Looking for an Andorid phone - General Topics

Hello,
Im looking for an Andorid phone that has these specs:
Price: £200ish
Display: 5.5" 1080p
CPU: Must be at least 6 core and not prone to overheating
RAM: 3GB
4G: Cover the 800Mhz range as I'm on THREE in the UK
Camera: Must be good in doors.
I cant seem to find any that covers these specs and is £200ish. I don't want a "chinese" one as I've found they are just unstable no matter what ROM I try.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Which unlocked phone for the US to buy?

Hi folks,
Looking for a cheap(er) Android 4.0 phone to run on AT&T network in the US, with occasional use in Europe. Which one of the Chinese clone phones has a better reputation/compatibility/service? The basic requirements:
- Android 4.0+
- unlocked
- within $150-$250 price range
- 4.3"-5" screen
- SD card support (ideally, up to 64GB)
- decent battery life (or, at least, not much worse than of the mainstream phones)
- ideally, 1GB of RAM
Also, the question is where to buy? I came across antelife, are they decent/reliable?
So far I've looked at:
- Hero 9300+ MTK6577
- Star i9220 MTK6575
- Zopo ZP300 MTK6575
- Freelander i10 MTK6577
- ThL W1 MTK6575
Is there any preference in this set? Anything else I should consider?
Thanks!
I dont know a good AT&T phone thats cheap but i know the Chinese developed phone, The Huawei Mercury for Cricket is a great cheap phone with very powerful specs, runs better than most other high end phones but it is very underrated...The speed is flawless with a 1.4ghz processor, takes striking pictures with a 8.0 megapixel camera, front camera is decent for a front camera its vga front camera so dont expect something huge. But i would suggest this phone to anyone, only drawback is that it doesnt have very much dev support but that can be changed.
Please see the **DEVICE SUGGESTION THREAD** for all such questions. Thank you. Thread closed.

[Q] Which of these 3 tablets to buy?

I was wondering whether to post in Off-topic or here, despite this board saying phones, and while tablets are not phones, I decided here due to lack of a proper decision.
There are 3 tablets that I have currently eyed:
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0(used;not sure if available)
Prestigio Multipad Quantum 7.85
Onda V711s
Now, out of all the three the Onda V711s wins by pure raw power, has a quad core CPU and a Power VR SGX544 MP4 GPU and a 7inch IPS display, however as you can already guess it's a chinese tablet. As for the Samsung one, I have an SGS2 smartphone, I've grown tired of the TouchWiz interface, the generic Samsung look and I am deeply afraid the tablet will suffer from lag which I experience on my SGS2 daily and has a dual-core CPU.
Still, I at least know the Samsung tablet is a known brand, uses common hardware and has a forum dedicated with it with many kernels/ROMs I presume, whereas the Onda v711s doesn't seem to have it's own dedicated thread(or any information regarding it on here). Also, the Onda from what I could understand in a Russian review(again, maybe I heard it wrong) has bad Wi-Fi reception and drops out.
The Prestigio tablet has a bigger screen, is slower than the Onda, anything else I am not sure.
Advice?

[Q] Recommended budget tablet

Hi all,
I am looking to buy a cheap tablet, and would really appreciate some recommendations...
My main requirements is that it has at least a dual-core processor (something fast please), a minimum of 1GB or RAM (more is always good), and a minimum of 8GB internal storage, screen size doesn't really matter as I have in the past found 7 inches to be sufficient...
I am also on a tight budget, so can't spend any more than about $100
As far as operating systems go, I like Android a lot, but also don't mind Windows 8/8.1 (though not so much Windows RT).
Cheers,
Harry

[Completed] [Q] Should I buy it? (Quart P5000s)

Hello, I am new here and I wanted to ask a question.
There is a phone I want to buy,but it is produced in my country and its only sold in my country also.I tried to find reviews everywhere but no luck...
So I wanted to ask here, here are the specs of the phone:
5"HD Display 1280x720 IPS screen
MT6582-1.3GHz, OCTA core processor
2 GB RAM
8 GB Flash + micro SD slot
2.0MP + 13.0MP AF camera
2G:GSM 850/900/1800/1900 Mhz
3G:WCDMA 850/2100Mhz
Dual SIM Dual standby
WIFI + BT + GPS
Battery :2450mAh
OS Android 4.4 Kit Kat
,here is even a link: amc(DOT)com(DOT)mk/ShopDetal.aspx?ArticleID=42192&i=1106&l=MK&q=&SupplierArticleID=&Action=A
So the phone is very good but the only problem is that it is 250$. So I just don't get it why a very good phone like this one is so cheap that's why I am asking you. Thanks

Good luck!

3 Chinese Powerhouses (need help choosing!)

Trying to choose between:
Elephone P8000
UMI IRON
Ecoo E04 Plus
They're all at a very similar price (£100-£150) and the discrepancy between the prices isn't much of a concern to me considering how much cheaper they are than so many phones on the market
The specs are all incredibly similar (octa core, 3gb ram, 13mp camera, 4g, 5.5" display), so really need some help choosing.
Thanks,
Ed
edit: oops, probably shouldn't have asked in general. If someone could move that'd be great.
edit2: made a new thread in Q&A. this can be deleted
