***About Mobile Data***
Mobile data is available on all supported Android versions. I have tested it on Nexus One and Samsung Galaxy Nexus. However it may not work on some phone models, i.e. on HTC EVO 4G Mobile Data Off works, but On - doesn't.
I'm very sorry if this function doesn't work on your device, very often manufacturers block this and there's nothing i can do about it
Here's an example:
- Switch ringer off at night and switch it back on in the morning.
- Wake up to your favorite music by launching your internet radio app.
- Make your screen brighter during day time and keep it darker in the evening to save battery.
- Switch WiFi on when you get home and switch it off when you're off to work.
- Automatically turn off mobile data when you go to bed to save battery and turn it back on when you wake up
Phone Schedule is highly configurable, supports multiple tasks at one time, lets you specify days of week when you want specific tasks to run. If you want every task to trigger a notification in your phone's notification bar, you can easily enable notifications on the Settings page. Disabling notifications is just as easy "Pause Tasks" function, use it when you have unexpected business meeting, so scheduled tasks won't execute during a timeout which you set.
Phone Schedule runs in background, so once you setup your tasks, you won't need to reschedule them manually, everything is done automatically.
List of supported actions:
- Silent mode
- Vibration mode
- Normal mode
- Switch WiFi On
- Switch WiFi Off
- Switch Bluetooth On
- Switch Bluetooth Off
- Airplane Mode On
- Airplane Mode Off
- Change Ringer volume
- Change Media volume
- Change Alarm volume
- Change Notification volume
- Change Ringtone
- Silent Ringtone
- Change Notification Tone
- Silent Notification Tone
- Brightness - Auto
- Brightness - Full
- Brightness - Cutsom
- Dim Screen
- Launch an app
- Mobile Data On (May not work on some devices)
- Mobile Data Off (May not work on some devices)
- Reminder
The list of actions is continuously growing, stay tuned for updates!
About permissions:
* Access network state, Change network state - To enable/disable mobile data
* Full internet access - for crash reports, this greatly helps to debug the app and prevent crashes
* Change your audio settings - to set silent/vibration/normal modes and change volumes
* Automatically start an boot - to start working on your tasks automatically on boot after you reboot your phone
* create Bluetooth connections, Bluetooth administration, change WiFi state - to switch WiFi and Bluetooth On and Off(No data transmission!)
* Modify global system settings - To enable/disable Airplane mode
* Prevent phone from sleeping - to execute your tasks when your phone is sleeping

I'd love to hear your comments and reviews. If you can think of more features that would be nice to have in Phone Schedule, just let me know, maybe i can implement some of them in the next update.
Can you add phone signal off option?
Sent from my HTC HD2 using Tapatalk 2
I don't have this function yet, but i'll look into in, maybe i can implement it. In the meantime, you could use Airplane Mode action.

Sound profiles, and custom modes
Talking Ring is a kind of constructor that can customize the sound modes, which determine the ring tone sounds, sound volume and vibration setting on the phone.
Using profiles, you can quickly customize and change the sound settings of your device. Changing the profile depends entirely on your wishes and preferences.
Designer widget will change the sound mode here and now one touch, without unnecessary keystrokes.
The program includes three sound profiles and 8 customizable modes for these profiles:
1. Auto - this mode is to alert the user to the call, refers to the microphone device and evaluates the noise pollution of the environment, and then selects one of the modes: hard or silent.
2. Hard - as "noisy" and visible (blinking flash) mode for the user to be able to hear the phone call in a loud environment.
3. Soft - this mode is in the process of notification of the call increases the ringer volume.
4. Manual / manual - alone mode exhibited by the user.
5. Silent - mode indicator lights (blinking flash and the screen) without sound and vibration call.
6. Winter mode - option in all other modes, to answer a phone call shaking, joggling or dangling your phone. Particularly handy in the winter, when the touch screen phones do not perceive the touch of a gloved hand.
7. Contact mode - a mode that allows the user to individually adjust the selected contacts call mode. Contact mode can be enabled with any other sound mode and then it is the priority and importance. For example the contact FAVOURITE I put manual mode to even regardless of current affairs could see and hear the call from the contact.
8. Wi-Fi mode will change modes when you connect or disconnect the phone to the access points Wi-Fi
Sound profiles:
1. Basic - this is the current sound mode is selected and adjusted (if necessary) by the user, in which can be hard, soft, manual or silent mode.
2. Temporary - a profile that includes the user-selected mode is on or before the specified time. After this time the temporary regime is replaced by a regime that has worked before. Also can be selected hard, soft, manual or silent mode. For example, going to a meeting, which will last 1:00 h, temporarily turn on the soft mode.
3. Regular profile activates the sound mode is selected in the specified period of time and at the right day. For example, I do not want to be disturbed at night from 00:00 to 8:00, so Talking Ring regularly for me at this time, each day includes a silent mode.

How do I turn off audible notifications for email and messages?

I've been playing with the phone since yesterday, but I keep on getting all these loud notifications and can't figure how to stop them. The phone is in the OEM LED wallet case.
For email, I just go into my email app (I use Gmail) and under alert tone I just select none. As for text notifications, not sure, without turning off system notifications all together. Maybe select a different, less irritating alert tone in the system settings?
Thanks,
I found Manage Notifications for each email account and selected Silent for the Gmail account. Gonna check on messages now.
I have my work email set to vibrate only. So I set the notification suond to silent. It's an option when you're choosing the notification sound. That's the easiest way.
That way you still keep the notification etc, but it stays silent.
This phone is driving me crazy. I'm coming from the Note 9 which only gave audible notifications when the phone rang. Now I'm getting sounds for all different apps. It is distracting and annoying. Samsung should have put in one setting to turn off all audible notifications except for phone calls. The interruptions out of this phone make it unsuitable as a business device.

Why not just turn the notification volume down if you don't want to hear them? That's what a volume slider is for isn't it?
I think also if you set the default notification to "none" that will take care of 95% of apps. Only ones that wl still have a sound are ones that provide their own notification sound, like eBay or Facebook.
I've just figured out how to do this today and it's actually really simple lol, seemed to get rid of all audio for notifications. Go into Settings > Ringtone > Sound and Vibration and then to notification sound, choose the sim and scroll to the top for Silent.

I'm having trouble too. I want to enable silent notifications and choose which apps are audible. I haven't been able to find a way to do this.

Just change the notification sound for each app. The ones you want to be silent, just set the notification tone for those apps to silent. Some apps have the settings in the app. But you can find all notifications in Settings > Notifications > tap "See all" > then change the drop down menu from "Most recent" to "All".
Then in the list you can find the apps you want to change the notification sounds for.
Folks, Thanks everyone for your help. Following your advice I was able to mute everything except for the phone call ring. I went to the following:
Settings
Sounds and Vibration
Volume
Notifications
Then I just reduced the volume there and all is well.
These tips are all fine and dandy, but i'm getting notification alerts when my phone simply rotates from portrait to landscape, answering and completing phone calls, opening and closing ANY app, etc etc. I'm also coming from a Note 9, and none of this garbage occured on that one. Only difference between my 9 and 20 ultra (aside from the model), is that my 9 is a factory purchase and my 20 from Verizon.
As an afterthought, since I use a bluetooth device, is there a way to have an audible alert on both the phone AND BT device? I can apparently only choose one or the other with this new UI. If I choose the phone, no notification sounds come through the BT headset, and if I choose the BT, no audible notifications come through the phone (oddly, 'some' notifications come through my watch, but not always?).
Again, none of these issues were present in my Note 9. I wonder if there's a way to transfer system notification settings from my 9 to 20....

The App in action on a Galaxy Z Flip, Fold 3, Pixel 5a: (Looking for photos of your device, please attach them!)
All that is cool! But what about Energy Ring consuming Battery?!
This is one of the most exciting question for me to answer. Energy Ring more than anything understands that you need to utilize your battery efficiently (after all, that's why you installed the App, right? .) Energy Ring sits on the screen silently putting almost 0% load on CPU, if battery level changes, Android wakes up Energy Ring. Once awake, Energy Ring quickly updates itself and goes back to sleep. And to be that extra efficient, the Ring goes on deep sleep when you turn off the screen, meaning it doesn't even read changes in battery level when the screen is off.
Accessibility Service Requirement:
Android requires Energy Ring to run as an Accessibility Service, to be able to display on Lock Screen. It does not read/monitor any data, whatsoever. This is especially useful for people who have disability to read numbers and work better with visual data.

I want to see only battery charging indicator.
Can anyone shine some light on how much burn in this app causes?
