[Q] Removing core components of a Galaxy S

Hi ya folks, this is the only place i could think to go for help with this.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant (the one from t-mobile). I just recently switched to Verizon and got the Experia. Anyway I want to turn my vibrant into a strict mp3 player I looked for a rom to do this and was unable to find one. So I had the idea of removing everything but the OS from the phone I got rid of Touchwiz and used Zeam I got Poweramp and used the full screen widget and reduced it to a single Desktop. I Started deleting the Core components such as the phone camera gps 3g stuff all that fun stuff. but every time i keep deleting things that render the phone non functional. I was wondering If any of you wonderful developers had a list of non essential components so I could delete the right ones and leave the ones required to make the phone boot up and use the poweramp app. Thanks in advance.

[Q] how do I keep the FB share option flashing a ROM that does not have it

I am a fairly new member but have followed this forum for long time due to its useful tips and vast knowledge. I have posted i'm a couple threads and apologize if I did so in the wrong manner.
I have Samsung infuse 4g sgh-i997 ucbl3 GB 2.3.6 recently went back to stock ROM due to I think a couple bad flashes. I assume Anwar cuz settings working fine now. I had the aeon ROM which I loved. so I want to re flash the ROM but not the stock libs because i've tried both (with and without) and found the one without I liked better.
Now my question is this. Is there a way to keep the option for Facebook sharing, I want to be able to go to gallery and click share and press Facebook. So I don't know if I have to keep Facebook in my accounts and sync setting? how will I accomplish this while flashing the ROM that does not have it?

[Q] Samsung media player port

Hello all!
Over the past few months, I've noticed a few quirks that came with the ics os on the tablet (Camera freezing, usb drama, ect.); So I rooted it, and loaded cyanogen 9.1. The only problem now is that I enjoyed the stock samsung media player better than apollo or any of the other music apps out there. I've tried to load the .apk and system files, but it fails to install every time.
Any information why or why not this is possible is greatly appreciated.
(If it matters, its the GT-P5113, but I doubt that has anything to do with it)

The stock rom and the CM rom have different framework.
The stock apps tend to need custom libs added to the ROM in order to run the apps. This is done on purpose to specifically prevent you from doing what you're trying to do, which is take Samsung's apps and put them on another device. (I know it's the same device, but it's no longer a Samsung device for all intents and purposes.) They didn't do this to stop you from using their apps on custom ROMs so as much as to stop you from taking their apps and putting them on say an HTC device. Their apps only work on stock Samsung ROM's so you hav eto buy a Samsung device in order to use their apps that you want. All phones and tablets with custom version of Android are set up like this, with the exception of the Google Nexus devices that are bone stock Android.
Apps from stock roms can be ported sometimes, but it takes a lot of work and a lot of developer know how to figure our how to port the libs and make them compatible with the customer ROM. It's not as simple and just copying files.
In other words, get used to a different media player. You're not ever going to see the stock one on a CM rom.
Thta said, you don't have to use the one that came with CM either. There are like 9 billion media players on the Play Store. Try a bunch out. You may find one you like even better than the stock Samsung one.

Complete Bloatware List?

I am looking for a complete bloatware list for the Note 10.1. This is the only thread I found specifically relating to the Note 10.1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2013918
This is one for the GS3 which was a very complete list.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqTvctlW89DtdC1qVUlLeVFTV3ZOdUtDclpBdVRQOUE&pli=1#gid=0
Many of the apps appear to be the same between it and the Note 10.1. I do use some of the apps that I think would be classified as bloat like the stock browser and sNote so I don't want to simply install a Clean Stock Rom. Does anyone have a complete list specifically for the Note 10.1?
Not to be a smart a$$ but why would you start a completely new thread when there was one started with darn near the same title, and gave you the answer you were looking for?
Unlike 99% of the people on here you actually searched 1st before posting which is great but to post the same thing that answered what you were looking for doesn't make sense.
But to answer your question, that list is pretty much everything bloat on here
There has been no Note investigation in regards extra bloat ware over and above that basic list for SGS models .
Users have the option of Googling a relevant APK or deleting any files they think they don't want .

Gear 2 Neo a Galaxy S5 and CM 13

Hey everyone!
This is my first time ever posting on XDA. I have been running custom ROMs for a while now and I love the clean, for the most part feature rich ROMs that strip all the bloatware out that these manufacturers force on their users.
There has been one thing that has been bugging the crap out of me and that's as the title states getting a Gear 2 Neo watch to work with "Gear Manager" now simply named Samsung Gear.
A little background:
I first attempted this on CM 12 (Lollipop Android), and there was endless thread of people attempting the same thing with different ROMs getting mixed results with a variety of either different version of the gear manager App and all different version of associated plugins. (All attempts I tried all failed, just couldn't get the gear software on my phone to find the watch, either when the phone was BT paired to the watch or not.)
So after giving up from complete frustrations. I decided my phone needed a cleanup (was getting really buggy from multiple app installs and who knows what else) I generally have root mode disabled whenever humanly possible. Lucky CM releases great night version of their ROM that can be easily installed an upgraded using CWM or in my case TWRP.
So Now I'm on the latest build of CM13 (Marshmallow Android) and as most of you know Samsung released the gear app to work on other versions of Android (But no their own hardware with custom ROM installed).
So The App installed and all I get is the "You've modified you OS that is incompat... blah blah blah, gear app won't run". Quickly searching this the latest post basically stated that all they did was change their build.prop file to say htc instead of samsung. I made these changes, re-installed gear app. Now it loads (At least some progress) but still no matter what I do the dang app refuses to find the watch.
Can someone please provide a clear step by step what I need to do to get my Gear 2 Neo, to work on my S5 running CM 13? I really don't want to back to TouchWiz :S
