[BOX] Galaxy R Upload/Download BOX

Hello guys et girls (if any present ) some of the download links in our forum are dead due the recent closure of some file sharing websites. So to avoid a recurrence of the above I have opened a Galaxy R's Box.
GALAXY R BOX:

You don't need a password to download anything from this Box, its only required if you want to help by uploading. If you want to help & upload PM me I'll send you the password right away.
I would request our forum members to help upload all the ROMs(Custom & Stock), Kernels (all the versions of the kernels), Wallpapers for our device, free and non warez apps, etc.
GALAXY R BOX DETAILS:
- Total space of 500 GB. ( which is as good as a HDD for Galaxy R forum's needs )
- Max file size of 2000 MB is allowed & there's no min limit.
- Files will be available for download for as long as the complete file is downloaded within every 90 days(apprx. 3 months).
- Password protected so that no one uploads any warez thereby taking down our Box.
- You can upload any file as long as the file isn't copyrighted and it is not illegal to share it with everyone.
- After uploading any file post the link in this thread as well as in the relevant thread so we can keep a track of what has been uploaded to the box.
- And lastly don't forget to hit 'Thanks' to the members who are uploading in this thread, it'll encourage them.

U can upload data files like savegames of games or usefull settings like eq etc, but cant upload warez, cracked apps/games etc.

It should, but we need to get more stuff in here and we gotta give the devs the password to upload the stuff they share up in this download box...

we have to request all the developers to upload hear and we need to provide them the password for uploading, then it will be useful.

That can be done easily I'll PM all the developers the password but we have to ensure that it is sticky'ed so that its visible to everyone & no one asks where to download from.

Hello Everyone.
Good News for everyone. I have decided to maintain a help thread at Xperia L community in order to keep the threads for development/general section more clean and better organised. I have been noticing for a long time that whenever new users join, they still are not sure about the rules and thus mistakenly post in the wrong sections too often. If any senior member points it out to them, mostly it is either ignored or taken personally. Thus I have decided a combined help section would be very helpful to the community and the questions which are sometimes left unanswered and lost in question answer forums, that would not happen again for all of you.
I would be personally answering all your questions and shall refer you to someone in case I feel someone else would be able to answer the same question in a more detailed way. Other users can feel free to answer as well if you think you can tackle the situation well and make sure while answering any question, you provide enough information to the users as well. You can easily link the users to posts if you think a question has been already answered.

Idea of this thread is to help and to be helped. So ask any question you have in mind related to Xperia L, Android, or anything at all as long as it is related to Xperia L directly or indirectly.
Make sure you are precise with your information
Be Detailed
Do not repeat the same thing again and again
Use search button to find if your question has been asked before. Do not repeat your question if it is answered before.
WHAT INFORMATION YOU MUST PROVIDE

2. Rom name with complete baseband/date/version
3. Kernel name
4. Any Mods you are using
5.If you are using Custom Rom, your flashing style i.e dirty/clean or you wiped anything else in specific
6. If you used any guide, link to the guide

9. Any method you tried that failed
10.Any other detail you think would be necessary
Make sure you provide as much details as possible. Things like my phone won't turn on please help would not be of any help to you or to the person answering. So please make sure you provide as much detail so we know exactly what is your problem and thus guide you in the right direction.

Although everyone likes to have their own customisation in a ROM and what features they are looking for, it is very hard to pin point which would suit you best. For now , the best thing you can do is test few roms like Resurrection Remix, PACMAN etc and see what suits you best.
As far as your stablility issues are concern, the BSOD is major problem in 12.1. I suggest you go back to CM12 nightlies from official website.

next request: remove this repartitioning guide! its the best methode to hardbrick your device...

There is a similair thread at the Galaxy Tab 2 forum. It might be best to ask a mod to pin this.
And @Joel16, I still have the device in my possession. (It's eating dust in my drawer) I'll check here regularly to help users if needed.

Did that. He said it wouldn't be help to pin it. Maybe quote users to this guide be helpful as everything is arranged here.
Added warning to partition guide

Known Problems and how to solve it:
1.

the wifi dont work after flashing Thunderzap boot.img via fastboot/flashtool.... on every rom

you flashed the Kernel but missed the modules and settings

flash the Thunderzap.zip via recovery (no need to wipe anything)

@SdtBarbarossa you could also add flashing supersu zip for #2. Your method is easier, of course, but personally i run to some issues with cm's default (ie titanium backup seems to prefer supersu). Not sure if it's just me though.

I've been using UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.45.zip since cm12 and have had no issues. I did have problems with another version (i can't remember which, unfortunately). [emoji4]

Why is Sony Xperia L lucky for custom ROMs, Kernels etc. I know that Soc (Snapdragon) has major requirement for this kinds of staff. However, I think, Xperia L has also something different and Which Sony Smart Phone are you suggest to buy after sony Xperia L supported like this?

[Completed] Stock ROM for Huawei Y625-u43: I found it!

After a lot of time searching on internet, someone else uploaded the stock rom for this cellphone (which for some reason its NOT in the oficial huawei page). Please notice that the link is not mine, I just found it.
By the way, I tried it on my cellphone and it worked!

ROM requests are not allowed. Also, if you want someone to build a ROM for you then you'll have to PM some developers here and ask them if they would be willing but you'll have to be willing buy another device like yours and donate that device to the developer. If you can't donate a device then you are wasting your time asking for a ROM.
If you can't or won't donate a device then you'll have to learn how to build ROMs for yourself. There are many guides for building your own ROM all over the Internet and there are many members here that have made their own recoveries and ROMs because their device was not supported by any developers.

As I'm in the same position with this phone I'm considering creating my own basic ROM for it. Although I'm good at IT in general I'm not a programmer or developer or Android expert so I'll need to ask one or two of my friends to help me with the compiling and makefile aspects of the task (according to a Youtube video).
My question is how much time my friends would need to put aside for this (as long as I do the downloading and use my PC to do all the compiling work).
I don't even want to ask them if it will take hours of their time.

Hours would be an understatement, more like days weeks or even months to iron out all the kinks.

mixer_paths.xml, I need an original file - Redmi note 6 pro under Pixel Experience

Hello guys,
(My account is new, so I can't post in the right section, administrator, please move it !)
Ok, I simply modify my mixer_path.xml in order to have more powerful headphone sound, but I didn't made any save, and obviously, my headphone is now no more working, bt and speaker works fine.
I'm under Pixel experience, this rom exactly :
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro (tulip)
Version: Pie
File name: PixelExperience_tulip-9.0-20190715-1050-OFFICIAL.zip
Can't post direct link because my account is new !
I can't reinstall my ROM due to some app like Google Auth, you know ...
So can someone give me a solution to install this zip on my computer, on an android simulator for example, or can someone give me his original file !!! (I prefer the first solution )
I'm open to any suggestion, thx in advance, much respect to read this, and even more if you answer me, thx guys !
