I bought an lg g5 gold color and the camera module after using both this line or showed up next to the camera on the metal frame.. Was wondering if anyone else has it. I went to T-Mobile to see if it was a defect and they told me it's there by default. Want to know if I should exchange it before my 14days are up

I recently got an xperia e on orange pay as you go from my local carphone warehouse. Last night i noticed a blue/white spot on the screen. After looking at the screen closely more smailer specs appear when you tilt the device around but this one stays visible throughout. They are especially visible in the dark but not so much in sunlight. Another thing to note is that it only appears on dark backgrounds e.g. black.
I have tried a stuck pixel fixer for about half an hour but to no avail.
Since its only a few days old i thought i could return it to carphone warehouse but dose anyone have experience of doing this. I know, because i got my phone on orange, that i can not just replace it for no reason. However i would like to know would they try to fob me off by saying that they can't see them or saying there needs to be more of them to warrant a return. There are a few other things i could say to get a return. For example the proximity sensor does not work in the diagnostics app and there is "no signal" at my house Its hard to get a picture of it otherwise i would've included one.
So really my question is should i try and return it (in the uk we have pretty strong consumer laws (the sale of goods act)) or should I just ignore it and run the flashing light show for longer.
Thanks
James

You have 6 months to return a product that is faulty and the vendor has to prove that the product wasn't faulty when you purchased it, if they cant then you are allowed your money back, a credit note or an exchange. Take it back and tell them the problem.
I have a problem with the rearward camera. Today I was taking a college photo and opened the camera and it looked nothing, everything looks blurry. Arriving home I opened the phone to clean the camera thinking it was dirty, but nothing, everything looks blurry.
A if you take the phone for service of my company, but as we wanted to release the bootloader not accept me even if it still has warranty cell.
I wonder if anyone knows where I can find a new camera module for my phone. It would be a shame to use leave for two months I just have to.
Clarify that the problem has to do with the software already changed ROMs and the problem is the same.
The problem is hardware but can not find any place that sells the camera for refaccion.
Is anyone else having this issue? My pictures from the 360 camera sometimes cut off the bottom 20-40% of the image, leaving just a big black circle when viewed.
I'm already debating whether or not to return the phone for a refund since getting a warranty replacement for the missing earpiece mesh is like pulling teeth. If the camera accessory isn't going to be reliable either I'm going to call the whole thing a failure and move on to the MI Mix 2.
Not on mine. Your's seems to have a problem.
Probably. Doesn't matter, I wrote Essential to start a return today. Going to go for the Mi Mix 2 or wait for the Pixel XL 2, and buy a USB-C 360 cam - there are a couple on Amazon that technically have lower resolution but reviewer photos look pretty good.
Hi everyone,
Hope you are all safe and well.
A dark spot appareared in the main rear camera of my S10e (photo attached) about a month ago. I tried all different tips (shaking the phone, dropping it, etc ,etc). It clearly seems the particle is within or above the sensor, as I cleaned the lens several times. Only solution they gave me at Samsung is to replace the camera module. Only problem is that I bought this from a HK retailer and they won´t do it here, unless I send the phone over there to repair (I am currently in Spain!). So my question is: does anyone know if the camera module is specific for the SM-G9700, or modules from other S10e models should work as well?. My plan (and I think only alternative to fix this) is to buy the main camera module online and ask a local repair shop to replace the module. Any suggestions, tips, help will be really aprreciated. Thanks
Looks almost like a little bit of debris fallen from somewhere else inside the phone after manaufacture. Samsung seal up their phones pretty well. Glue together job. Pity you can't just send the phone back....
Looking for help, I replaced the LCD screen on my note 20 ultra now the front selfie camera will not come on when I try it says warning camera failed.
The replacement that I bought came with the frame the front camera and the LCD screen everything works as normal as it should except for the camera the camera worked fine before I put the new LCD screen in. Little research and supposedly possibly the camera I got with the new screen was the international variant I have the Snapdragon note 20 ultra and was told those cameras are not compatible with the US version so I bought a US version camera and put it in still doesn't work I've done everything I can think of soft restarts restart in a safe mode only thing I haven't done is a factory reset I don't know how that would fix it but is that an option? I was also told to take my old camera and put it in with the new frame which I would have done had I'd known beforehand and thrown everything away so that camera is gone I figured hey I got a new camera why use the old one right? Any help or ideas would be gratefully appreciated I've made sure the connections are good in the phone I've checked several times like I said everything is fine except for the front camera
I just got done doing a screen/frame replacement on a Note 20 Ultra. I purchased a international unit, and the same thing happened to me. I just swapped over the original camera, and it worked fine. I believe Samsung paired the front camera on the Note 20. You're more than likely going to have to have it paired again. With Samsung releasing their parts through Ifixit soon, you maybe able to get that part working.
