Hi, i have a Galaxy Note 2, but i had a boot loop that make me reset everything and install the Stock Rom with ODIN, so i did it but months ago my wifi got broken, the Antenna Wifi of my Galaxy 2 is broken and i don't know how to fix it and i don't have enough time to go to a center that repair my phone, so i start downloading my apps with my mobile data, but there is some apps that are to heavy and my plan of mobile data is running out, so i decided to download my apps with tools that are on internet like the APK Evozi and APK Pure and somethings like that, but i had pay for apps that i want to download but i can't because my wifi is broken, so i want to know if there is any tool in which i can download my payed apps in my pc.

I have a DROID2 from Verizon Wireless running Android 2.2.3 Froyo, and have owned it for ~a year. One Day in early 2011 things started going wrong, like vibrate wouldn't work on messages (sms and email, using GoSms), my stock battery manager that told me % usage since last charge would crash when clicked, gmail and calendar wouldn't sync. I talked to a friend, backed up my phone, and reset to factory settings. then, he said that rooting was amazing, so I broke down, rooted my phone, backed it up with Droid X bootstrap recovery, and thought it was great. then my phone started to continually boot in recovery mode, even after I removed root and bootstrap. it also ran strangely sometimes and would be slow, but I figured that was my impatience. so i decided one day to root my phone (using z4root), use a root explorer, search my system files for ANYTHING with "recovery" that to me looked like that stupid bootstrap placed (because i read somewhere it made a file and it stayed in my system) and deleted those files. now, I have new problems:
apps that I had a few days ago (8-16-2011) and have NOT updated won't work on my phone from the market. the market app does not give me the ability to download, and online it says its not compatible with my phone, which is bull crap because I downloaded AND used the apps the day before, but deleted and wanted them back. some apps include: facebook, Heywire (2.6.1), and Adobe Flash 10.3. I reset my phone to factory TWICE yesterday in attempt to fix. when the phone first loads, the OLD market is installed, which I used to download Heywire before the new update came, which then said the SAME VERSION of Heywire is not compatible. there are also a few minor errors I have, the stock email app picture doesn't show in status bar, it is very slow, etc. I am currently NOT rooted and NEVER flashed a Rom. My friend said that I could just replace some files and it should be fine. Also, I have issues when powering on my phone. when I turn it off, to turn it back on I must 1. turn on 2. wait for Motorola "M" screen to dim 3. remove battery 4. turn on and wait for boot up My question is:
1. How do I figure out all the files I need?
2. Where can I get these files?
3. Is there a way I can get root access and just copy paste ALL system files back to the phone as if it is fresh out of the box?
Hello, hoping someone here can help me. I have the galaxy player 5 (yp-g70cwy/xaa). When I first got it ran a software program that only allowed it to do one thing which was rate tv programs that I watched. I did a factory reset, wiped the cache and the davlik cache as well...after that the phone would only open as far as the samsung logo.
I recently started tinkering with it again and I rooted the phone, flashed the rom, used .pit files, with odin and superoneclick. I recently used android commander and I finally saw life! The only problem is that I will either get the message the setup wizard is not working and it will leave me on a blank screen that only shows the time, battery, and whether or not the usb is connected. I can connect the usb to the computer and drag and drop stuff into the ext sd card. The internal memory and internal sd card do not read. My computer shows the yp-g70 in devices but it will not show it under removable devices.
When I connect it to android commander I can see all the files on the device and I was finally able to get the phone to the play store. I logged on using my gmail account and I was able to download apps (that all worked fine). I used some third party apps to do what the phone could not do which was open up the settings, camera, etc. The home screen is completely blank. The lock screen shows the wallpaper I downloaded but not the home screen. After awhile the phone turned off with a full battery and it will only work if I reset to factory defaults but then I have to register with google all over again. Does not save anything!
Can anyone please tell me how to fix this device. I have been working on it for a week already and no improvement.
Update
I now have the phone to where it can download items from the play store. I can use the device like normal But I had to download an app for the start key because I cannot get to the options without it. When i downloaded and rebooted the recovery it still gets stuck at the samsung logo. I have to type something into the search bar in the android commander and the phone boots to the play store. It randomly turns off and I have to recover the files all over again...I dont know. It seems like an improvement but yet I know that there is a file in this phone that is bad. I downloaded anti virus but it is still not picking up anything.
any luck on this?
I have the same one and just started looking to see how I can tinker with it .. .
I have a GNEX running 4.3 build JWR66Y that I was using up until a few weeks ago when I got the S4, both Verizon, Got my S4 pretty much situated since it's an i545 and still not much offered for it by developers. But its ok. So I hear today that you can get kit kat 4.4 on the GNEX ( mine has been rooted for as long as I've had it). Problem I had was that when I recently upgraded my ROM from 4.1.2 to 4.3 it got screwed up and I ended up with no play store and none of my root apps. I think I lost root. So I go back to the Nexus master Wugfresh. download the tool box go thru the whole process, removed drivers, everything. Wiped it and went thru the root process again and checked the box to have a custom rom flashed at the same time. I get done and I have SuperSU but no play store so I cant get Titanium backup, CWM. TWRP. Nothing. I look into it some and I discovery I didnt have the wifi on when I opened SuperSU so no updated Binaries. I use my S4 as my hot spot and it easily supports my pc, iPad, and iPod all together at the same time. So I go into my gnex to turn on wifi and it just will not connect. It will say, "getting IP address" or checking connection, but it never fully connects. Now I know it worked earlier today because I used it just to see if it would work as a wireless device without phone service. So without the play store, a good wifi connection to get the binaries when I open SuperSU and no idea how I would even get the play store (was gonna try to download some g-apps to get it if I ever get that far) I'm seemingly stuck with no where to turn. At this point I've got no options unless I can find another internet source but I really don't think that's the issue since it works or every other device in the house. Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Michael S
Hello,
I have a Verizon S3 (SCH-I535) which I've been using for over a year now. I decided to root the phone about a month ago with TowelRoot and everything seemed fine. But just a few days after I had rooted my phone, Verizon issued their KitKat update for my phone (I dont know why I received the update a few months late). I didn't want to update because I knew that if I did, it would just soft-brick my phone. So I thought I would just connect my phone to Odin and load the stock 4.3 firmware back onto my phone (since deleting the root files won't really have any effect). But when I tried connecting my phone to the computer, the computer won't even recognize it (I had the drivers installed). It charges, but it won't get recognized on any computer I plug it into. After this, I realized that the micro USB module got messed up.After my phone wouldn't connect to the computer, I thought that if I had just soft-bricked the phone by trying to install the update and then restarted the phone from recovery, I could just boot up my phone regularly and I wouldn't get the update anymore. I didn't want the update constantly bugging me every single time I used my phone. But to my dismay, the update downloads once every 24 hours. So I used my phone for a few days, but then I realized I that had another problem, none of the Google apps (Play Store, Google+, Hangouts, etc.) were working. So I decided to clear the cache and memory of all of them and sign out and into Google services again. When I tried signing back in, it would say that I couldn't establish a reliable connection to the server, even if I had really fast internet. Along with these problems, I don't receive notifications from any app even if I turn them on and some apps are starting to crash when I open them up, such as the camera app. I've tried a number of solutions, such as trying to install CyanogenMod through Clockwork, but none of that works because of Verizon's locked bootloader. I've even tried factory resetting, and it still soft-bricks that way. Could anyone please help me with this? Thanks.
Need some help, otherwise I'll end up costing myself about $150 for something I'll end up breaking into pieces.
My mother needed Google Play Store and Services installed. So naturally what I did was root the phone with KingRoot APK, worked fine.
Install TWRP via fastboot ---> Non-unlocked bootloader --> Nothing under fastboot devices ---> fastboot oem unlock didn't work either.
So I downloaded the APK for this "EZUnlocker" c**p. Bricked the phone, hard-bricked, doesn't vibrate or turn on, nothing. Doesn't even charge, show LED's or ANYTHING.
I've looked almost EVERYWHERE now and wasted almost 1GB of my Internet cap on this dumb phone that hasn't even been paid for. It was bought in China. So that was the entire problem all along, seeing as Google Play Store is completely blocked and there's no way to install apps other than leaving Unknown Sources enabled and then downloading + installing from APKMirror.
If anyone can provide any help whatsoever, even if just to confirm it's broken and I must now waste my money on something I'll end up destroying , please leave a reply.
Thanks and hopefully I can fix this thing.
