I don't know what happened but now I cannot use Super Night mode camera on my P8. Every time I use that mode, it will snap dark image and no countdown like usual (refer pic).. btw my phone is running on stock Android without any modification..
I've tried all this to solve the problem but still failed :
- cleared cache and data on camera app
- try manual settings in super night mode (ISO & Exposure)
- factory reset the phone in recovery mode (I can use the mode for awhile and then the problem occured again)
Hope you guys can help me because I love to use this camera mode...
I also try new ROM with clean installation but still not ok
same problem
The same thing over here. I think it is since the update to Android 6
Did someone resolve this?

Hello,
I don't know why but my Galaxy S6's back camera just keeps on force closing.
No matter what I try:
- Rebooting
- Flashing a new Rom through TWRP
- Odin to stock
- Wipe everything on recovery
- Clear camera cache, data and force stop it
-Booting into Safe Mode
I'm out of ideas, anyone know how this can be fixed?
I would also like to add that, about 2 months ago the same thing happened to my phone and after trying all of the above that time also, nothing was working. I took it to tmobile and a representetive asked me "have you tried rebooting?" And as he asked he was rebooting my phone in front of me. I said "Yes" and when the phone booted back up, he opened the Camera app and it was working -__-
I have been rebooting for the past 2 days hoping for that to happen again, to no avail.
Hello!
My brother has a problem with his Moto G 2015 - front camera is not working anymore. We tried almost everything - clearing Camera app cache, phone cache from recovery and finally - factory reset.
Is there any known solution for this problem?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I have enclosed an screenshot from phone when we tried to open front camera - "Camera is busy. Can not start the camera. If the problem persists, reboot the phone.".
Greetings.
Do one thing ... Reboot ur device to safe mode >>> this can be done by pressing the power button for a while and u will safe mode and reboot it and c if the problem persists and plz report back
Thank you for the reply, and sorry for the delay from my side . I tried to start the front camera in safe mode but the problem still persists .

and check if the problem is solved or not if not then take the phone to SC
I had installed 5.1.5 installed and rooted without TWRP. Then 5.1.6 was released and also TWRP official. So I went to a fresh install. Flashed the OP6 through fastboot to 5.1.6 then installed TWRP, then Magisk and lastly xposed. I didn't enable any modules in Magisk or xposed. Now about the problem:
When I open the camera app it takes me to Photo mode. If i switch to video mode all ok. If I switch to portrait mode the screen turns black and it brings me back to the homescreen. If I enable the front camera the portrait mode works. I tried and deleted data and cache of camera app. Still the same. Any ideas anyone?
I did the same exact process of installation but without any root or twrp. I also lost portrait mode. What I did is I installed 5.1.6 from Software Update->local sources and then the portrait was back. However after factory reset it was gone completely. Then I wiped app data and rebooted. Now I do have portrait mode working. Not sure what is going on but something is off with stock camera app.
Thanks Doctor... Wished there was another solution easier.. Maybe if I push the camera apk in the system? Could someone provide me with camera apk from 5.1.6?
also having this problem
I am also having this problem on 5.1.8
Did any of you guys resolved this issue? On 5.1.9 my solution no longer seems to work.
