Holo Phone APK and Contacts APK xxmc8

Hey,
i modded the secphone.apk and secContacts.apk for xxmc8 rom, to fit it in Holo design.
Just download both apks and put them with a root explorer into system/app. Overwrite the old files and set permissions to rw- r-- r--.
Or if you are lazy just download the zip and flash it via temp cwm6, but dont forget to mount preload partition.
At the end it should look like this

If you want use it in your Rom pls ask or give credit.

Original files have more than 8MB , those have 2MB, are you sure there are all functions ?

Seriously? I Picked the Apks from another phone and replaced the pngs with the xxmc8 one, because other phone apks didnt worked for me, why are they working for you oO Recieving and sending calls also works?
But okay, main point is it works x)

I managed that you dont need to flash phone app. Everything is in Contacts. You just have to keep your previous secphone.apk so you can make calls

This Holo contacts is it coming From Samsung Glaxy S Advance I9070..??

Should i replace SecPhone.apk too??
Cz i ever try this and I change dial number n some icon in SecContacts.apk only for this...

you can just change seccontacts.apk , nothing will change with uploaded secphone.apk

[Q] Replace Stock Keyboard App

I Want to Replace the Stock Keyboard App with Windows 7 Keyboard App..
I Tried it using Titanium Backup..converting it to System App..but it Gives Fc's
I Also Want to Replace The Music App with Apollo and Camera App with Camera Zoom FX..

Some apps need lib files when made into system app
Extract that wp7keyboard.apk.
Copy \wp7keyboard.apk\lib\armeabi\libjni_latinime_moo.so
And paste it to system/lib/
Set permissions rw-r-r
Do the same for the rest.
To know which lib files are necessary, use link2sd and open the details of the app
It will show the libs needed for a user app to run.

On pc use winrar(or similar software) and simply open the apk
On mobile use root explorer. when you click on apk,use "view" option and you can have the insite of the apk
For setting permission,again you'll need root explorer (or similar apps). Just long press on the file you wanna set permission to.
There will be permission option and a window will pop-up
These are the right permissions-
Oh and while pasting in system,some roms have set "read-only" value by default.
Just change it to read-write by clicking on R/O button on the top-right corner.

buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut when i want to write oncethe newkeyboard showed up it take most all of the screen there is something wrong .. plz help me .. tks in advance..

Try using another apk from official cm7 or other compiled roms.
You can try this instead too

It is a system app. it won't show any libs for that.
Is that cm7 keyboard?
If yes, then open the apk. There's only one lib present there.
You'll need to use that.

How to convert the system apps into apk..
for eg. I have beats manager in my current rom..
and I wanna use another rom which doesn't have it..
and when I install it via titanium backup..it gives fc's
Also that rom doesn't have an option for screen shot in power menu like the cm roms..
but it is really fast and great..
I want to customize that one!

System apps are already in apk format.They are present in /system/app.
which rom is it? those beats managers are mostly modded dsp manager from cyanogen

I found it to be fast as well as good looking as compared to other JB roms(CM10.1)
So far I didn't find any fc's too..(like apollo closes after some time in Cm 10.1)
It even works well with the bad ass kernel..the one attached by the Lenio rom dev.

Firstly its not JB,its ICS.
And I haven't seen any mod/patch for aosp roms. You'll have to cherry-pick from cyanogen.
You'll have to try out some app or goto terminal and type reboot or reboot recovery

Yeah..but atleast it looks better than gb..m fed up of gb

You must be rooted for this, then install a root browser and Mount system "rw"
btw you need to copy files into /system not in /sys

Everything works fine on my Canvas 2!
One minor hiccup is a FC when pressed the settings button on keyboard.
But, settings are accessible from Languages and Input so no problem!!

Say, i flashed the zip through recovery and the keyboard is working fine, i can download languange and change settings fine. However everytime i want to open the smileys the keyboard app stopped, can anyone help me here?
after the keyboard stopped it will work again if i touch on any textfield though, just when opening the smiley it stopped.

Two possible reasons
either you didn't install the superuser mod or you did not clear the data in settings

I see, i certainly did clear the data in settings. So maybe superuser mod is the problem, however i can't seem to install it from CWM, its aborted everytime i try to flash, maybe i'll try to put the file manually. I'm both rooted and deodexed my phone.

Before sending the feedback I tried it!
But smile key make FC

This keyboard has some stability issues after 4 to 5 days of use , i got keyboard stopped responding ! It happened with me multiple times !

after flashing zip in recovery,it shows "xperia keyboard has stopped working" error message everytime....i tried cleaning app data but still didnt fix.....so how can i fix this prob????????

for SMS
add a line in ur build.prop ro.multisim.simslotcount=1
for lte fix
go to build.prop
find the line
ro.product.name=kmini3gxx
ro.product.device=kmini3g
make it
ro.product.name=kminiltexx
ro.product.device=kminilte
and tell me the result

For the results:
Lte option appears in Setting app rite now!!! ????????
however for SMS I still couldn't receive them, although I can send out SMS but there's no delivery reports.. I guess they are the same problem ??
And finally, how can I restore NFC by replacing files in stock G7105 rom? I use it to check balance in my 'Octopus card' (a public transit prepaid card) ??????????????????

Post these files in right folder as they are in this zip and set permission rwrr(644) for apk and xml file then reboot and install theme as normal apk
DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING FROM RECOVERY

Dont flash just put the files in system/priv-apps and set correct permission either replace with old touchwiz launcher by renaming this or delete old one and paste this one dont forget to set correct permission

I have touchwizhome_zero.apk on my system-priv app sir..
So I must delete it and just replace with touchwizhome_2016.apk, or I must rename it first to touchwizhome_zero.apk sir?

Either delete the whole touchwiz_zero folder along with apk and paste touchwiz_2016 folder with apk or rename touchwiz_2016.apk to touchwiz_zero.apk and replace. Do set the correct permission for apk and folder
