Hello XDA Developers, I want to dual boot my YUPhoria with Ubuntu Touch. For that I followed the steps from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2587823 . Installation was success but when boot in Ubuntu, it boots in recovery instead of booting ubuntu.
Anyway, I request you developers to please port Ubuntu Touch to be installed on YUPhoria or any successful step to dual boot using Ubuntuinstaller.apk
Thank You

Hello,
I own a Smartfren Andromax C3 a.k.a. Haier AD6B1H with stock ROM (Android Kitkat 4.4.2) and rooted. Recently I'm trying to update my OS to cyanogenmod but there's no official support for my device, so I take a look at how to port recovery as the first step in cyanogenmod, xda university and koushikdutta site.
I follow the steps as told and success make a recovery.img file, but when I reboot to recovery mode it stuck at boot screen. I remove the battery, wait and put it back to the phone then try recovery mode again but the result is the same as before. Then I try normal boot and success boot to home screen and running as usual without problem. So I change the recovery to stock file and success boot into recovery mode.
How to make the custom recovery running just like the stock without stuck at the boot screen?
I am having Yu Yuphoria running cyano12.1
I want to install miui ROM and for that i rooted my device and flashed twrp recovery but after rebooting from in recovery mode cyanogen recovery comes up i consulted my friend who has succesfully done that. he made some changes to bootloader(as he told me) after that my mobile got stuck on company logo. nothing comes up, not even recovery screen. Now i am helpless. from developers option adb is also turned off.
Please help.

Hi, I'm using Walton Primo S3 which runs mt6592. I am running the stock KitKat ROM & rooted. I just used easy magic philz installer for mtk devices. It said the recovery is installed & rebooted, but stuck at the boot logo. I tried booting into recovery manually too, and from ROM manager, but it still sticks to the boot logo. Can anybody help me get into the recovery? Thanks in advance.
PS: my OS is working fine, but it gets stuck when I try to boot into recovery.
Sent from my WALTON Primo S3 using XDA Free mobile app

I'm using custom ROM for some years..now i flashed android pie (havoc 2.0) for device built using twrp . it flashed successfully but it started looping in boot logo (LENOVO POWERED BY ANDROID ) . when i try to flash stable rom using twrp again it started boot looping. now i'm not able to goto twrp. so i flashed stock rom using QFIL it say firehose error. when I try with QcomDLoader tool it says "passed" and successfully flashed . when i try to boot it ..again boot logo looping.. but this stock recovery was working.
but I'm not able to flash twrp using adb sideload or fastboot .. it showing error.

I don't have this device but, your best bet is to post this question within the following Havoc Firmware thread that's specific to your device for support and guidance.
