm not entirely sure.

Maybe due to root not possible?
Hello,
as I bought a new Nexus 5 today as a Christmas present for my mother I noticed today, while preparing it, that her home buttons etc are transparent and my ones not, although stock Android 5.0 and Nova Launcher are installed on both devices equally but her's is unrooted and my one is rooted. My notification bar is transparent though... Only within a few apps I see my home button transparent.
Is it possible that this is the prohibiting factor?
Edit:
Sorry, I was so stupid to not notice, that my background caused this.... With another one I see them being transparent. Sry guys for the useless post ;o

Icon Border Issues

Hi,
I searched for this but could not find it here or on the OPO site but I am having an issue where all of my icons have borders around them. It looks like it was due to the holo theme but even when I apply the system android theme (only two installed) it still does not change the icons.
I am using CM12s with nova launcher, any help?
Thanks.
Nevermind, I was able to figure out my issue here:
https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/updated-to-cm12-from-cm11-now-very-ugly-icons.296863/page-2
Turns out it was nova that was causing the icon pack to default to hexo.
Thread closed at OP's request.

Theme problem.

Hi guys. I just got an xa recently and it's a great phone. But i'm having a problem with the themes.
No matter what theme i apply the dialer, contacts, messaging and clock don't change theme. Dialer and messaging stays blue contacts is a pink colour and clock is always green. I've used the stock themes and downloaded a few but nothing changes except lockscreen and wallpaper.
Anyone else have this issue at any time?
Edit: after doing some research it seems they can't be themed.

For one, Sony went with Google apps, and Swiftkey, instead of Xperia apps, for some things, (strange, since Xperia apps are better). Also Sony Theme Creator hasn't been updated to N compatibility yet, (last time I checked), so any STC themes will have a limited effect. Search the cross-device development themes and apps thread...

I'll have a look thanks for the tip. One of my favourite things about Sony was the ability to theme almost all of the ui, and so was a bit disappointed with nougat. Haven't got the hours to spend themeing stuff like I did with older versions or Linux stuff. Must be getting old or lazy or both lol.

Theme not working

After installing third party font through zFont app, any theme from Theme Store always reverting back to default after couple of hours...
What happened? Is there any work around for this issue?
Please advice...
Thx
