sorry for my bad english! I am a guy from Germany and i have the Nexus 7 as a car stereo. I use the App Poweramp for my music and it runs very well.
I like the default skin, but i will have my own wallpaper on it. I am a big noog with the Android SDk, so i am looking for here for help. Can anybody explain me, how i can get my own wallpaper, instead of the normal PowerAmp back, in the app?
i hope i am posting in the right forum.

is there a way to stop the android music player from using low resolution thumbnails instead of my high quality id3-tag album art?

But it seems like the problem has not been "fixed" (if google already managed to take it as a serious bug or issue in their own software) yet and the problem will also not be fixed in the future...

Welcome to the forum, I'd say just use a better app. I use PlayerPro and it looks and works beautifully. You can choose embedded ID3 Art, or download art through the player and if it downloads the wrong art (which rarely happens) You can look up art through PlayerPro and find the correct one and choose it in under 10 seconds usually.

i installed the player... of course it is not bad, but i like to use the original HTC one, because of the sense integration and so on... i already tried a lot of different players like cube, or mortplayer music... but they do not fulfill my expectations...
so if someone could give me a solution for the basic problem... i'd give him/her thousands of thanks

Title kinda misleading. I always look for new music, and was hoping it gave a bunch of suggestions ^^

Recently went from iphone to galaxy note and I'm lovin it soo far...there are however a couple of thingd that I do miss. There's this iphone app called music player pro, which lets you use swipe gestures on the screen. The really cool thing is that these commands can be done while the screen is turned off. Is there an android alternative? I've searched the market to no avail.
Go for "PowerAMP Music Player", it's on the market - won't be disappointed

PowerAMP works for LiveView (or whatever the SE's watch widget is called) through an app. You might want to ask MaxMP
the dev is very friendly, if it doesn't support it, there's a good chance he'll try to make it work.
I have been looking at the same topic. Have a Galaxy Note and only the stock player displays trackinfo on the MW600.
Apparently, that is OEM addon to Android, and hence closed source. As per this thread, Poweramp 2.1 might include that feature... or might not!

I'm looking for a skin for a music player (any) that I saw, maybe in the old Mi2. It was like a old tape walkman and, while the music was playing, the "tape" seemed to move in circles like a walkman (centuries ago ).
I supose that it was on the official xiaomi player, probably...
Well, is it possible to find it and install on a Mi4 LTE? Any help would be very appreciated.
