Password required to decrypt...

Good morning guys, last night my Verizon htc one m8 was working (unlocked from carrier I suppose, I bought it thru eBay and it works in India GSM network).
But in the morning found it to be dead. So plugged in my usual charging hub(35w,8amp). It booted into bootloader.
I left it to charge... Googled and then used the original charger then it booted back or I should say I found this screen. Which asks decrypt password needed.
My mobile was never decrypted.
I tried factory reset available on the same screen, it will again not after sometime and back at the screen.
Below is the screenshot of the bootloader.

Since it's a Verizon brand m8 you'll need to use sunshine to unlock bootloader and to get s-off. Then you'll be able to flash twrp and then be able to flash different roms. But I believe you should only flash roms for the Verizon m8

Hi thanks for the reply. But sunshine bootloader unlock requires an app to be installed. Which I couldn't. Since I can't enter the mobile at all. Is there a alternate way to unlock BL?

Have you tried running the RUU? If all goes well it will boot up to stock ROM, and then you can run sunshine.

Use dc-unlocker to unlock the bootloader. It will cost you around 3$ but is the way to go. There is a tutorial on the homepage how to do that.

Mobile Doctor V2 ?

I've been trying to use the Mobile Doctor, without success.
When I connect by USB it gives me the message:
1. Invalid device software version. The device may have been upgraded incorrectly.
2. Invalid device hardware version. The device may have been upgraded incorrectly.
and then puts up a login box asking for the Web UI and password.
I have already created a Huawei web account and used the same login information here, but it doesn't accept it.
Is there another ID I should use?
How do I get into this please?
Has no-one else tried this program? Looks like it could be useful - if you can run it...

I got an answer for this from Huawei. The MobileDoctor program is not intended for phones, even though it is linked from the Mate 9 support site.
