Hello,
I have the NXT-L29, Build No. C636B180
I wanted to contact Huawei Support regarding many issues with EMUI
Does anyone know their email and which country's support I should contact?
I seem to be hitting dead-ends. The Huawei Online Email Form is pretty much a useless piece of **** to submit support requests.
The UK Mobile Unit (named Honor UK Customer Care) told me to call a UK Number for "Honor"??
The Singapore Unit is asking where I purchased my phone.
So far, none of them have been helpful enough.
Thanks
u should check in with the huawei support of the country u bought ur device from, thats the safest way to avoid any troubles...

I emailed Huawei USA last week asking about availability and pricing and they wrote back that they had no information and that I needed to contact the international division. So, I did, still waiting to hear back. Looks like this is not coming to the US though based on that interaction.
Do Huawei phones ever come to the US?

You can buy the Ascend Mate 2 directly from GetHuawei.com and it will work on AT&T and T-Mobile although I don't have details about full LTE speeds or not. Since Huawei supposedly created that site for american consumers to buy the Mate 2, I am hoping they will quickly make the Mate 7 available via that site and that it will support full LTE speeds - not Cat 6 since I think it is barely supported in the US (if at all) so far.
I don't see the Mate7, in the USA, being sold for the same price point as the Mate2.
Also, having owned the Mate2 for a couple months, I see the light! High class specs,
in "real world" operation, are for the birds. Yes, the Mate2 has a slower processor,
lower density screen, older android build, but, I use up two 2000 minutes, 2gb of data,
couple hundred text, emails and it works like a champ, fast, bright clear screen. For
my preferences, these "mid spec" devices work perfectly, and save me a LOT of money.

From Luis at 9/15/14 10:33 AM:
hello i live in newyork city ( USA ) i have 3 questions :
1- Do You Ship To United States. ( Newyork City ).
2- Which Website Can I Place My Order. And Buy The Mate 7.
3- Does The Ascend Mate 7 Comes With The Google Play Store Install.
¡¡ THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!
From Huawei Mobile:
Thank you for your mail.
We support shipping to United States,
Huawei Ascend Mate7 will be released at the end of September,
We will email you at the first time when the Huawei Ascend Mate7 smartphone be available,
you need to download the Google Play Store in the APPS center.
Looks like a couple more weeks until it's officially released. But on the bright side, it looks like it will be available direct from Huawei for shipping to the US.
Not compatible with the T-Mobile 4G LTE network, better check about AT&T to be sure

Just got a response back from them, NOT compatible with the T-Mobile 4G LTE site, just letting you know.
I want to buy Mate 8 on aliexpress and I see there are two versions of it (UL00 and AL10). UL00 is much cheaper than the second one. What's the difference? Can I use UL00 in Europe? Will it work fine? Will I be able to call and use LTE? When I asked seller, he said: ,,Yes friend ,you just need to know the FDD network band is the same, thank you". But I'm not sure I can trust him.
I hope someone can help me. Thanks
Edit: I found page where I can check if it will work in Poland and it sais it will. https://www.frequencycheck.com/comp...scend-mate-8-m200-ul00-dual-sim-td-lte/poland
So what else can be wrong with that version?
hm, judging from info gathered online, the M200-UL00 model seems to be a mate 8 prototype. if i were you i would rather go for the AL10...

Hi guys,
I have a few questions about my device as I was unable to find any information about my model after two hours of googling.
I bought my Honor 8 about week ago, I love the device, it is really beautiful piece of hardware.
Anyway I am located in Central Europe in Czech Republic. After two days or so I realized that my phone is not using LTE at all.
Also I updated my phone on the first day I bought it. There is Czech localization available on the phone in EMUI 5, however a lot of stuff is in Chinese (update's changelog, stock apps from Huawei, I am also unable to change HiVoice to Google assistant, etc.) and I had to install Google Play additionally as it wasn't there at all.
I was wondering if this is really a model for the Europe as the shop where I bought the phone says, or they are scammers?
My current firmware version is FRD-DL00C00B368.
I would like to know if there is a way how to switch to the Europe version of the firmware?
Many thanks you guys, love XDA, hopefully someone will have the answers.
Michal
Hi there,
What a weirdo situation. Your current model (FRD DL00 if i'm not mistaken) was taken off the shelf not a long time ago here where I live (France), even tho you can find most editions here (Including chinese and indian if you look hard enough ). Europe's standard model is actually FRD-L09
My suggestion is that you waltz back to the store and exchange your current unit for a FRD-L09. You're perfectly entitled to a refund, as european laws grant you a two-weeks arbitrary refund, and a two-year warranty. More info here : http://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/consumers/shopping/guarantees-returns/index_en.htm
Tell me how that works out
Yep you got a chinese version

Good day everyone.
I'm planning to change my phone from samsung note 8 to huaweii P30. I consider to buy one from an ebay (UK) - it's been imported from, as seller described it, "asian partners".
I did similar thing with my current Samsung note 8 - it's from UAE region with UK SIM card inside and it doesn't receive OTA updates due to incompatibility of regions (CRC etc).
Does the same problem exist with Huawei phones?
I am planning to buy p30 ele-l29 (dual sim)
yes dont buy it as i came across the same thing. Seller didnt say from where the phone was and once received, firmware region was c900 "global" but doenst receive updates nor warranty is valid.
And since bootloader is locked you cant do anything. Even official local support cant help since this was chinese phone sold to uk and is not supported in my current region (eu)
Thank you!
That was what I expected but wasn't sure.
Cheers mate <3
Hello guys, I have been looking through multiple forums & discussions if phones imported from other country work.
So I was looking for the Mate 40 pro to be imported from Dubai to use it in India, will this have any issues in the usability.
Do share your thoughts
I think you can use it without problems, as long as that model is not one for China.
