Apparently, Google is releasing developer preview of Android Wear today. Hopefully, my watch is on the list of the devices supported by this.

I just tried it on emulator and it looks interesting. Here is some screenshots.

Jeah I hope they add zenwatch 2 soon. It's a great watch and the new features would fit well.

At this point, they are probably not going to release any additional images.

You can flash it, yes. However, I am not sure how stable it would be on your watch, as I only tried it on emulator.

I didn't attempt that at all, but in the Google Bug Tracker it says "Tapping on next and previous controls in a notification while playing music does not work." and "Play music crashes when tapping on music complication in watch face." so it probably works but controls are buggy.

The specs on Huawei Watch are not much better than 1st Gen.
Until now, all smartwatches were being updated to every new version. I hope that's the case with new 2.0 update... (LG G Watch R owner)
LG G Watch R will be updated to AW 2.0, it says so on the UK LG Website.

Hi. I've just recently decided to try my hand at android development. I have uploaded my first app to the play store and was hoping for some feedback. I know the interface is a little rough, but any suggestions on improving either the UI or functionality would be much appreciated. I'll post a few screenshots but can't post links yet on the forum. Can't post screenshots yet either, sorry. You can search for the app in the play store by searching for "support caller" in quotes.
Support Caller
Use this application to call the customer support and technical support phone numbers for various wireless cell phone and cable tv providers.
- Click the button below your provider to bring up your phones dialer app with the number already filled in for you.
- Now just press call.
- The blue arrow at the bottom is for toggling between wireless carriers and cable tv providers.
Some Screenshots
Here are some screenshots of the app(hopefully).
Update
I updated the app, added additional tech support numbers.
Update
There are now 16 tech/customer support numbers included in the app. I'd appreciate it if anyone could take the time to take a look at the app, it's on the play store. Just search for "support caller"in quotes. Thanks.

Added additional numbers to the paid version, free version still includes 16 common support numbers. The paid version now includes 44 numbers.

Updated paid version with 4 new support numbers for banks. The free version still has 16 numbers so that you can get a feel for how the app works.

Yes, BUT...
Sony has not released and has said they cannot release the stock firmware as open source.
The code released is for a minimal "Arduino" environment.
This Arduino environment might be fun for a bit of hacking, but it would take a HUGE amount of reverse engineering and development work to replicate the stock Sony smartwatch "OS".
The oh so important Bluetooth stack would be a big pain, IMO. But I haven't looked at the code to see exactly what's there.
As for the Smartwatch2, allegedly coming out in the UK as early as July 15, I would not be surprised if the basic hardware, SOC & BT at least, are pretty much the same as the 1st smartwatch. And it is likely very similar to the newest BT headsets with NFC.
Not the stock firmware. I am working on that though. Check out my thread on it.
Since the Samsung Galaxy App Store is horrible when it comes to finding what you are looking for I'm making this OP to discuss/share Edge panels/feeds. If you have one that you find useful, or jsut want tot alk about them feel free to post below. I would like to see what types of extra functionality we can get from the edge besides media controls and other small things (edge feed)
I'm looking to try new things ones assuming there are more than the half dozen or so on the Galaxy App Store. I would like a edge feed for Google news, or maybe Google fit of possible.
I have there already a question. I saw in some Videos about the Phone a Football App but i couldnt find one on my own. Is there something like this?

That's also a possibility. I checked the Galaxy App Store and it doesn't have the Yahoo panels, so maybe someone could pull the files for you from their phone? If you know how I can do it, but this is my first Samsung phone in a long time

What carrier? Many of the U.S. carriers delete and/or add pre-installed apps. Especially Verizon. Might want to search on Yahoo and see if you can find anything.
Got the phone this morning and here are my thoughts on the Edge...
I'm coming from an LG G3 which is the same size screen but because of the Edge the Samsung screen is definitely small but I guess it makes the phone narrower too.
Now, on to the Edge panels...
Why are there only 5 spots for contacts when you can have two columns for other things?
My feeling is the Edge panels are just a gimmick as I have been using an app called SwipePad for years and it gives me short-cuts at a swipe and very customisable too with add ons.

Hi All,
I had a quick look and it looks like mostly 'Google' Phones are most popular phones among developers.
for example, I couldn't find CM14.1 or any other 7.1 Builds for any ROM for Galaxy S7 or HTC 10 or Huawei Mate 9 etc
On that bases, as i love to play around with my phone, should my next phone be from 'Google' ?
Cheers
