Galaxy S6 fast charging no longer working. - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I have owned my Samsung Galaxy S6 for a little over 5 months now and about a week ago fast charging stopped working. I have searched around on the web and have found no info. Here are some details on what happens when I plug my phone in:
70% of the time I will plug it in and in the notification bar it will say cable charging x hours remaining.
the other 30% of the time it will go to a black screen with a white x in the corner. After a bit of researching this is the phone going into vr mode. The phone goes completely unresponsive and I have to hold the volume down and power key to force restart the phone.
I have also tried fully reseting the phone but it is still not working. I have also tried using my friends fast charger and also had no luck. Any help appreciated! :/
Without fast charging it charges unbelievably slowly... 4 hours to charge from 6% to 100% with the phone fully powered off. 6 hours to charge it to 100% when it is switched on.

[Q] P3113 Won't Turn On Or Charge

*The tablet is completely stock, other than a couple apps, like a dictionary and google translate*
I got a Galaxy Tab 2 7 inch a little while ago for school use, and didn't use it much after Spring finals. But when I went to use it today, it would not turn back on. Thinking that the battery had been drained from being left on for an extended period, I plugged it in. What I found was that it would stay black for a couple seconds then show the battery with the stuck loading circle. It then shows the quarter and half charging increments in orange and shuts back off for a couple seconds. I have attached a gif in case my explanation of the animation is not sufficient.
Edit: My problem was purely hardware. The battery had failed somehow, and I fixed the problem with an OEM replacement battery. I'm glad that it was that easy to fix, and I hope that this can help someone else with the same problem.

you charging using direct charging adapter or USB charging?
based on my experience ...
1. If you tab out of the battery to 0%, can not be charged using usb charge for charging low power and not enough ..
2., And if you run out of battery at 0% and you charge using the adapter charges but still can not keep his charge, and so the possibility is still there charging cable / USB you are damaged .. if so you should try to use another cable / new and charging using adapter ..
try it ... I think maybe it will solve your problem ..

[Wrong Forum]Stock HTC One X+ turning on, but not charging since full drain.

I read loads of similar issues, but mine is a little different:
I heavily used my stock-rom, unrooted phone today, recorded long videos in Full HD, when I got back home, I had 18% battery, plugged it into my computer's USB to get the videos (unaware of the issue of insufficient current on USB ports) and windows did not recognize it.
I then unplugged it planning to plug it into the wall socket, and when I woke the phone, it died on my arms
A little annoyed, I plugged it into the wall socket, and got the slow, orange blinking LED, and was not able to turn the phone on. After 30 minutes, the LED stabilized and it seemed to be charging (while off), so I left it there for another 20 minutes.
When I tried to turn the phone on, it worked, normally, but showed 2% battery life remaining. I had Wi-Fi on, but normally it wouldn't be an issue, so I left it charging for another 20 minutes.
I then woke the device and it showed 1% battery left! While plugged in! I tried to wake it and it died again.
I left it there for an hour or so, turned it back on, 6% battery left, I then turned Airplane Mode on so it would charge faster. After 10 minutes in Airplane Mode, it still shows 6%. It is not charging, I'm using the original HTC charger and cable.
It seems like it is not charging at all when on, and charging VERY slowly when off.
Tried a few tricks I read online, such as holding the volume up + volume down + power button for 2 minutes, but all I got was a steady flashing recovery screen, which says my battery is too low for flashing.
So the difference between mine and other posts is that my stock phone is turning on, but not charging anymore. If I turn Airplane Mode off, it drains itself even while plugged into the charger.
I'm really looking for a solution for this, instead of simply returning it (it's more than one year old, and I bought it overseas) or buying a new phone.
EDIT: Batter Widget app showed Charging Speed: n/a. Testing says battery health: good, 3666 mv, "charging" status

[Q] S6 Says It Is Charging But Isn't

Hi guys, been a while since i've posted but hopefully someone can help.
My S6 on Three was working perfectly fine until today when my battery ran out at 7am this morning during my early shift.
Got home and put it on charge and left it plugged in by the side of my bed. I woke up a few hours later and the phone booted, said I had 1% battery and then turned itself off.
I have tried my charger from my other s6 but the best it will do is boot up and say it has 1% and then it closes down.
I then tried the charger and it keeps making a noise like the charger is disconnecting.
Any advice please?

Samsung Galaxy S3 wont turn on or charge anymore (please help!)

Hello,
My Galaxy S3 doesn't turn on or charge. Three days ago I left it charging (it had around 20% battery) and after some hours time when I came back to check up on it it wasn't charging and could not be turned on anymore.
I bought a new battery and tried turning it on or charging it with this new battery and nothings happens.
When plugged in the red light doesn't turn on and the classic screen with the green battery doesn't appear
When leaving the power button on, no response is given.
If you could give some advice on what the problem could be and how to fix it...I thought that it could be the charging port but even if this is the case and you have some tips on how to fix it I would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!

Phone wont charge and wont turn on.

Hello Everyone,
I have been using the Samsung Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955U1) for the last six months.
Sometime early this week the phone battery started draining and i kept the phone to charge every time it drained the battery.
One night the battery was about 55% and when i woke up it was totally drained out and post that the phone wont charge again.
Now when am putting the phone to charge it shows the charging sign with the circle, but the phone wont charge or turn on.
I tried doing soft reset a couple of times, the phone would start upto the Samsung Logo and would go back to charging sign again.
Would like to know if anyone has a similar problem and if there's any solution to this problem?
Thanks!
