I really need helpp - LG G Stylo Questions & Answers

Sooo I got this LG G Stylo about a month ago from MetroPCS and I decided that a one click root would be quite simple... but once I shut it down and then turned it on it prompted me with the LG logo and "Secure Booting Error 1003" I was baffled and kinda freaked out I just upgraded to Marshmallow 6.0 like a week before i rooted it (yesterday) the one click root website i used was kingroot which led me to an apk which would allow a one click root I dont really know too much about phones soo plz try and make the answers simple PLZZ HELPP

Which carrier are you on? Kingroot should work fine. I am on Metro/Tmo. I can most likely help you if you are on Metro/Tmo

moto g xt 1031 update error

hello guys,
i have purchased 2 moto g's from flipkart and other is of reliance communications(r-com e-shop INDIA).
i am facing problem on the update one.
it's the cdma one from r-com e-shop INDIA.
model no-xt1031.
variant-8GB
i ordered the phone from r-com e-shop,
when i received the phone i noticed that the phone was from us and it was rooted with boot loader unlocked.
the phone is non sim based.
the phone was from boost mobile.
i went to reliance showroom for activation,
and there they created a mess from which i am irritated till now.
they took 2 days to activate my phone, which could be done in couple of minutes.
they gave me a reason saying they are not getting some 4 digit pin to activate.
the second day after receiving it i again went and sat there for 2 to 3 hrs doing nothing just seeing their st***d faces.
i was again irritated. then finally they activated and gave me.
that was the story of my moto g cdma one.
now the problem i am facing is to update that one.
the phone pops up a message it has got an update,
when i try to download it it downloads but it won't install.
it shows an error saying that the update could not be validated please try again.
could someone help me out in fixing the issue please.
thanks and regards

i have few questions like:
a) will the warranty break.
i know that the warranty is broken from moto-g but i have a waranty for 1 yr from reliance.
b) will my data get erased?
and the last one
will i get my network coverage.
because i am INDIAN so by flashing the us one will my network get affected
thanks and regards

Hi The Warranty won't break
Yes the data will be erased. Please back up your data
The network coverage will be the same as the original rom, after all both are stock
You'll need to have the boost modem part

Boost xt1031 4.4.4 not installing
Tried to install this version after trying to flash verizon to a boost Moto G. Not having any luck with boot, stuck on boot unlocked screen. I had better luck with 4.4.2. though it still then only booted to starting services. Any suggested implementation program/ procedure?

[Q] Help with 2nd ZTE N800 Root

Okay, so I used Cydia Impactor to root my Virgin Mobile ZTE N800 AWE about a week ago. Worked perfectly, no problems at all. My wife typically doesn't like me to root her phones, but with the low amount of device memory on the N800 she finally agreed to let me root it. I get either "no such device" or "signature bugs unavailable", and have spent hours on forums looking for a solution or a work around. Can someone please help me out with the information that I am missing.
Thanks.
Can you set your phone back to factory mode?
I got same error as you
still haven't found how to root it now.
Anything new on this?
Sent from my N800 using XDA Free mobile app
I need to find a root also, pretty disappointed I was only able to root & brick my ZTE Warp 4g. Which I havent been able to u brick the 2nd time. I won't be making that mistake 3 times! Lol
I rooted mine finally . Promptly bricked . Ugh, back to the drawing board...

[Q] [HELP] How to downgrade from Lollipop to Kitkat & root my device

Hi Guys,
I own a Karbonn Sparkle V smartphone. I wanted to downgrade my firmware from Lollipop to Kitkat as I am repeatedly getting low memory errors as well as I want to root my device (which I believe is not available of Lollipop)
Could anyone assist me in the following:
1) Downgrading from Lollipop to Kitkat
2) Rooting my device
I hope many other users would have a question on similar lines, sorry in advance if there is a similar thread posted earlier.
Cheers!! :good:
I had been to 2 service centres for downgrading, but they said it cant be. There has to be some way, i tried from my own, pc doesnt recognizes after the phone is switched off.

Xposed on LG MS631 5.1.1
Hello, I have the LG G Stylo from Metro PCS which I rooted and flashed current recovery/5.1.1. all from this thread, so first i want to thank you all for the hard work. I have tried to flash Xposed 3 times (after flashing the xposed helper zip to get rid of the 2 LG apps that FC) Once my phone goes through that "Android is upgrading" stuff I get a "com.android.phone" has stopped every 3 to 4 seconds. Anyone know whats up with that?? Is this an LG MS631 thing or a LP 5.1.1 problem??

Ok do you have TWRP ?? Did you make a backup?? You can get to recovery from phone OFF even if you're bricked by holding volume DOWN and Power button until LG LOGO then releasing and pressing them together again. Then a white screen will ask if you want to factory reset select yes twice and it boots you into recovery. . .

Root for LG-H636
Hi
I have the Canadian variant model number LG-H636 LG Stylo
It differs from this forums version in a few ways (i think) because it has a 13mp camera. It was released the same date, Im not sure if it has the same hardware apart from the 13mp camera.
[q]I used to have a Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE and the model # was i727R, the TMobile version was i727. All the hardware was the same and ROMS+Recovery could be flashed. Can I use a US variants ROM's, root, recovery for my LG-H636 LG Stylo?
Thanks in advance, I cant find much on Google regarding Root and Recovery for this phone.
THX!
Ours has 13MP camera too.

There is TWRP flashable zip to update to 5.1.1 without locking the bootloader. Works with T-Mobile and MetroPCS versions.
