I'm trying to power on my UE Boom (which uses Bluetooth LE), using my Pebble smartwatch. I'm able to power on the Boom using the UE Boom app on my phone, but I want to create a standalone app that I can trigger to launch from my watch, an app which only turns on my Boom when it starts and then the app exits.
Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place for my question, but I'd like to know if there is any app to block other apps from connecting to a specific wi-fi, and here is why, I have a limited 3G wifi connection that I share with my wife and kids, and I have no problem when they use it for facebook, whatsapp and the whatever else, but there are one or two apps that are killing my bandwith and I don't want to just block said apps from accessing any wi-fi, just mine.
Is there a way to do so?

Scenario :
Burglar breaks into a house. His wifi is on, on his mobile.
Would the router in the house collect data from the phone sending out an probe requests.?
If so what data? SSID or other data unique to that phone.?
Obviously the suspect phone won't connect to the WiFi.
Look forward to any positive and not speculative replies.

I have a Galaxy S5 and use a Plantronics M55 Bluetooth. I want to record my phone calls using the Bluetooth. Is there an App that will do that? Currently, I am using Automatic Call Recorder but it doesn't work with my Bluetooth.

I turned on the text to speech and all of a sudden my phone went haywire. It can't switch off. It does but turn on immediately. My screen is totally unresponsive and I can't turn pages. What do I do?

i'm looking for a method or app that will force a wifi connection to use a certain protocol. for example, my network supports 802.11g/n and the phone usually connects at the higher speed but i would like to force it to use 802.11g
