If I well remember, after the rom B321 can not unlock the bootloader. You need to reinstall the B321 by DLOAD method or use Hisuite to return to some B180, B182, B185 ... depending on the model of your Mate8. In my case I am in B352 with a DL00, when I plug in Hisuite, it gives me the option to return the B182.

Hey,
I have a problem with unlock the bootloader. I saw that there are a lot of problem, but I didn't find any good idea.
I have Sony Xperia J(4.2.1) with kernel 11.2.A.0.21. I tried the official steps, but I have a little bit problem with the fastboot mod I think. The official website write that the fastboot button is the Volume up button, but when I tried it the command window has frozed while it wrote me that: << waiting for device >> like this: http://kepkezelo.com/images/g4yxuosyez5vrgq07nky.jpg
Then I tried to unlock the bootloader with the flashtool but it's frozed too like this: http://kepkezelo.com/images/el7v56a56qw7dpzwwvfs.jpg
I tried it with usb debugging on and tired too when it was off. I tired to change the firmware to ST26i_11.0.A.7.5_CE and of course it was bad too. Somebody could help me please?

Can you please follow the first two steps from the official Sony page please?
First, you should confirm that it is possible to unlock the boot loader of your device by checking the service menu. In your device, open the dialler and enter *#*#7378423#*#* to access the service menu. If you have a tablet, click here to learn how access the service menu.
In your device, tap Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes, then you can continue with the next step. If it says No, or if the status is missing, your device cannot be unlocked.

Download the firmware file from here: http://d-h.st/PsQ
Download flashtool from here: http://androxyde.github.io/ (DON'T change the install path)
1) Install flashtool and install the drivers from the path C:\Flashtool\drivers
2) Download the firmware file and move it to the path C:\Flashtool\firmwares
3) Close any processes related to PC Companion whilst in Task Manager.
4) Disconnect your phone from the computer.
5) Click the lightning bolt, select your firmware from the new window. DON'T change any of the settings, click OK.
6) Wait for the file to finish preparing. Flashtool will then ask you to connect your device in flashmode.
7a) Take your battery out of your phone.
7b) Connect the large end of your USB cable to your computer
7c) Connect the small end of the USB cable to your phone while holding volume down (-).
7d) Put your battery back in whilst still holding volume down (-) (a green LED should come up).
8) Wait for flashtool to finish flashing your phone.
9) Enjoy android 4.0.4

Hello,
I've been pulling my hair for a a week now, a friend of mine gave me he's MiMix 2S.
Last time he used it he forgot to select clean all, so he has flashed with clean and lock.
Now the phone says "system has been destroyed".
I've tried the MiUnlockTool, but it failed a 50% of detecting the devices.
I've tried the flash oem unlock, failed too.

Somebody knows what to do ?
After some digging I've found that half of the issue that I had was mainly due to my AMD pc.
Since then i've tried multiple things.
Tried Miui unlock web site : Doesn't seems to work.
Tried to flash to stock ROM : failed
Tried MI Unlock : Failed
Tried EDL Unlock : Partially work but without an EDL account it's no use.
Fastboot oem unlock : Failed.
TWRP recovery : Failed.
I not used to Android, since i'm mainly using iphone, so did i miss something ?
Well, you need to unlock the phone. That will solve the system destroyed problem.
Now, the MiUnlockTool stuck tool at 50% is probably an issue of drivers/issue with your computer.
Uninstall all android and device drivers from your pc. Restart, etc..
Then install only this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
Also when unlocking and/or flashing, use one of the usb ports directly on the motherboard, on the back of your pc.
Well the 50% thing was due to me using an AMD pc, I switch to an Intel one and it worked.

So you managed to fix your phone? Or is something else failing now when you try to unlock? What exactly?
I'm trying to unlock before flashing to stock rom, since i've got the message "system is destroyed"
I finally found some part of a solution for my unlocking, BUT i need to access the developpers options.
Since the phone cannot boot past fastboot is there any way to enable this option remotly ?
Like with a fastbook command ?

I do not think so.
But I was wondering what exactly fails when you try to unlock it yourself?
You say it doesn't seem to work, but what doesn't work, what is the error? What fails? Which procedure do you follow to unlock?
Hello,
My process was :
Since I know that my bootloader is locked (confirmed by the fastboot command) , my first try was to install a stock rom.
And it failed with the mismatch error then he failed with : Erase is not Allowed in locked state.
Then I tried the Unclocker tool who ask me to unlock in the developer option.
Then i tried the fastboot unclock command, doesn't work either.
Then flashing only with TWRP recovery and it doesn't work too.
And mainly followed this guide https://c.mi.com/thread-1479882-1-0.html.
Hello, I have moderate experience as an Android developer but I don't know much about custom ROMs.
Last weekend my cell phone died and for a temporary replacement I walked into an iffy local repair store and asked them for the cheapest Android phone they had. They gave me a preowned Z3352CA which I think is a "ZTE Blade A3 L". It is running Android 9 Build number Z3352CAV1.0.B03 ("Android Go"). It's pretty nice. However I have a sense buying a preowned Android is probably about as safe as sticking your hand in a garbage disposal. I did a factory reset first thing, but I would like to be reasonably certain the thing the factory reset installed was a legitimate ZTE OS with no extra presents from the previous owner like spyware*.
I asked a question in the ZTE Blade forum but got no responses, which is unsurprising for a question about a old and obscure budget phone. Trying again in here-- I understand people probably don't know about ZTE/ZTE Blade phones specifically, so I would like to ask some general questions about how to use fastboot or what you'd expect with a normal Android 9 ("go") device.
Specifically I found an iffy article describing bootloader unlock procedures, with this screenshot:

"Device tampered" caught my eye. Some discussions I see online about fastboot reference this "device tampered" flag. I am interested in this. If I had to guess, I'd guess this flag is supposed to go true if the device is unlocked and stay true even if the device is re-locked. To be clear, right now I *don't want* the bootloader unlocked. What I want is to be sure nobody before me has ever unlocked the bootloader.
When I saw this I attempted to put the phone into Fastboot Mode. I can't tell if this worked or not. I started up with the "volume up" and power buttons held, which dropped me into "Recovery Mode". It said "Android Recovery" at the top and offered a menu of options, one was "Reboot to Bootloader". I selected this and was sent to a black screen with "=> FASTBOOT mode..." in the bottom left corner in a terminal font. Nothing happens at this screen. The up and down volume buttons, and the power button, do nothing (I can boot the phone normally by holding the power button down 3 seconds). I can't tell if this is fastboot mode or not. If I run fastboot.exe devices on my Windows 10 machine, it is not able to see or connect to the phone in "=> FASTBOOT mode..." mode. (I have the normal Windows Android drivers installed for running adb but have not installed the ZTE specific drivers.)
I dropped the phone into Developer Mode and looked in Developer Options. I saw an "OEM unlocking" checkbox, which is unchecked. I thought: Maybe this will let me talk to fastboot. But if I tap it, it says:
Allow OEM unlocking?Warning: Device protection features will not work on this device while this setting is turned on.
I tapped "cancel" because at this point it occurred to me this switch, by itself, might qualify as "tampering".
(Other things I tried: I ran the app "SafetyNet Test" from Google Play and it said I passed. I enabled USB debugging and was able to connect to the device with adb. I tried "adb.exe reboot bootloader" but it just took me back to the "=> FASTBOOT mode..." screen. I looked on the Android Developer website for documentation of "fastboot oem device-info" but couldn't find anything.)
TLDR, what I am trying to figure out:
Is fastboot oem device-info documented anywhere? Is it an Android thing or a OEM specific thing? If its meaning is not fully standard, are there conventions?
What should I expect the "Device tampered" key in fastboot oem device-info to mean?
What effect should I expect the "Allow OEM unlocking" checkbox in Developer Options to have (either on fastboot, or on the "Device tampered" key?
Can either fastboot.exe or adb.exe tell me whether the device has ever been bootloader unlocked?
What will checking "Allow OEM unlocking" in Developer Options do? Will it allow me to talk to Fastboot? Will it result in the phone being flagged as "tampered'?
Generally is there anything I can do, with the tools available to me (ADB, and fastboot if I can make it work) to ensure a used phone has not had durable malware added and I am running a vendor-stock OS?
* I am also interested in any info as to the probability ZTE itself or the ZTE default ROM is spyware-ing me.

How to Re-Lock Bootloader Samsung Galaxy Devices
Hi.
So, I was playing a game like everyday with my phone and then it suddenly stopped working and rebooted. After the reboot it got stuck on a boot-loop and wasn't unable to boot normally again. I got into the recovery and after many tries I was able to reinstall the ROM (PixelExperience 12-Plus) but after a few minutes it stopped working again and got into the boot-loop... again. I tried to reinstall the ROM again but I wasn't able to, so I decided to try with another recovery, I was using OrangeFox and after that I tried with TWRP. I got it to work with TWRP but then it crashed again but before doing it I got this screen:

It never happened before and I was scared, "Did I just broke my phone?" I thought. So I asked a friend for help and he told me to try with Fastboot, he sent me a few command lines to try and... I ****ed up. The first line that I wrote was "fastboot oem lock" and the phone rebooted with this screen:
I literally locked the bootloader and now I'm unable to flash any ROM or even unlock it with MI-Unlocker 'cause I didn't have any MI account on the phone. I still can get into the fastboot but no more than that.
Is there anything that I can do? Or I should just send it to repair? Or buy a new brain for myself?

Lesson #1: Never do something when you don't know what the outcome will be, unless you're able to accept negative consequences. You should NEVER EVER lock the bootloader on custom firmware unless a custom root of trust has been installed, as with CalyxOS/GrapheneOS/etc.
Try to unlock the bootloader using fastboot flashing unlock or fastboot oem unlock
If those don't work, your phone is bricked, and you're going to have to either have it repaired or replace it, both of which will be expensive.

That won't work, to unlock this phone you must use the Xiaomi official tool: https://en.miui.com/unlock/download_en.html
@SalmonellaREAL now you must pay to unlock it with an official Xiaomi account for EDL or you must go to an official repair center. I recommend you the second option, I never tried first.
Never lock bootloader unless the ROM has a self signed certifcates, in vayu there aren't any ROM with this.

I believe you can still use ADB as long as you use the correct token for the unlock. I'm not very familiar with Xiaomi phones though so I'm not sure what the correct syntax would be.
I did find this:

Description says it can retrieve the bootloader unlock token and unlock the device.
