[Q] No ringtones and music

Hi,
I recently updated my Sensation to newest ARHD (7.0) without wipe and my ringtones and music is gone. Also for many of apps if I open them, I'm getting FC, but in this case if I delete data for that app, the problem is gone, but I don't know what I should do in case of lost ringtones and music? When I'm trying to select ringtone all I got is empty list.

Unzip the attachment and copy and paste it into system folder in the root of your phone. And try to set the ringtone again from setting. See what will happen.

There was other problem. The sound files were present, but system couldn't see them, but I've fixed this and other problems by fixing permissions via recovery.
But thanks anyway!

Android Root System Folder Audio Format

Would anyone know offhand how to get Android root system folders to read all audio formats? They are .ogg under root>system>media>audio>ringtones & notifications by default. When I add .mp3, .wav & other .ogg files they can't be used. I'm running 6.0.1 N920P. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same as any version of Android, sound files go in sdcard/media.

Works fine for me, well, mp3's anyway, don't have any wav. I always put my favorite audio files in the system folder too. I put them in there before I flash the rom, but have also used FX or Root Explorer to just drop them in if I forgot before flashing.
Have no idea why your's wouldn't be working. I did it with both the PC3 odin (dropped them in afterword) and tdunham's deodex rom (dropped them in before flashing)

I've always done the same thing. Never before flashing though. Don't know why that should make any difference. mp3's & aac file have always played from the root folder just fine. I'm using his dedexed PC3 rom also. When I do it. It just plays a default tone for all 900 file! #$&^%(@! I made sure they all had the same read & write access & everything. It's all good though. I put them in the internal memory. Works the same. I'll leave well enough alone.
