If I'm in google keyboard an play around with the bottom right corner the whole screen zooms out to a smaller one
When I try to screenshot it only captures the mini screen not the border, a selfie is the only way I could do it
What's this for?

That's floating windows. My Find 7 has it too. I turned it off because I kept accidentaly bumping apps into a small window.
Go to Security Centre - Privacy Permissions - Floating Window Management
I found what it's for in the settings, now that I know what it's for its obvious[emoji14]

I assume you got your F1f from **** Smith during the close down?
The cover came for my wife's today. Time to set it up for her to use. Keeping it standard for now. I'll freeze Google apps she won't use.
Later, when (if) there's a reliable exploit to unlock and root, then I'll do that and keep ColorOS but I want to see if the F1f gets a Marshmallow OTA update.
That's not floating windows, it is a tool to reduce the screen size for one-handed use (it is explained in the settings). You do it by swiping from a lower corner to the center.

Hello everybody,
Write On Air is an application that allows you to simulate the drawing on air.
This is to virtually draw on screen through the camera.
What you need
- A device with camera, running on android.
- A homemade pen with a distinguished red tip.
- Being in a well lighted place.
How to use it
- The first icon from the left allows you to make the pen activated.
- The second icon allows you to clear the screen.
- Move your homemade pen in front of the camera to write/draw on air.
The current version don't consider the depth.

Greetings,
Thanks for the share. The App looks great .
Unfortunately I get "Waiting for network" upon launch.
I've tried the usual troubleshooting, reinstall, reboot etc...
(Tested on SGS2 19100 with AOKP B40).
Regards.
EDIT: Also had the sane result on HTC Sensation running CM9.
Hello,
Just enable your network and disable your admob ad blockers

this app is available on play store, and i dont like it cuz it a little bit lag
I've googled a few different queries and even checked an old thread about this app on this site but can't find an answer, so here goes.
I'm using an unmodified HTC Desire S and sometimes the app will just 'wake' my lockscreen without me doing anything. I can see this being an issue with battery life. One of the old threads did mention this problem but didn't give any insight on how to fix it, they just said "it has been fixed in later versions", and it clearly hasn't.
Thanks for reading.
edit: welp, didn't realise this wasn't in the general forums.
Hello,
I have been running the cataclysm ROM for several weeks now. I like it, I must say. Really nice OS.
However, one think I can not figure out is how to get the camera sweep shortcut to the lockscreen.
In settings there is an option to turn it on or off, but it does not make a difference. I already tried to fiddle around with the widget settings etc.
Also I could not find a setting in the Camera app and I have tried some external apps for lockscreen management.
Re-flashing the rom (no wipe) also does not make a difference.
I am posting here since the ROM thread has been closed for 2 weeks now. Google and search could not help me.

Thanks, that helped!
Is it not possible to use the 'stock' shortcut at the right bottom?
There's no shortcut on bottom left, but if you swipe the screen from right to left like you do on home screen , you will get the camera..
Just assume that there is a shortcut icon in the bottom left and do it..

Hello XDA,
Is anyone else having problems with their messenger chat heads appearing like on the photo I attached (chat head should appear on the right side of the screen)? I also noticed the part of the screen horizontal to the chat head doesn't respond to touches when the chat head is active

You do know that you can move chat head anywhere in the screen?!

Yes but it should always stick on the edges, right?

I tried to reset my galaxy s6 and pressed volume down, power off and home button together. Now the phone has been showing the android saying downloading do not turn off for two hours.
Is this normal?

Yes, that is the download mode (or Odin mode) for flashing firmware, just pres and hold same combination (Vol. down+home+Power), and release it when the screen goes off, to reboot the phone.
Can anyone help me fix the built in camera app. I stupidly installed the latest Samsung camera app from apk mirror and now it doesn't open.
Thanks

Edit: Fixed by reflashing the ROM I'm using.
Restore the device to factory settings and your done!
Before that make back up anything you need!
Hi all - need answer from older members, googled a bit before no information regardless to my question what i want to know is it problem or not. Is it due f1.9 apertature or no ? Changing 4.3 - 16:9 modes , nothing changes, same effect. I can see it only in close range - 30cm range, like in these photos. Model is international unlocked, 920 android 7 BTU feb22 . Found this only now, by doing macro shots on the table ( have phone for 5 months, under warranty - thats why wanna to hear answers is it a problem, give them to fix it or no, its ok )
I'm receiving this "fish eye effect's" , very small amount of it, near corners - I marked RED or Black color with a line the real position of object in real life and what I get wia phone when I take a picture in 16mp mode or any other mode.
