Unlock FM Radio - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note5

Does anyone think tmobile will unlock the FM chip so we can use it or is it possible to look into the update for the 7s and see what was used to unlock the FM chip?

That would be cool af. But, I think it's open on the s7 because everybody got screwed on root.

Ahhh yep...I was gonna say! Lol I didn't think our exynos had a fm tuner...

So is that is true does that mean the international version doesn't have an FM chip?

I am not.

Why? Are we supposed to?
Not that I'm aware of. But I was hoping we'd get it because I've heard it fixes the heating, performance, and battery issues.

Anyone use N920i (international) version on T-mobile?

How is it? Will Samsung Pay works?

I'm also curious
You'll lose wifi calling with T mobiles sketchy service I'd avoid any unlocked phone. If I had ATT odd go that root
Anybody? I really want to know this as well!

Mine looks the same except it has "fota" after hipri. How is that different?

Not entirely sure to be honest I'm a Canadian Wind mobile user so I'm sure someone else has the answer, I just searched AT&T's website for that screenshot. Sorry for not exactly being helpful.

No, the APN isn't that critical anymore (they don't have different 3G and LTE APNs any longer)... but if you never had an LTE phone, you will need to call customer service and have LTE activated on your account before you will get LTE on AT&T post-paid (Go Phone is preconfigured with LTE on all SIMs). On mine, all I did was plug in the SIM and I had LTE in a few seconds.

Wireless charger

Should you be able to use the regular Samsung Wireless Charger with the S2? I can't get it to charge.
I can't either, I believe it has to be positioned a certain way and my band unfortunately keeps me from doing that

I think it's a different standard than the Qi that's used for Samsung phones.

That's horrible

Can this phone be unlocked for another carrier?

Title says it all. Does anyone know if this can be done? If so, what carriers and how do you go about doing it?

Nothing to do man. Just pop a sim inside. Mine been on T Mobile for a frw months
Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
Yes, it can definitely be done. However, it can't be done with free tools found on XDA.
Idoneapps.apk works like a charm
It can be done, as i have been using a Pakistani career sim on Sprint's Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
