Does Mate 7 support OTG USB like this one?

It would be awesome if someone could verify this.
My phone is not rooted and I am not planning to root it. It is currently running the latest ROM TL10 B514.
Thank you!
Yes, OTG. It has enough battery to also charge another smaller device.
I'm thinking about getting a 128Gb OTG drive so I can storeTWRP recovery backups to it instead of holding more than one on my 64Gb uSD card. I think the phone would even backup directly to OTG drive.
Hello guys, I hope someone can help me out... I'm trying to update my phone to marshmallow by using my Sandisk Ultra pin drive but my phone it's not picking it up and the SD Card is displaying a message of been damaged... I was able to update to lollipop using the OTG I don't know why it is not working.
Thank you,

Hello
I have owned this HTC Desire S for more than two years now and it is time to retire it to some else in the family and get a new phone.
The problem is I'm running Cyanogenmod on it and the camera will probably not be good enough for the girl that I will give it to.
I want to remove this version of Cyanogenmod but the problem is that the USB port does not allow my computer to detect the phone when I try and flash roms and the like. I need to be able to do this since I have an unclocked bootloader but S-On (Or the other way, point is I need a PC to flash) The weird this is that although I am unable to switch to mass storage on a PC I can access the mass storage function on a TV using the same USB cable. I have been able to play all sorts of files but my computer just cannot read anything.
Does anyone have a clue what the problem could be?
Thanks for any of the replies and help I will get.
What operating system is on your pc?
Have you tried different USB ports on the PC?
it may be ur custom rom fault to for eg . i encountered sam problem with pacman rom later i flashed SVHD Rom and problem solved

Hi guy!
After I updated to 5.0.2 my USB sticks won't mount using my OTG-cable, which worked last time I used it (before the update). Can someone please comfirm that mounting USB-sticks with OTG-cable is working on the 5.0.2?
I only have one OTG-cable, so I don't know if mine is working or not.
Same here, dude.
I have tested on my sis s5 and no problem about it (kitkat).
On my z3, i plug the cable otg no sucess, dont mount usb.
I look for a solution too...
Man, i found a solution!
Got root?
Download "OTG Troubleshooter" on PlayStore!
Works for me!

hi I have the same problem, my xperia z3 with android 5.0.2 is not seeing USB OTG, I used to have xperia z1, there using USB OTG was not a problem. bought a new xperia z3 from ebay but in this phone USB OTG is not working.
Please can anybody help me
all the best
Has anybody else connected via a USB OTG cable to a USB drive? I get stuck in bootloops both when running normally and in recovery mode. I thought this might be a better way to backup my storage since connecting via a USB cable to a computer takes a very long time.
Edit: Working now, seems that the S6 does not like the Stickmount app but supports OTG without an extra app.
Thanks
I start by data:
Galaxy note sm-P905 lollipop pro 5.0.1 (formerly KitKat, and was rooted)
Problem: it does not work usb OTG (I tested one dedicated for galaxy note that has its own power supply, and one for any smartphone (without power support) )
Story: when I was the KitKat, i bought the OTG with power support, and recognized it without installing anything (I do not remember if i bought it before, or after the root). The fact is that i didnt used OTG too much, but when I had the lollipop (I tried rooted and non rooted), does not recognize any USB.
The funny thing is that when I check otg with otg checker app, it detects the OTG, but not the pendrive (if i put one).
The otg wich has own feed has a light, it illuminates when this one connected to the tablet , anyway checker recognizes the OTG but not pendrive.
I saw on the internet that the problem could be the kernel, but not how to find the stock. Try installing one with the odin but I put that value was incorrect.
current kernel:
3.4.0-4719750

You might try a different usb device if you haven't already.
I had a USB drive go bad on me and I thought I was having the same issue and tried multiple OTG adaptors before I figured out it was the drive.
Unfortunately I'm still on kitkat to avoid losing root but I thought I'd chime in just in case it turns out to be something simple.
Yesterday i went back to kk, and it recognized the hub usb (with power supply), but not the pendrive. I had to wipe all the data, and now im in lollipop again. I tried to flash cyanogen too but i haven't found it (well, i found it but i couldn't install it [tried with odin and TWRP])
Im a bit tired trying to solve this, so i've decided to give up and do an pendrive organizer with the hub :victory:
I have XZ Premium with android Pie but there is no way to use any USB flash drive because nothing happens when I insert one. While if I do the same thing with my LG V20 the phone detects all the usb flash drives without any problem. Can someone help me?
